Works okay with Sony TVs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This remote works great with Sony TVs but my cable box is controlled by a TiVo unit and I find myself having to point the remote control at the TiVo box instead of the TV and that can drive you little bit crazy hopefully I'll get used to it.

Great universal remote

It is capable of learning IR codes from your original remote. It also has four system control buttons, which can be pretty handy. The only bad part is if you have kids in the house and they drop the remote in hardwood floors, it starts to malfunction.

Excellent product and staff help
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went directly to the department, explained my problem with previous TV Remote purchase and the staff member immediately took me to the exact remote I needed with all the buttons I needed. The previous one did not have a sleep button. I trust Best Buy and it's employees, I travel from a distance to go to this particular store in the Bird Cage location.

Great Remote at a Phenomenally Low Price

After a week thinking it would show up decided to get a Universal remote. I guess the $200-300 remotes may do more. But for just a few dollars this does everything and more than I need it to do. It works on every brand not just Sony. I did find the DVR remote, but I continue to use this universal as it is just easier.
