Low cost and works well

That said, it was for our basement to access youtube and play some dvd's while working out. It meets our needs and is easy to set up. Seems to have good wifi range and works well. We haven't had any issues so far.

outstanding player for the price

It plays very well and boots up fast. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the remote. It is very small and my fingers press on things I didn't want to press. Also some of the settings you need to set manually such as screen size. Once set up you will be very pleased.

Dependable Media Player

I have not had any problem playing any DVDs or Blu-rays. I do not use the streaming function because I have other devices that do that. The app selection is not good and there is no way to load more apps.

Essentially, it was the exact same product, just the newer model. This one works MUCH better, with some significant new apps and much easier navigation. It also seems to stream both wired and wireless much better, with much less lag, though it is possible that the previous one was just a lemon.
