I purchased this Sony blu-ray player because of the past experience I've had with Sony products. I would say Sony products are typically priced higher that other manufacturers but this was an excellent value. It was priced well among competitors at Black Friday sales at $50. This player has not disappointed with it's remote response time and ease of use. It also rates well among the reports. Definitely a great buy!

I love this blu-ray player. It has wireless connectivity to the internet and has built in apps. It is small in size and very light. It connects by HDMI cable. I would consider bringing this along on vacation. I would connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi and stream shows on available channels or apps loaded into the blu-ray player. I would definitely recommend this product.

I vought this so i could have more apps on my son's non-smart TV. We had an old Samsung DVD player. It became outdated and only had options for Netflix. Thats prettyuch all i got with this dvd player. Netflix, HSN, Fox news and some more junk apps. It did not have the option to download more apps. I was incredibly disappointed i paid $80 for exactly whatbi had before. I returned it bought two firesticks for the pruce of one DVD player. I have all the apps i need now. Bestbuy was great on return the box was damaged. They took it anyway. Id buy a firestick instead. $80 for a dvd player with Netflix seems overpriced and not a good value. With that said, it did have a great picture and it played DVDs. Pretty standard.

An outstanding product. Small and compact and easy to setup and use.

I had a LG player that died after a year and a half and decided to go with the Sony mostly because it has an ethernet port. The LG would drop WiFi and interupt movies all the time. So far it's been an excellent player that hasn't given us any problems. Mostly it's used for our kids movies and they love it. Works great and looks good in our entertainment center.

I was replacing another Sony Blu-Ray player which was from the original Blu-Rays. This one is small, light, and to be frank, feels a little cheap. But that's only a feeling; it works GREAT! It starts up quickly and I've had no problems at all playing DVD's as well as BRD's. The only Internet-connected app I've used is YouTube, and it worked great. I am very pleased to have this new player. And the price was right!
