The service has been great despite some very small hiccups. The TV itself has been amazing. When I viewed the smaller version in store I just couldn’t believe the picture quality. I normally have buyers regret with large purchases so I rarely make them. No regrets here. To me this is an investment because movie nights are special. Watching nature documentaries on it is incredible. Very happy with this purchase.

The blacks are deep and the whites are clean and vibrant. No hiccups or issues getting this setup with a very extensive surround system. Yes, it's a pretty penny, but it's worth it.

Because of the recommendation for distance (for immersive quality) when watching a 4K, I actually thought that this TV would be too small for the room if I sat all the way on the other side. I was definitely wrong about that! Aside from the outstanding picture the TV produces, I am very in love with the sound that is produced. At this moment, I am working my way towards getting a real surround sound system, that may feature five speakers, with the television operating as the center channel. I seriously have to recommend the MM700 Mantle Mount for this TV (if you have a real fireplace). Having the flexibility to have the TV hoisted above everything, then being able to pull it 27 inches for more comfortable viewing is just as important to me as having an enormous TV of this quality!

Clarity, colors--1,000,000 of them, depth, and the sound ain't bad either. Five speakers built into the display: Unheard of! The sound could fill a stadium, but it would run everyone out of my mancave. The picture draws humans into the screen like a beautiful person (see what I did there?) draws others in close. 83 inch diagonal measure screen allows a viewer to see all the total picture.

My husband has some vision impairment and can see this tv much better. Since the tv won’t connect as the center speaker with our Bose system we just rely on the sound from the tv, but it’s just as good as our surround sound. All in all it is a great tv, even though it’s so expensive.

Worth every dollar. Just make sure you update the software from tv so you can get the best picture quality. Also once a year do the panel refresh a takes about an hour to do but worth it to maintain tv for years to come. I would also recommend getting a power surge and newest Apple TV 3 generation 128 gb So you can have best viewing experience.

The picture just blew the others off the chart. I was comparing this to the LG C1 and it was somewhat less expensive but I could not get away from the dramatic difference in the picture. It is like being in a movie theatre and I am so glad I went ahead and got the Sony A90J. The Geeks hung it (free with the amazing tech package) and glad they did as our previous wall bracket was not right for this tv. It's perfection!

Dark colors really shine now more than before. I would have got an OLED years ago, but the size of the TVs available were to small for me. I am now only going to buy OLED TVs from now on. Some might scare away from the price, but you for sure get what you pay for. Watching 4K movies now is like we never really saw them before. Worth it. Buy it. If your unsure go see it on display in the store and compare the non OLED next to it and you will see the big difference.

Yes its an evo panel to spit lgs word otherwise. everything pops so much more. colors are so much more vivid. this coming form an lg c9. the picture looks 3d with out being 3d do the crazy contrast. the xr processor preserves color volume to its finest. The panel uniformity on the 83 is so much better then other sizes. I started with a 65 when they were first releases had terrible grid effect/ dse, so it was either pick another tv or take a chance with the 83 and im glad everytime i turn it on did. i was very hesitant about the size difference but something about the a90j makes it settle in very fast. which is odd because the c9 seemed large at times. the 65 a90j seemed small. the 83 a90j just fits right!
