These are my favorite headphones by far. I own several headphones which I use for various purposes such as the gym, walking in the street or just to watch videos. These are by far the Best of the Best and worth every penny. Once you use these you will never want to use anything else and you will say to yourself why did it take this long to immerse yourself into the sound of these because they put everything else to shame.

These head phones are amazing, they produce excellent sound and cut the outside noice 90 percent of the way. Definitely a step ahead of the lower end models. Do not take my word for it try them now.

This price is crazy, but deff worth it, the most I thought I'd ever spend on headphones was $100, I bought these with the idea I would just return them after 30 days, but I can't! Totally worth it!

Dont buy these if you like your music really loud. I was mad; because even after I purchased two different volume booster apps- it was only acceptable. Equalizer supplied by sony was ineffective. Noisecanceling works great; but what good is that if you can't really crank your tunes if you want? Even without Noisecanceling engaged volume still is not excellent. Music is clear; but they tried to do too much electronically. When I took the volume to its maximum limits I was shocked at how low it was for the price. Instead of a rock concert ,I got a harp recital....

Great for cancelling out constant background noise like machinery like air conditioners and while flying in airplanes. When I take them off after using them in loud environments for a lengthy period I have to take them off slowly to let my ears re-adjust to the loud environment again. I mostly got them to drown out loud coworkers but they don't do so well at that as I had hoped. Very happy with the sound quality. It would be better if you could just turn on the noise cancellation but if you don't have a device playing through to the headphones they auto turn off after 5 minutes. To adjust settings or update the phone you have to use a phone app.

The Sony 1000X noise-canceling headphones were a nice surprise, providing excellent audio quality and noise cancellation equal to other brands I have used including Bose. Easy to configure, charge and program with my cell phone app, the two new features of dynamic noise cancellation and being able to temporarily shut off noise cancellation to hear those around you with a simple touch of the right earpiece are very subtle but practical additions.

A little pricey, but worth it. Headphone has a lot of features. Pair it with the Sony app for customized settings. Headphone are easy to travel with, a case is included. Battery lasts for hours.

So far the best noise cancelling phone on the market in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling. Was able to compare with Bose 35 and plantronics backbeat pro 2 headphones. Bose won the second place (noise cancelling is less impressive especially for human voices) and plantronics the third one. For better understanding of the differences I would suggest to check the rtings.com website. My observations matched their test results.

Very good sound. Good bass and smooth mids and clear,but not harsh highs. App to eq sound easy to use.

These things are great. They cancel noise and play great music. They are very comfortable.

These headphones are really amazing! As a frequent traveler, they block the airplane noise very well. I love the feature, where I cup my hand over the right ear and it pauses and turns on the ambient mics, so I can hear and talk to people. However, after the extremely long firmware update, I started experiencing a problem where the headphones would flutter during the reverse-thrust portion of the landing. I had never seen this happen before, but as a result, I returned the headphones at 13 days, so I didn't get stuck with something that wasn't working correctly. If I find out that Sony resolves this problem in future updates, I would consider buying them again.

Hands down the best headphones in their price point available currently! When my local Best Buy location got the display in for them I couldn’t believe how well the noise cancelling worked, to the point that an employee tried to talk to me while I had them in and I didn’t hear him! The gesture controls built into the right side work very well and if you didn’t know they were there, probably would never know for how well it’s hidden.

Love all the features of the headphones including the noise cancelling and the touch controls.

After years of having my NC headphones, I convinced my significant other to get these. She loves them and loves the quick “pause” of the Noise cancelling by only placing her hand on the ear cup. This lets her listen to plane announcements without having to find an off button or taking them off. NC is perfect too and has great sound.

These headphones not only sound amazing but the features packed on these are many compared to other brands. These have a nice noise cancellation as well as a very detailed sound with deep bass. The only minor downside to these is that there is a small hissing sound when nothing is playing and can be heard on a quiet environment, I'm not sure if all noise cancelling headphones do the same thing as this is my first pair.

True story I bought my wife Bose headphones she was excited so I wanted some headphones but I wanted something different so I chose Sony, we were on a plane coming from Cancun m, we both have our headphones on and she tapped me on my shoulder and asked me do I hear the baby crying and I said no so she tried them long story short she doesn’t want her Bose anymore she wants my Sony 1000xm2
