So much better than the standard battery that is included with the video camera. Lasts a long time especially if you like to zoom in and out a lot.

We bought this battery, fully charged it and took it on a week long trip. The battery indicator said it had 3 1/2 hours. We used it from several times during the day over the course of that week. I think it was actually more than 3 1/2 hours! I never recharged it, as I was determined to see just how much it lasted. And it did last a long time!
