Purchased this to replace the remote that came with my LG OLED TV. Also use this to access my Apple TV. No problem so far. Just need a basic remote with keypad to change channels easily on remote.

This is a very good control. I use it to control my tv, blu ray as well as my other tv and my directv. Though the package is misleading. The buttons do not all light up. Only certain button light.

After 4 Logitech remotes over the last 10 years, I went back to basics and this remote does what I need. Yes, I have to individually turn on and off components but the Logitech macro didn't always work anyway. The learning feature came in handy because one of my components did not have a code. You cans set the amp to control volume regardless of which component is currently selected so no need to change back to amp each time you want to change the volume. At the price you can not beat this remote .

Since my dogs have acquired a taste for the more expensive Logitech Harmony remotes (they've eaten four of them in the last year), we decided to go with something a little cheaper after their latest binge. Though the fancier Logitech remotes are easier overall to program/use, this one gets the job done just as well, although it would be better if it was compatible with Apple TV. Takes some time to set up, but once you've got it figured out it is easy enough to use.

I always choose Sony brand items. It a well known brand with good quality. I used this item for a gift and the person whom I gave this gift to was very satisfied with the functions of this remote. It could be used to control many devices with just one remote. excellent.

This is one of the few remotes that I have found that will work with flatscreen televisions specially Best Buy's private brand.

The remote is nice and durable and looks nice. It takes some time and reading of the manual to program, but once done, it can control any device - even ones that don't have device codes. You can also program it to control the sound on your receiver while the remote is set on the DVD or cable box so you don't have to keep switching back and forth between devices. I have 5 different devices and only use this single remote to control all of them now.

I should say that I bought this product in particular because all of the electronics I purchase are from Sony: LCD TV, BD Player, Surround Sound A/V Amp. All Sony devices functioned well out of the box. I programmed a few of the AV functions to special keys and it worked great. I also added a cable box to the mix. It was easy to set up and I assigned custom functions for that device as easily as I did for the Sony devices. If you don't need a graphical interface to operate a device I strongly recommend you purchase this remote. At less than 1/4 of the cost of the GUI devices, it's very capable and easy to use.

We bought this remote when we were setting up a home theatre system. This remote easily programs to all the devices and let's you control everything from one remote.

Works well for my ProScan Tv/cable box combo...but wouldn't control my Sony receiver that I use for surround sound.

For the money, it is well worth it. I bought mine on sale but would have paid full price.

This universal remote will work on dozens of devices, even my DirecTV box, with good range. Set up is easy enough, but I had to download instructions because they didn't come in the package. Despite that it's a Sony remote, it does not work on Playstation 3.

It is pretty big, but it does what it's supposed to do. Simple to set up, haven't attempted to program special buttons. Hopefully that works out just as well.

I got tired of how finicky my Logitech Harmony remotes could be, so I decided to go "screen-less" and get a traditional multi-device remote. Overall, I'm happy and don't plan on going back to the Harmony remotes. This took a little while to set up (although very easy) and once all was complete, the remote functions beautifully across five devices. Recommended for those who don't want the overkill of a Harmony.

We lost the remotes for a TV and several machines at the office. We also wanted to replace a couple others and this 8 function learning remote fit the bill perfectly.

Nothing fancy about this remote I ended up returning it for a smart tv remote one that would work with my Xbox 1 if that matters to you don't get this.

almost got all my devices remotely controlled. didn't work with dish network sat box. had to learn a few simple function buttons and got it going.

I bought the device to replace my remote on my Sony CD player. Since both the player and remote were Sony I assumed it would be an easy set up and have similar buttons to my original remote. It did not. But it did work and I programmed my tv, cable box, DVD player and CD player. The range is really impressive. I can use the remote at 25 yes. Overall I believe I got a quality product.

Good remote. Easy to program. Learning function works well for a decent price. Only downside no backllight

This remote is so powerful, you really don't have to point it. It works from further away than any other remote I've used. I can program individual buttons by learning from other remotes.
