I only gave 4 stars because it doesn't fit as well in my hand as my previous remote; however, after using the remote for a few weeks I have gotten more used to its feel in my hand. The rubber grip strip on the side of the remote is an excellent feature which prevents the remote from easily slipping out of your hand. The remote is extremely programmable and I like that I can make any button on the remote be anything I want it to be.

I love it. It works perfectly with not only my television, but also my Blu-ray player, and stereo. It nice to only have to use one control for all those products. Plus I found it easy to set up and work, trust me I am garget impared

Great remote. Easy to setup. Intuitive placements of buttons. Learning mode for additional programmed features mirroring original remotes. With a lot of Sony equipment this remote is a must to simplify control.

Bought this remote to replace my sony tv remote. It worked right out of the package. It's close to the one that it is replacing, although some of the function buttons are smaller and appear less durable. Otherwise a great remote.

However, for some reason the macro buttons do not remember the last device in the chain. For example, if you program to turn on a TV, amp and cable box, in that order, the unit will not operate the cable box right after that. Rather it will operate whatever device was last used. You then need to also select the device (cable box or dvd player). I have a previous version of this remote, and it "remembers" the last device in the macro chain.

When DirecTV couldn't control my soundbar, blu ray player, TV and DirecTV box with their controller, I researched for a device that would. This Sony control does them all. Fairly simple to set up and very easy to use.

Ok learning remote but a little complex for learning for signal to signal from existing remote and would be good to have backlit keys

Works great. Setup is easy, just a bit uncomfortable for my hand(a big large). Works like a dream once setup(which is easy)

Able to setup remote with all my electronics. The learning feature is great. Can assign any button with any function if you have old remote.

I bought this to replace my broken Blu-ray remote (all my components are Sony but other remotes didn't work with Blu-ray). Was very happy I didn't have to program the remote for it to work with Other Sony things. Because it's a universal remote, the layout, functionality and labeling isn't consistent with all other Sonys but it's good. Also controlled my cable box without programming it. Video controls are either not as good or as clear as what comes with Sony players (not sure if I just haven't figured out or not) . Overall; it's a Sony.

Had this remote before. Some of the buttons stopped working after a few years. Was very happy with remote and the price

This remote works better then my cable providers remote. Easy to set up and more equipment to control, recommended.

My sony remote just randomly broke down. Bought this as a replacement worked great. The only draw back is that it doesn't have the Netflix shortcut.

The remote was very easy to set up. We like it better than the much more complicated model we replaced with it. It is simple to use and very durable. The cats knock it around and it hasn't broken yet!

My remote stopped working and this one was perfect. I only had to put batteries in it and it was already connected to my Sony tv. Got the replacement plan also, just in case.

I like the remote, it was easy to set up and use. The only issue I have is I am unable to change input devices with this remote.

Nice remote. Found out about it online in a forum. Solved my problem of having to use two remotes. Programmed for both Comcast DVR and Olevia TV

Works great with audio receiver, but not with DVD player.

Works on my Sony Bravo and Blu ray player. Does not work on my Sony DVD/VHS PLAYER. Bummer for me.

Lost my tv and DVD remotes in my recent move. So happy to have all in one remote. Easy to use and I don't have to go crazy looking for separate controllers
