I bought this sound bar on Black Friday when it was on sale for $148, gotta say for that price the sound bar was worth it. It sync perfectly with my Sony TV and is bluetooth capable so I jam out to music on my phone. The subwoofer could be a little louder, it is strictly base output. I gotta say though I bought the sound bar on an impulse and I haven't regretted it yet.

Well designed, pleasing appearance, easy setup, and great sound. I read several reviews, and was surprised to read that the sound was not good, or the bass loud enough. For a small unit in a normal size living room, this definitely has enough sound to overwhelm, and the bass can really thump! I actually have 2 of these, and the Secure Link allows you to pair the soundbar with the correct subwoofer so they always mate properly. Bluetooth is easy and fast, with reasonable range. Highly recommended in this price range.

This sound bar provides a huge improvement over my tvs built in speakers. The Bluetooth has great range and good sound presets. The sub is lacking however. The first couple times I used it I couldnt tell it was even on and had thought I had messed up synching it to the sound bar.

I have always had problems with sound on the TV's I've owned. Be it the acoustics in the room, the sound from the TV (you know what I'm talking about; having to turn the sound up to hear the spoken word to only be blasted in the next scene by loud effects and music) and possibly my own hearing. So when I purchased this new TV I decided to go the little extra and get a soundbar. I am very pleased I did. So far I haven't had to mess with the sound as often as before (still can't get away from the stations broadcasting the way they do) and the sound is crisp and clear. It gives the feel of the picture that much more. I gave it 4 stars because of the subwoofer. It keeps cutting out and it won't always respond from the remote control when it is working. Personally I don't need it, so it's no big deal for me. The bar is awesome and provides amazing sound without it!

I have a small office where I need to sometimes play music - actually, drumming - and my old CD player died. Since everything now is Blue Tooth, I went shopping for a nice Blue Tooth speaker set to serve as a replacement. At the local store. The "pure" BT speakers were too expensive, but I noticed lots of kinds of "sound bars" that had BT capabilities. The sales guy and I tried the eight or so kinds of sound bars (had to use their sound samples - couldn't just drop in my own CD). The Sony clearly had the clearest sound of the lot - it seemed that most of them were optimized for "Explosions" rather than clean accurate audio. (Pro tip: try a well recorded piano piece for testing any speakers - piano sounds are so complex and nuanced that any flaws in the speaker become obvious. Unless you really like explosions.)

The sound quality is very good. Doesnt match a Bose system in sound deffinition and bass attack but it is very decent and enjoyable to listen to. If you dont need a super loud system this is a good option I like it very much

When shopping for a soundbar there are basically two categories. Super cheap or really expensive. I wasn't in the market to bust out $500+ for a soundbar, but I did want some quality sound for my new 4k Sony TV. Having trusted Sony quality for years I knew that even though this soundbar fell into the "cheap" category it was still going to be of high quality. I'm not sure how a "really expensive" soundbar could be better? This thing has amazing sound quality and pairs easily with my tv, and with amazon echo. Father came over and head the sound and although he has a "really expensive" soundbar for his main tv he was impressed enough to purchase this soundbar for his other tv in the house.

The sound quality for the price can't be beat. Easy to use and I love the Bluetooth capabilities. HOWEVER... I purchased this on Black Friday and have since experienced a delay between the Sony 4K TV and the Sound Bar. It was fixed by using the optical cable included with the sound bar. Unfortunately, the Bravia Sync no longer works since I had to disconnect the HDMI/ARC (which caused the delay). The HDMI/ARC connection worked for the cable box (Comcast), but not with the apps on the TV (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.). It is frustrating because I have to use separate remotes to control the volume now.

This Sony sound system looks good with my Sony Bravia TV, and it is easy to setup and use - even for a 70+ y/o lady. The sound is full and rich even when listening to my favorite classical music. The only issue I had was that the unit turns itself on/off when using the cable remote. This is not a problem when listening to music, but when listening to news or a program/movie with verbal content, an echo effect is noticeable, which is quite disconcerting. So, to reduce the hassle of turning the speaker system on and off, I keep the TV's sound level at zero. Don't know whether that will affect the longevity of the speakers.

The price was amazing! The sound quality is off the chain. The bar is very pretty. It gets very loud and the Bluetooth is very good. It is overall amazing.

Sony Sound Bar has a great sound, thumping bass, sleek design and nice look for such an awesome price pre-Black Friday. Like the fact the top of sound bar can be wiped clean of dust easily versus the ones that have the speaker cover on top that collects dust. Tested out other ones that were on sale in the same price range and we kept coming back to this one. Really makes watching tv and listening to music more enjoyable. My son was ecstatic I got this for him and I’m glad to hear him enjoying it. Love the deal we got! Definitely recommend. BB rewards are awesome too!

Loved how they sounded. Easy to set up. Wireless subwoofer that comes with it is good. Premium feel and design. Would definitely buy again.

The sound from the soundbar is really good and rich. The bass could be a little bit more but overall its a good soundbar. I got this soundbar for 118 because the store tried to give me a "excellent" condition open box that was complete trash, so they ended up giving me a new one for the price I paid.

Purchased this to replace an old and ailing Bose system. I needed a small system to fit on my TV stand and one that was not so powerful that it disturbed neighbors in my condo - but I wanted good sound. This gave me all three! I especially love the Night setting which really helps to make the sound clear while allowing me to turn the overall system down at night. Easy to install, works like a gem

Was easy to set up, sound is good for the price, has BT capability which is nice.

I nice soundbar I purchased for $150 on sale. It's a nice step up from the TV speakers. I love the bass and full range sound but we turn it off at night and just use the TV speakers due to the bass thump kind of reverberates through the walls. Great for movies!

This soundbar would be perfect for someone in an apartment or condo - somewhere with thin walls. Why? Because the gigantic subwoofer has less bass than set of cheap computer speakers, even when turned all the way up. The overall sound isn't bad for watching normal TV or movies at a quiet volume, but if you're expecting "Booming" bass like the description, you'll be greatly disappointed. So if you just want a soundbar to upgrade the sound from the factory speakers on your flat screen, then this isn't a bad choice at all. Set up was a breeze and using the ARC output has integrated it with my TV. However, if you watch a lot of movies with action/explosions then you'll find the bass on this soundbar to be lacking.

I purchased this as open box. It was on sale for $199. It was lowered to 195 because it was opened but not taken out of the box. I got to the register and it was actually cheaper. So I lucked up on the price. Set up was easy. I am very pleased with the sound and the Bass. I purchased a $350 Polk sound bar with subwoofer and it sounds exactly the same. I love it.

I purchased this on Black Friday to go along with a new tv I also picked up. Hadn’t had a sound bar before and was pleasantly surprised. I would’ve like a little more bass punch from the subwoofer but all in all decent sound at a great price.
