Somewhat useful but limited Remote

It not only works on my receiver, but also the Samsung TV & DVD player. I can't figure out how to connect it to my Xfinity box, though. Neither Comcast nor Xfinity are listed under the available cable box/dvr types. Frustrating.

Unfortunately, this remote is not even close to what I was looking for despite the information given in the description and on the packaging. Basically, you would do better to use your original equipment remotes since you will constantly have to remember to push the button for the piece of equipment BEFORE you try to do anything. For example: If you have a surround sound system and want to change the channel and volume you have to push TV or CBL to change the channel and then push AMP to adjust the volume. My old Sony could be programmed to remember that the channel was controlled with the CBL button and volume by the AMP button and automatically knew what to do depending on whether I was entering a channel or changing the volume.
