||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer using my camera manufacturer's (Sony) battery instead of generic brands as chargers and batteries can be hit or miss. This battery is well constructed and ideal as the battery fits snug with the appropriate Sony charger and lasts long for filming 1080P 24 frames on my Sony Alpha 7II full frame camera. Obviously, anyone filming knows you need to buy additional batteries for back ups on your shoots. These batteries do the job and hold their charge efficiently.

Its OEM, do not buy elsewhere, other places offer a similar battery at half the price with disappointing results. I tried buying these from Amazon but there a very lengthy delay, so looked for other places to purchase from. BestBuy is online, who knew - sorry guys but I didn't. Ordered and received within 2 -3 days. Was informed of delivery every step of the way too, same price as Amazon AND free delivery! So if I need anything else electronic I'll come here.

Best travel size camera with pro features

Anyway I would definitely recommend hobbyist or pro photographers. It's amazing size makes easier to carry around and shoot but my only concern is the battery life. It just drains out quickly and I would suggest an extra batteries. Hope Sony improves the battery life or supply more than 2 batteries. It would definitely help. Thank you Sony for making such a wonderful camera.

So I bought this battery after my last one went missing but it was a blessing in disguise. My last one was a generic brand and the battery life didn’t last long. It was very frustrating. I have had no issues with the battery life on this one. I have been able to go a full day taking photos without having to worry about it dying on me. I totally recommend for everyone.
