Best budget TV Ever!!! Super Bright AMAZING picture quality!! Beware it is on the Heavy side!! But still Amazing!!!

I had the LG 75nano90 (2021 version) and decided to upgrade. I walked in and wasn’t too sure if I wanted one just yet, but this TV was on sale for $1999. And it felt like a good deal. The picture quality is noticeably better than the LG, and the LG had great quality. I am no expert reviewer; but I do know some things about TV’s. This is not an OLED killer, but it is an outstanding Nano/Quantum style TV. Yes, you can detect some blooming, but far less than the LG with its 32 zone array. This has a 100 zone array. So it makes a great difference, but the magic doesn’t come for that. It comes from the “ Cognitive Processor XR”. It really helps bring out the colors, and the deep blacks, and crisp whites. I hope my simple review helps someone. It’s worth it, if you aren’t looking to spend 5-10k on a proper OLED of this size. The sound quality is great and you can even use the speakers as a center channel with you use certain Sony audio equipment! However I have a full Yamaha/B&W/Monolith 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos system. So I don’t use the onboard audio. It is a very balanced compromise of size and vale with outstanding picture quality for the money!

Had this TV for a couple months. Very pleased with the build quality and picture. Purchased on sale which I believe is an appropriate price looking at other TV's out there. Honestly, I personally can't tell the difference between this UHD LED vs the OLED version. I mean, unless you are watching true 4K content, which rules out BlueRays, DVD's, and like all TV, then what does it really matter? Regardless, this TV rocks and for $2k, it's a no-brainer.

Awesome TV, dude! Sony's colors and upscaling totally crush other brands. Solid build, too! My family room's super bright, and its brightness handles it perfectly. Glare's not a problem either. Grabbed the 85-inch x90l this Thanksgiving. I was flip-flopping between it and the x93l (the mini-LED anti-glare one), but I'm stoked with this choice.

I own two LG Oled TV's a 65 inch and a 55", I will not claim to be an expert on TV picture, however I do have a keen eye for what constitutes good picture color, clarity, and overall viewing experience. I am very partial to OLED due to the rich colors, contrast, and black. I never thought a full array TV could impress me. I am thoroughly impressed by the ability of this TV with all content. I've now owned it for 2 weeks, I was concerned 85" would be to large, I am now very grateful I didn't opt for the 75" The 85" is in an entirely different league. I am a Sony TV fan once again! Sure the black isn't the same as an OLED black, but this TV's image is impressive. I now understand what people mean when referencing Sony's image processing. At the cost of this TV in an 85" with what it offers, I think it is a good buy. I have no regrets, and I am a tough critic.

Great TV - 4k bluray, Apple TV, PS5 120hz all work well and picture looks much more natural than my 2019 Samsung QLED. Best Buy did a great install and hid wires behind the wall. Only thing that is mildly irritating is some blooming with white text on black backgrounds. Paired with Sonos Arc, Sub, and Era 300’s.

I have been looking at the Sony 85" tv for six months and finally pulled the plug. This is one of the best tvs on the market for $1999. I looked at the LG oled and I think this picture and colors are just as good. If you are looking to buy this tv you won't be disappointed. Thank you Best Buy for the smooth delivery service. You have a customer for life!!!!

Not quite as good of a picture as an oled tv, but pretty close and a lot less than an oled price. Very good viewing angle, with a great picture from just about every direction. Sports and action scenes look crisp with no perceptible motion blur. The picture is vibrant with the hdr, but still looks true to life. This tv is not as bright as similarly priced competitors, so it's best in a room that is less bright. The overall picture quality is by far much better than the competition in this price range. The smart features are very good, it's a Google os, so that could be a negative if you are not a Google person, but lots of apps and very expandable. Overall, a great cinema and gaming tv at a very reasonable price.

Its one of the best high mid range large TVs. The panel is crisp and clear thanks to sonys amazing processor and algorithms. They are unparalleled and frankly blows the competition out of the water. Its 120hz display with VRR for faming and goes really good with PS5. The colors are amazing. Nothing comes close to it. Brightness is really good but some competition do offer more brightness not that you will notice. The only thing that i think it lags in is motion smoothness in SD content. Its not as great as other competition. But it does not matter as you barely feel it. Overall i will givr it a solid 4.8/5.

Been wanting a big screen tv for a while and researching as well. When this Sony came out I knew this was the one. Great tv at a greater price. Thinking of getting another one for my game room. Very satisfied.

Weve had this tv for a little over a month now. We got the 85". Watching movies is amazing. Playing video games, like call of duty, the last of us, dragon ball sparking zero, and many more have been a blast. The voice control through google is absolutely the coolest feature. " hey google turn on" " hey google turn off" hey google open ( app of your choice)" . The sound from the tv is perfect for pur living room and does not require any additional sound bars etc. i have absolutely no complaints about this tv. Would 10000% buy this again.

What a Picture!! We are loving this TV. I had bought the TCL QM8 Mini-LED QLED, But when this tv dropped in price, I could not pass it up, I don tpaly much game to take advantage on the 144Hz, the sony has a Refresh Rate of 120Hz. I dont even uses that, its alway set to "Movie" mode, I can not stand the soap opera effect on ANY thing I watch. I liked this im getting my mom one. One thing I dont like about this TV, is that you can Not put the feet any closer then 61" my TV stand is 60", I was not about spend more money on a new stant, so I came up with my own solution(see pictures).

This is an outstanding TV. The family loves to watch movies in this beautiful screen. Sony never disappoints.

Great Image - Best TV I ever owned, BUT can anyone explain the "mystery smear marks" on my screen, see photos? I provided a 4-star rating but may change to 5-stars if issue is resolved. I have a new (December 2023) 85" XR 85X90L that I purchased from Best Buy and notice what appears to be cleaning lines/smears that I cannot remove or clean, possibly behind the outer screen surface, see attached photos. I only notice the marks when the screen is black (or TV is off) in a dark room, and a light is reflecting off a glass patio door opposite the TV. I spoke with Best Buy and they replaced the TV with the same model, but I still noticed the marks; original purchase Black Friday November 2023, replacement December 27. I also contacted Sony and the agent referred me to an authorized servicer, but they could not diagnose the issue due to time of day the lines would appear (before sunrise or after sunset). Can someone explain the "smear marks" (see attached photos). Possibly the anti-reflection/glare coating feature? Regardless the image looks great and does not appear to be compromised, but I want to make sure. Is this an issue that Sony should investigate and issue a recall or a corrective action plan.

I have 8 months with this tv and have amazing graphics; I have and Samsung qled 8k and this Sony bravía have better pictures and Colors; the sound it’s por but if you combine with the Sony bar 9 you will have a game changing; my only issue it’s don’t want turn on so i called Sony and they fixed but they required from me remove the tv from the wall tv before the Service; this one it’s a 85 inch; bad for Sony requesting this; also i paíd 2400 usd last year; today it’s 1000usd more cheap

Great color, picture is truly polarizing with xfinity cable. I definitely recommend quality for this sized tv rather than get the run of the mill $1200 85 incher.

What can I say? I love this tv. Great picture and features. And all the streaming services apps that I use are loaded on here.
