At $39.99 on sale, this was a no-brainer as it gives me my 4th and final PS4 controller and adds the PC/Mac wireless dongle for use on computers... but that last part isn't as great as it sounds. Sony only intends the controller to be used with PS Now streaming or remote play. To be fair, I do use remote play, but I wouldn't mind being able to play Steam games with this controller as well. That said, Valve is adding controller support via Steam, but you'll have to program the button functions, like with the Steam controller, compared to XB360/One controllers that "Just work" out of the box on most titles. Anyway, nice deal, just be aware what you're getting with the "starter kit" in terms of PC/Mac support.

Provided the regular price of a single DualShock 4, this is a great buy. You get a new version of DualShock 4, which has slightly longer battery life, front facing LED bar and wired communication ability, along with a dongle in a single box. I personally don't use the dongle that much because I mainly use the DS4 to play PC games with DS4Windows. But if you use remote play, this is a must have because it enables all features including colored LED and speaker.

I bought this to use on both my PS4 and PC. It works great and got it at the awesome price of $40. WINNING!

Comes with a pic adapter which is easy enough to use or you can just cable in the adapter. Works well on windows 10. The controller is a standard newer type of PS4 controller. Works great for PS4 remote play on occasion - it's intended function. Awful as a pic controller. The mappings are not obvious and all over the place. Definitely not an excellent pic gamepad for pic games like the 360 gamepad. But perfect for what it is advertised for.

My controller from my original Console bundle lasted me a couple years. Over that time though, the right trigger mechanism "broke", causing it to change the sensitivity. I purchased this controller because it is the new controller model, which they changed the trigger mechanisms, the lightbar and the sticks rubber. The starter kit was an added bonus to the purchase. I love my new controller and I'm glad I got it at a great price from Best Buy!

You would think that you would not need an adapter to use a dualshock on a PC, but this is still the case. If you prefer a controller for some PC games, then this what you are probably looking for. I bought this mostly because I needed a new PS4 controller and it was cheaper than a regular dualshock, while it was on sale. The extra functionality on my PC is a just a bonus for me. That being said, I have not had any problems with it yet.

Needed another dualshock controller for our playstation 4 and for 10 dollars more picked up this one with a usb stick to use with windows 10 pc games. The USB stick sold separately that allows the dualshock be used with the PC is normally $20. Unfortunately, most steam games don't know how to use the playstation controller...Steam is allegedly working on this, but probably not useable with stream games. it does work with other pc games.

I've always prefer the xbox 360 controller over the PS3 controller, but Sony outdid themselves with the PS4 controller. I love this controller and use it for most of the games I play on my PC which would require a controller. This is the new version of the PS4 controller with the little "LED line" on the trackpad. However one thing I need to complain about is the LED lighting. The colors aren't as great as the original PS4 controller.

I occasionally stream my PS4 to my PC by remote play, but I got tired of re-pairing the controller each time. This bundle is a great value - you get the newest PS4 controller with visible LED bar on top and the wireless adapter. Both worked great for me right out of the box. The wireless receiver has a blue LED that's constantly pulsing when the controller's turned off, which is a little annoying, but not enough to lower my rating.

This is a great value, especially if you use Remote Play from your tablet or desktop! And as a bonus, you get the newer Dualshock 4 with the light bar on top of the touchpad!

I got this on sale for $39.99, which is an amazing deal. The DS4 is the best controller to date.

I purchased this item for the Controller and was only marginally interested in the ability to stream my PS4 games to my PC. After setting up the remote play function on my PC I was amazed at how quick and easy it is to play my PS4 content on my PC screens. This opened up a whole new world for me as I could continue playing my PS4 when the kiddo's or wife wanted to use the TV. The only gripe that I have is that I have yet to find a way to turn off the remote play controller so after I'm done using it the battery will drain where I have to remember to recharge it before I start up my next gaming session.

Newest revision of the Dualshock, and the usb hub works perfectly for my PC. Recommended for PC gamers who want to use the Sony controller of if you want to play PS Now on your PC.

Great price for a PS4 Controller. With the adapter I can use it with my Raspberry Pi too!

Great accessory to have for the PS4. The pack comes with a bluetooth dongle and the controller. The only part to remember is that when pairing the device, the dongle has to physically be pressed against the USB slot. The dongle has no physical buttons on it to pair, so you have to press the dongle against the USB slot and you'll feel the dongle slide, then blink. Great accessory to have, highly recommended!

Classic DualShock, can't go wrong. I use this with my Raspberry Pi gaming setup. It worked right out of the box and is perfect for emulating PSX games.

Nothing crazy special besides the USB dongle. Nice for remote play and psnow on computer. Was even cheaper than just getting a regular ps4 controller

It's a PS4 controller. It's the new model. It works well on the PC and on the PS4 as a backup controller when a friend comes over. I was able to pair it to the PC quickly with the USB adapter. I'm mainly using it for emulation and it works well with most of the emulators I've tried it on. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless PC controller.
