Sony Wi-Fi Blu-ray Player

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't speak to the apps included with this player, as I already have a Roku 3 and a smart TV, and thus have not used any of the apps. As a blu-ray player, though, it's excellent. A quick firmware update after connecting the player to my wi-fi network got me up to speed, and the player has produced fantastic A/V quality when paired with my 42" LED TV and soundbar. I'd sworn off Sony products for a long time based on their performance vs. cost, but this player is well worth the money (and even more so if you can find it on sale, as I did).

Compact and exactly what I wanted

Great blu-ray for those on a budget

Excellent Blu-ray Player

And I am very happy with the purchase. I definitely like the small green light that indicates when the device is on. My old device did not have that and it was annoying not knowing if I had turned it off or not. Picture quality is excellent and so far the apps included work well. Not a large selection, but adequate. Would definitely purchase again if needed.
