I purchased this lens for an airshow in my area. It exceeded my expectations for such an inexpensive lens. The day of the airshow started off cloudy which took a little extra time to figure out the focus capabilities of the lens. By the afternoon the clouds broke and we had partly sunny skies but by that time I had dialed in the focus enough to get some good pictures. This lens is a great option for someone looking for a good quality telephoto lens that isn't going to break the bank. In all, the value for the quality and results is perfect for what I am going to use the lens for (Sports and action shots).

The Sony 55-210mm f/4-6.3 telephoto lens has become my favorite lens. It is very light and small, a little bit bigger than the kit lens, but it is still small and very easy to use. I find myself using it often. It worked perfectly to take some pictures of the eclipse even though I didn't use a tripod.

My Sony SteadyShot lens is a game changer pics come out sharp and clear, and the stabilization keeps everything smooth even when I’m shooting handheld. Super reliable and makes low-light shots way easier. Definitely one of my go-to lenses.

For a budget zoom lens it does the job pretty well, a bit fuzzy in some cases and focusing can be kind of annoying but it works very well and gets pretty good and clear photos

Bought this to add some range to my a6300, typically shoot with with a 28/1.8. After reading all the reviews there was little to no other option. There are maybe three zoom lenses for the e-mount system. So few options that this is actually the kit lens when you buy the zoom lens camera body. Don't let the fact that this is really your only option turn you off, this is a very good lens. Zooms way in and takes really good crisp pictures even zoomed all the way in and hand held...if you have the right settings on your camera.

The 55-210mm lens is perfect for getting some shots out in nature. I am a novice photographer and decided to take this lens for a test drive and was thoroughly impressed. The camera I used was the Sony ZV-E1.

This lens easy to put in your camera focus really clear and for being my first lens for my camera the pictures come out really nice this more for first timers like me

Absolutely no complaints. It's everything I wanted and more for the $300, in comparison to other E-Mount lenses with twice the focal length for almost five times the price. I find myself outside every night that the sky is clear, re- and disassembling my camera like a sniper rifle so I can take another picture of the moon with this lens.

Excellent quality, great stabilization for video, nice close-ups, was able to see the moons of Jupiter in a picture taken at full zoom.

Great price for people which are beginners and trying to capture photos with good quality.

The Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS is one of a familiar breed of lenses: an entry-level telephoto zoom lens designed to be paired with the standard 18-55mm kit zoom. On the plus side, this lens has enough reach for sports and wildlife photography, and includes helpful optical image stabilization (that's the OSS) that can help prevent blur from hand-shake at longer focal lengths.

This is a great starter lens, especially for the cost! I couldn’t be happier with the lens and it’s a perfect match for the A6400 (entire line, too). The resolution is very clear, near and far photos. Fantastic lens!

I've been looking for a good telephoto lens in my price range and was super excited to stumble across this one. This lens is a good introduction to macro photography without distorting the zoom quality. I really enjoy how lightweight it is and how easily it can fit in my camera bag.

For fhe price of the lens it takes nice clear picture if my kids playing soccer. When i zoom in on the photo while editing it actually stays clear and doesn't get distorted.

The Sony - 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 Telephoto Lens is highly recommended for photographers looking to capture distant images. I purchased the lens for my girlfriend who has a Sony a6000 camera. She is learning much about her camera still but has found the lens to be perfect for nature photography. The lens was great for shooting images of the Rocky Mountains and for the price point of $350 you can't be upset with the quality of the lens and images it takes.

I use this lens with my A7ii (full-frame) all the time. Many people say you can’t use an APS-C lens with a full frame sensor camera due to vignetting (or other reasons), but personally i havent had or seen an issue with it. If you do see a difference its a small fix on lightroom. Perfect budget-friendly beginner lens whether you have a crop or full frame sensor. I’ve added some RAW (unedited) pics for reference.
