Usually, if you want to charge your Dualshock 4 controller, you need to plug it into a PS4 and leave the console on or in rest mode. With this, you can completely ignore that and conveniently charge two controllers at the same time.

Much needed product for my controllers, works well

I like the looks and performance of the charger and the fact that it turns its self off when charging is complete. However, I don't really care for the old school method to attach the controller to the charger. You have to line it up with the charging points and push down to make it click in. Maybe I'm just a little clumsy but I fumble it off the points half the time and will wind up hitting the PS4 button which turns the PS4 back on. But overall looks cool and performs great.

This charger does not run off Playstation power so controllers can charge while system is powered off. Made for Playstation Move controllers but comes with adapter for regular PS4 controllers. Adapters don't seat snug and simple bumps cause loose connections thus no charge.

It is a useful way to keep your controllers charged. However you need to hunt down if you put the controllers all the way in. other wise it will not charge. the controller light turns up orange. overall I like it way better then using a cable.

We received this as a free item from Best Buy with the purchase of the PS4 system. While nothing is ever better than free, is when it is free and works well. This item has room for two controllers and works well with the new dual shock controllers.

I always had problems getting my Dual Shock 4 controller with a rubber skin to connect to my old charger. I have no problem getting this charger to work with all of my DS4's. It also doubles as a PS Move charger. Great price for a handy product.

I bought this product because it was discounted when purchasing a Sony PS4 controller. I assumed it was manufactured by a company other than Sony, so I had low expectations for it. However, when I discovered that it indeed was made by Sony, I was surprised at the design. Granted, it originally was designed for the Move controllers, and it probably works well with those. However, Sony clearly kluged something together to make it work for the DualShock controllers, and in my opinion it does not live up to Sony standards. The controllers seem to be hanging by a thread on the stand, and they almost literally are, as they are supported primarily by the tiny micro-USB connector. I am essentially afraid to touch it, and I handle the connections/disconnections like I was handling fine crystal. On the positive side the charging appears to work well, although I have not yet timed it. But, I certainly cannot recommend this product to others.

We were surprised when we received this charger as it was packaged in a PS3 box inside the PS4 box! But they had a good idea. It comes with 2 adapters that fit into the charger to convert it for PS4 controllers. This chager doesn't take up much space on our tabletop as it charges and stores our PS4 controllers. I gave it a 4 only because sometimes the adapter pulls out of the base, but you just push it back in.

This makes having a fully charged controller very easy. Works great and stays out of the way charging the wireless controller without running the cord to the station. The included adapter lets you use it on both PS2 and PS3.

I bought this charger for my husband and he really loves it! It is so much easier to charge the controllers now. The only weird part is that the product must have been made for another product but just added adapters to fit the current play station controllers. It was in a second box or original box inside the PlayStation 4 one as seen as above. Other than that, it is a great product!

Good easy way to charge my ps4 controller but also my ps3 move controllers

I haven't tested it on my PlayStation 3 controllers but the base is from the PlayStation move, a defunct add on for the PlayStation 3. It charges both PlayStation 4 and move controllers as the controllers simply plug into the base of the other. I would suggest it for anyone who has both accessories. If you do not I wouldn't suggest it unless you must have first party accessories. I merely own it because a buy one get one promotion and am happy with it's performance as it is the only charging base that charges from the correct port, the charges actually seem to be faster and hold longer in addition. It just doesn't work as a great base for storage. So pluses and minuses 4 out of 5.

The Playstation move controllers fit perfectly. It charges in a few hours. Also has adapters to charge the Playstation 4 controllers. Can charge a maximum of 2 controllers at once.

Yes, it's a repackaged PS3 charger. BUT, it does a perfect job. Adding the adapter to the PS4 controller is super simple, and it doesn't get in the way of using the controller. It's nice to be able to charge 2 controllers at once, without having to have USB cables come off of the PS4 itself.

Pros: Can be used to charge dualshock 3 & dualshock 4 controllers. Cons: Requires using an included adapter that falls off the controller too easily. Difficult to get the adapter engaged into the charging station sometimes.

This is a great little dock that is convenient for charging & storing controllers. The adapters that plug into the dock are a little tricky & pop out easily if not inserted properly. Other than that, I think its a great product. Better than having to connect to the system with wires.

This Was free so I thought it is a great deal. You cannot have too many chargers. Portable compact unit that is user-friendly

These chargers do the job, only the adaptors fit kind of loose into the controlers. As well as the adaptors hang up in the charging station. However they definitely serve their purpose & work great!
