Always works and is easy to use. Also has a useful set of audio effects. I link it to my computer, both for my online therapy business and to listen to audiobooks and streaming hi-res audio. I've been buying Yamaha receivers for over 40 years and I like this one better.

The sound through the speakers is satisfactory. The main feature missing is that there is no usb on the front of receiver. However, I am pleased with the Bluetooth connection. It is easy to connect with our devices. Our main reason for choosing a new receiver is the ability to switch imputs. Years ago, we bought a separate switch which was a piece of junk.

Very pleased with the system and love the Bluetooth capabilities and multiple inputs which offer great flexibility!!!

No different in this case . Good connectivity , delivering good quality sound and bass with total750w each channel with an out put of 145 w. No issues with blue tooth connection like i had with Denon . I returned denon in store , and bought this with a better offer from best buy Totally happy with it . Sony is always a reliable and trusted companyin electronics like toyota in auto -but still I dont know why media promoting Denon I would recommend sony.

This SONY unit was an “open box” item, which was in the original box in perfect condition. I’m very pleased. An added feature, which I did not have before, is Bluetooth built in. It’s cool to be able to sit down, open Spotify and listen to my playlists on my stereo.

The sound is just beautiful! The Bluetooth feature is awesome and it allows me to listen to Spotify. I completed the set with a subwoofer and speakers.

Connections were easy and having the unit calibrate with the included microphone makes it a great. The sound is crisp and clear and the remote makes it easy to switch between devices (DVD, Media Player, and Tuner). I had an older Sony A/V unit that worked for many years but this new receiver comes packed with many great features for the price. The unit has a AMP Menu that has many setting to control outputs including pass thru and more.

If theatrical bass sound is what u want this is it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried several soundbar/sub systems and was ready to go w/the JBL 500 soundbar/ sub system but this blowed that out the water this is the way to go...you'll get low level bass at volume 23 and this thing goes all the way up to 100 i paired it with a 10in sony sub and a pair of Sony book shelf speakers & got that theatrical sound i was searching for!

Excellent receiver for Bose speakers

Definitely gives my Bose speakers the power they need to give me a great surround sound. 1 single wire using the arc hdmi to my Samsung TV is all I needed. Setup was easy and great value for what you are getting.

One for my home in Washington and one for my home in Arizona and they are amazing. They link up perfectly with my smart tv, my phone and with my ps5. So many options.
