This TV is probably the worst one I have ever owned. Sony is known for being an awesome brand, but this TV disappointed. It can''t even load the Hulu app, and there is no way to download new apps. The TV has the functionality of something made in 2008.

Even after 6 years this TV's picture is as good as new. Fantastic value and for the size of the room, perfect. Our 4th Sony, nothing else will do.

I purchased a TCL 55p605 last Saturday and the picture quality for 4K was unbelievable. I found regular tv viewing excellent as well. Where the TCL disappointed me was viewing sports. I attempted every tweak during calibration and between motion blur and the way the Fenway Park outfield appeared, it was returned today. I purchased the 55” Sony x720E and it’s just amazing. I don’t see any motion blur during sports at all and the color looks lifelike and realistic. I can’t vouch for user interface as I am using my Roku unit. There was very little tweaking of the settings during the set up. The TCL would be more geared to gamers and slower moving shows. The Sony is more versatile for my needs. Also if you haven’t experienced seeing nature videos via You Tube in 4K, your really missing something special. This Sony shines in everything it does.

sadly this tv didnt last long,we bought it in 07-2020,it broke in 12/2020,but thanks to the geek squad protection plan ,we were able to get a new one!!

This isn't a "smart" TV, The apps that come on it are the ONLY apps you get and the picture is fairly grainy. We ended up taking this back and getting a Vizio Chrom cast TV.

They never processed order. No way to get accurate update. Don’t buy online. Go to the store

Bought this in 2018 and it just took a dump today. Get a Samsung.

Recently purchased this TV on Black Friday for an awesome price. Beautiful picture. No problem with the stand or volume. The TV is "ultra thin" my first one was bent on the corner. Returned for new one with no problems. I would purchase another one.

TV setup was easy. Good size for the bedroom. Picture quality was good.

I bought this TV to replace my old Samsung and it definitely is worth the money. The build quality is fantastic. The screen is a great size and delivers a great lifelike picture for what you pay. It may not be top of the line, but it's amazing and fantastic colors. Some knock it because it doesn't have Android app capability, but it does have a good range of apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc) so can't really complain and that's what I need. The sound quality is great for being from the TV. Sony delivers again.

The picture quality is amazing no doubt about that but it only has a few app options and does not allow for any new app downloads heck doesn't even have PS VUE which is a Sony product it's lacking a lot in that department.

We purchased a Sony KD55720E HD TV a few years ago and it's by far the worst smart TV we've ever owned. In fact, it does not deserve the label "smart" at all. Apps are not available and when they are they often don't work properly. Prime example is the NBC News app. That app works great on our 2 Roku sticks but not on our KD55720E HD TV. Another issue is the remote. 50% of the time it does not respond or has a response so delayed that it’s annoying beyond... I’ve been restarting the TV either via a hard reset by disconnecting the power or via the TV settings. The TV is set for auto updates, but I still check manually. All the updates over the years have not resulted in any measurable improvements. If 0 stars was an option, I’d give this Sony KD55720E HD TV a minus 10. We will purchase another Roku stick for use with this TV and we will never even consider buying another Sony TV.

My first Sony, and couldn't be happier. Great picture, good features, easy to setup, and average sound system. Good value for the price.

This has the best gray uniformity for the price point out of any TV. Which means no dark spots. TCL, Vizio, Hisense, etc all have terrible dark spots in the corners. I couldn't stand to watch that all day ( I use my TV as a computer monitor as well ). So I found this Sony that is just about perfect. The TV stand is terribly flimsy and kind of cheap. It causes the TV to slightly lean back. If you are buying this to mount on a wall, go for it!

Picture is very nice for a sub 1k tv, motion matching is much better then any other tv in its price range making it very smooth, returned my samsung nu7100 because of that reason, much happier with this tv.

This is exactly what I want. Excellent HDTV 4K! Amazing picture and sound! Speechless and happy!

The 4K is picture perfect with my PS4 and, nothing I could ask for more.. Always with Sony!!!
