I have a TV, Blue Ray player, DVD recorder, Cable box, and Stereo tuner for my sound system. All different brands and I was able to make this remote perform most of the functions on all of them, now instead of five remotes sitting on my table there is one. It's Great!!!

This Sony remote is an excellent choice for home theater setups. It control my cable box, Blu-Ray player, Television and my receiver. Great pickup!

The remote went out on my small Toshiba tv with DVD Player stopped working and I couldn't find a name brand replacement remote, so I decided to try this one. So far, it works completely! The only problem I had was setting it up; but once I read the directions on how to make it mirror the original remote's settings it was all good.

This is a great universal remote! It is very easy to set up and is well worth the money. Before, I had to use 4 remotes (Ent System, Insignia Tv, Olevia Tv, Blu ray player) but now its just the 1 and it works great! It has easy instructions and is very easy to program the remote/buttons to your liking. I definitely recommend this!

The Up/Down Volume and Channel buttons on my Sony RM-YD029 remote were not working, so I was looking for a replacement. I found a Sony RMVLZ620 “learning” remote at a local Best Buy that seemed to cover most, if not all, of the functions of my broken remote, so I purchased it. So far it works great on my TV “out of the box” and provides all the functionality that I typically use. It can also be set up to operate up to eight different devices. If necessary, in the future, I can use it on other Sony and Non-Sony electronics products, filling in missing functions using the learning feature. It seems to have a lot of capability for a low price. Hopefully it will prove to be more durable than the original Sony remote. My only quibble is with the placement of the number keys on the lower portion of the remote. This makes keying in a channel number difficult to do with one hand – but this is not a major issue. It connects to almost everything but my speaker system.

I have a Chinese amp that I couldn't pair with any of my other remotes. Three remotes later I discover this one. I'll never use another remote again. I've paired my entire living room to this sole remote.

Since almost all of my equipment is from Sony this universal remote was simple to set up and use. But I do have a non-standard cable set-top box and it was easily programmed as well.

One of the best investments I have ever made for my home theater! The remote is solid with durable build quality and it feels right in the hand thanks to its slight curved design on the back. With its learning function I was able to finally retire four remotes as it learned extra commands only available through the original component remote. I was also able to program a consecutive procedure that will power on my DirectTV DVR, AV Receiver to the right input, and then my TV with one button push effectively eliminating any need for trigger cables/module. Pressing the same button again turns all my equipment off without the need to turn off each component individually, I love it!
