I have this cover in the past and now with the new iPad I need it again, it's a good cover and flip to turn on and off, the only problem it's the price, doesn't protect if you droop it and if you take it from the cover you can drop the iPad, it's no designed for protection for falls or water, but protect from scratches when you are not using your iPad, just how I said the price it's high if you are looking for a protector

This Smart Cover gives a wonderful balanced look and feel to your iPad mini. Doesn't do much for protection obviously, but it does keep the screen clean and protected when not in use.

What can you say about this cover that has not been said before? It simply works and fits perfectly as it is an oem product. You may pay a bit more but nothing works better.

This is fantastic. I wasn't looking for a full case, just needed something to protect the screen in my bad and that would function as a stand. This does the job perfectly.

I like this products. Protects the screen very well. It does leave fuzz and streaks though. Nothing a little cleaner won't fix.

Love the color, not bulky, would be nice if it held the iPad up better for an angle

I got this as an open item. I inadvertantly thought this was a case (the package was in two parts). It is not a case. As a cover, it works fine. I'm happy with product.

This case is the best official Apple case for the mini that's out there. It's so slim and you just literally place it on and it's snaps on using magnetics.

It is exactly like in the picture, works great for our mini iPad! Only no, is that it only covers the screen, for the back you need to purchase separate

We purchased this case when we bought our iPad mini 2 so that we could protect the screen and prop up the device when using it for both its work (notes, web, e-mail) and entertainment (Hulu/Netflix) functions. Not terribly protective when it comes to dropping the device, but it's a good first step for sticking the device in your bag without worrying about the screen.

I had no doubt it would be a perfect fit. There are other "cover & case" options but only Apple makes this separate cover to match a variety of cases

Attaches firmly to the magnetic strip. Does not jar loose from the screen. Makes a good adjustable stand.

This cover is extremely durable and I love the fact that it can be folded and used as a stand to sit the iPad up to watch movies or browse the web.

My wife and I purchase a cover each for our iPhone 6+. My cover has held up great, hers not so great. I keep mine in a pouch on my hip, and it still looks new. She keeps hers in her purse, and longer with keys, gun, and everything else a woman puts in there purse. Hers has started to rip at the seams. Not bad enough that she can't still use it, but not to her liking.

Purchased as gift for a niece she loves the color and the cover is actually useful in maintaining battery life. Price can of course be better.

If you have an iPad mini 3, you have to have this cover. It really is smart - turns off ipad when closed, saving the battery. This is a real plus.

My fiancé bought this for me for Christmas. This case is slim and fits perfect. Just the right amount of coverage. This cool is also great!
