Great picture and so far everything is working. Really confusing remote and it took several attempts to get the Sony to scan for OTA channels. Had to go to setup anc change setting from cable to antenna. Once I understood how to scan, it found all the channels.

I love my new tv. It is very easy to operate with netflix, prime and other extra programs. The quality of the picture is phenomenal. I am so glad I made the purchase.....

Really great picture. Colors are outstanding. If you could block out everything left and right of the picture, you would feel like you were actually there in the scene.

I bought 2 of these on Black Friday and saved $400 per TV. The picture is crystal clear and the applications are very easy to access. Just be careful when mounting them to the wall and pay attention to the placement of the bracket on this TV. It's at the bottom. Most Tv's are right in the middle so it could mess with the placement of your wall bracket. My outlets don't show when looking straight on at it but as you get closer you can see the cover. I ended up painting the covers the same as the wall to hide them. Just be careful. Again, the picture is incredible and the refresh rate is perfect for sports.

Great picture, just the right size for our viewing. The Best Buy home consultant gave excellent advise and recommendations. Easy setup and it has a narrow profile.

The TV is very easy to setup & use. picture clarity is very good and sound is awesome. very happy with the product. well set home theater & TV for the holidays.

I read a lot of reviews on 65 "+ HDTV's and decided this Sony at the Best Buy price ( on sale) was the right choice for me. Very happy with it overall. Very clear and comes already loaded with lots of extras. Easiest set up, with cell phone and app !

We were looking for a great TV for family movie nights, and this one delivered. Originally went into Best Buy for another Sony (390), but after talking to the amazing sales staff we found that the processor on this TV was way better for sports and video games. Easy to hook up to our new Sony soundbar, existing BluRay, Xbox one. Love the centered base for sitting on a piece of furniture, too many models have switched to widely spaced feet that require large TV stands. Also, if you have two people that are in fair physical condition it is not too bad to lift. Very light for its size.

I've purchased 3 Vizio TV's and all of them had issues of some sort. First one it was lack of sound quality, the second one was a NOT so smart "smart TV" and finally the third one had the screen fading to a dark grey across most of the screen and it was only 21 months old and all Vizio would do about the issue was offer me a discount to purchase yet another one.. I visited BestBuy and looked at and talked with an employee about the Sony Smart TV's because for as long as I can remember I've not heard anything bad about any sony product. This TV IS ABSOLUTELY SMART and it plays all of my video content no matter if it's AVI, WMV, MP4, MPG, MPEG, DIVX... This TV plays all of them perfectly from my wireless connection to the TV from my Seagate NAS that I keep my movies on. I stream Netflix to the TV with no issues and my TV box connection from Uverse TV is a wireless receiver as well. I was using one remote for the old TV and one for the Uverse box and yet another remote for the NEOTV box I had to use to make that smart TV smart enough to play my videos. With the SONY remote control I use ONLY ONE remote... t's nice with single button clicks for Netflix too!! AND I got this Sony TV on sale for $1,000 which was an Excellent price for such a wonderful TV. Now I just want to see it last longer than 21 months to make this a winner - winner of a deal.

This is an outstanding value. You could spend much more and get a far lower quality. The images are stunning, and the controls/software are easy to use.

I had a 40' Sony Google TV and decided to upgrade it to 65'. After some research I decided to buy this TV over Samsung MU8000. Setting up the TV was easy. I liked the way that they designed the box. Once I turn the TV on, it checks for the OS update and updated itself to the latest version of OS. Picture quality of this TV is great right out of the Box. I did not have to do much to get a great picture out of this TV. My only complain about this TV is the Android OS which is too slow to navigate from one app to other and this is the only reason i am taking out a star from the rating. Even the in build chromecast is slow to cast my videos. I already got a Chromecast and casting through it seems faster for me. But, for the Price that I am paying for this kind of picture quality I am happy with my purchase.

This 65" Sony 8 series 4K is one of the best out there. Great picture, sound, ease of set up, a winner!!

Impressed with picture quality but operating systems lags. It’s slow. I thought the software update would fix it but still the same. Hoping a new update would solve the problem.

In my opinion Sony represents excellence in customer service and picture quality this particular model is no exception it has all of the best features and has one of the best pictures with the most realistic colors on the market. Some Might disagree with that statement but over saturated colors or higher contrast TVs do not make the TV better. Sony has had a reputation of excellence for years and is not to be overlooked by Samsung or LG . This particular set has satisfied me beyond my expectations. Android TV is a feature that some like in some down but make no mistake it offers a very feature rich television experience with access to the Google play store that has hundreds of apps to choose from. I’m extremely happy with my decision to purchase this TV over other brands in the new were 2018 models are only bette, but I’m sure you can get a great deal on the 850E with out any compromise of performance. This is one of the better TVs and it’s price point.

Very vivid color and great sound quality. Perfect in the living room and doesn't need to be turned up super loud for sound. Works good w/ Xbox One.

Very pleased with this purchase. Was actually interested in the Samsung MU8000 but the 2017 version was sold out at BB. Started researching the comparable 850 from Sony and seemed to be the same feature wise and was getting great reviews on the picture quality and the upscaling capability. Must say the picture is awesome! The 10% tilt back on the stand is definitely there but no big deal at all. Have pretty much straight on viewing in our living room so is a non issue. Have only had a couple weeks and so far so good. Got the Geek squad protection which was a no brainer based on previous reviews. Too much to spend and not have protection for a few years. Menu is a little odd but learning the android set up (we are iPhone people). Have not seen any issues in the corners either with any missing pixels or anything. Just a beautiful picture and enjoying. One thing I would like for the tv to tell me is WHEN am I watching 4K content? When you hit the picture button on the remote it always says 1080i. When you "assume" you have rented a 4K movie or something and hit the picture button nothing? How do you know? Again just getting to know this TV but loving it so far. Have had many Sony products over the years and this seems to be another example of a great product!

Tv build nicely, setting up is very easy. Sound quality suprisingly amazing. Picture quality is great. Love it and would recomend this to everyone.

If this tv is on your short list just buy it already. Great picture and features at an entry level price. You will not regret buying this tv.

I first purchased an LG j7700. It has blue bands, the blacks were gray/blue and the image was washed. I tried to adjust according to reviews but it was just not vibrant--I showed photos and the rep understood, so I returned it. The Best Buy rep recommended the Sony 850e. It was FANTASTIC. Vivid, deep blacks, fast--a big contrast to the LG. It cost $499 more (not as big a sale), but I obviously didn't pay "enough" the first time to get the 4k experience I expected. It was a good mix of features and price (not OLED, but still looks incredible).

I was shopping for a new TV to replace our 15 year old rear projection Tv and this was a great purchase! I’m happy that I didn’t go with the Black Friday TV that I was first looking at and spent a little more for a better TV. The interface is nice and love all of the options. The picture is amazing and I can’t wait until more media is available in 4k to take full advantage. The only complaint I have is that the TV can lag a bit when trying to switch between different apps and while using google voice. Other than that, I’m in love.
