    Got this "geek squad refurbished"... well, they weren't lying. It's beat up, dinged on the corners, deep gash on the frame (top and side) and came wrapped in bubble-wrap only. Had a cheap USB-C cable and an iPhone charger... So it's going back. Buy with caution, IMO.

    Really happy with this deal of a Refurb XZ1 Compact. The phone came in a very informal box with the OEM Sony charger but is in otherwise Like-New condition. I registered it on Sony's website and it still has 9 months of warranty left (though not sure they'll honor it). Picture is showing the relative size of the Compact compared to my wife's Essential Phone. The 960 FPS camera is fun. Dual front-facing speakers are nice. Non-functional fingerprint reader (as expected) in the USA is pretty lame. Sony adds some extra apps, but most are able to be deleted, disabled, or useful.

    I hadn't return this item due to no fault of Best Buy. On my 10th day of ownership, the phone established lines on the camera screen and the screen became glitchy. Loved the device and was upset about returning it.
