Good budget (inexpensive) blue ray disc player.

Actually, my only complaint is that there seems to be a slight time lag between pressing a button, and the corresponding action onscreen. For instance, at the homepage when I press the "right" direction number, there is a time lag until the "right" tile is highlighted.

Value adds include ability to stream Amazon Prime videos, Netflix, etc directly to the unit. Supports miracast without adapters. Digital audio out is coaxial and not optical. Power adapter is an external power brick that converts 110v AC household plug to 12v barrel plug which is good for anyone who wants to use this in a car, RV or any other items that supports 12v directly without using the power brick and inverter. Note this is not a standard barrel plug but one that has a center pin. Negatives: The Bluray disc player is a bit slow on loading a disc to actually playing, and the UI when using for 'smart' functions or as a streaming box is laggy and not as responsive as one would hope. At price point, acceptable. Occasionally audio jumps or there is a slight dropout while playing certain discs. Not constantly but at several points in the movie. As long as Sony keeps updating the player and Bluray encryption keys so that it will work for future discs, will be happy. Had some Bluray players in the past from various manufacturers that didn't get updated and became useless for newer discs.
