I purchased this remote to combine al my remotes into one unit.It was so esy that I PURCHASED 2 MORE.

This is a very nice universal remote due to the quality of the item and the ease of programming.

Easy to pair with all electronics I needed it too. Easy to use and switch between devices.

I enjoy having the same remote for all my TVs. I am familiar with it and can use it in the dark from bed. No need to turn lights on. I have one for each TV/room in my house. At the "Deal of the Day" price, it was a good deal and I standardized my TVs with this remote. If you have a Sony TV, there's no programming necessary tho a detailed owner's manual is included for reference.

Great remote to replace 3 others, was already compatible with all of my other sony devices

Before this remote I had at least three that I had to keep track of the T.V., sound system, and amazon fire t.v. But now I can use one and not have to worry about not being able to find the remote I need. It does take a bit to set it up/program to your needs but once you do you’re good to go. The size takes a bit to get used to as well, it’s a bit larger than a regular remote.

This is an awesome remote. I use the remote for a Sony TV and a DirecTV HD receiver and have not encountered any issues with it to date. I love the learning function, which can steal controls from any other remote, eliminating the need for multiple remotes.

I've programmed professional remotes (> $200) and those < $30, and this is best unit I've found under $30.00. I would like to see more buttons for things like PIP and all on/off, but all-in-all this is a good remote for its price. Also, since the device buttons are backlit when pressed, it would be nice if the remote had backlighting for main keys like volume, numbers, power and channel up/down. Even with these negs, I'm still happy with my purchase.

Easy to use. Have a Sony Blu ray player. It automatically worked without any extra step. Able to control other electronics from different brands. Using learning capability was easy.

I cannot say enough about this remote; it did what was expected, and more. I have my portable fireplace, inside lights, and outside lights also programmed on it Set up and "learning" was a breeze ! Great product and I recommend it :) tg, CT

This remote is much better than I expected it to be. The size and placement of the buttons (especially the volume and channel) are just about perfect. I use this on the TV and BD Player that I watch while using my treadmill and it makes controlling them so much easier without fumbling with the two smaller original remotes. I may get one more for my regular TV and equipment.

The remote was very easy to program. The instructions were very clear!

Relatively easy set up process. According to Sony, this is a 2010 model, so some device codes may not be listed, however between the code search function and the original remote clone process, device control can be established. Only draw-back is having to hit the individual device buttons to switch remote to control them (i.e. TV to external sound source, back to TV, etc.). Great for use in spare rooms, or limited number of components configurations. Would not recommend for main Home Theatre set-ups.

Given the price difference between a higher end universal remote and this budget remote, it is a good buy. You can't pair devices, but it did reduce the number of remotes required to control multiple devices.

Had been looking at the Logitech remotes when I came across this Sony one. The reviews were great and outside of a fancy display it seemed like it did everything the more expensive LT remotes did. Got it and it has been everything I hoped. The learning feature is what really makes this awesome. Being able to program buttons makes this a home run.

It does the job. Cheap and functional. Even does my Apple TV.
