Sony ULT Tower 9 short review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony Ult Tower 9 surprisingly impressed me after hearing the bass didn't go that deep but most people use it in ULT Mode 2 which is just upper bass with a brighter sound signature. With the Ult mode off this speaker still sounds pretty open with the 4 tweeters and 2 midrange drivers for a widespread but forward sound with the 12.5 inch woofer delivering enough bass to know you listen to a big speaker but not that much of a impressive speaker until you turn on ult mode 1 so whatever room you bring this speaker you will experience a strong 50Hz to punch to feel the vibrations in the air from the bass and the air thelar has enough low end extention to get that 35Hz movie theater experience while bass up to 65 Hz is still very solid. since this version does come with a battery it is very nice to roll from room to room but carrying this speaker outside sucks. Battery life is decent you can get about 3 and a half hours with the volume on 45% but I haven't preformed a real stamina test yet. It sounds a lot more open than the JBL Partybox 520 but the 520 is much better suited to be on the go and deliver much stronger low, sub bass but then again it can distort a lil while the Sony keeps its composure except for rapidly turning the volume up or down then youll here pops. So I can recommend this speaker as a large indoor party speaker with great sound and a lovely light show

Sony Ult 9 tower is Ultimate speaker 2Me
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read and watch videos and read some more about the Sony ult 9 tower to make sure that I was getting the speaker I really wanted especially for my ears and the way I like music to hit. I also read up on the JBL 720 and 520. Everybody says the JBL hits harder and has better Bass but after getting the Sony i don't think so plus the Sony has way better mid-range and doesn't sound so Brassy. The sunny is very well balanced but it hits hard too and I mean hard even if I don't use the ult button it still hits hard but if you need that extra hard hit ult 1 or ult 2 will give it to you. Sony thank you job well done can't wait for the follow-up please add USB C and what would put it over the top is be the first one to give us a remote oh one last thing if you can make the volume increments a little bit more meaning more choices between the levels that you have now that would also make it the bomb! I definitely buy another one if they added those features

Posted .Thank you for the fantastic review, KennK!
We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you did your research and chose the SRS-ULT900 tower, and that it perfectly delivers the sound profile you enjoy! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you find the sound very well balanced with way better mid-range compared to competitors.
We designed the ULT POWER SOUND series to deliver hard-hitting, powerful bass, and we are delighted to hear you agree—even without using the ULT button! We appreciate you confirming that ULT 1 or ULT 2 gives you that perfect extra punch when you need it.
We also appreciate your extremely valuable feedback on potential enhancements for the follow-up model.
This type of specific feedback is instrumental to our engineering teams as they develop future generations of the ULT series.
Thank you again for making Sony a part of your music experience and for your strong recommendation!

Best Party Speaker I Have Ever Heard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony has released their new ULT series speakers The ULT Tower 9 is the biggest and baddest of the bunch. The box comes with the speaker, AC power cable, optical cable, and some paperwork. The speaker comes with a manufacturer's 1-year warranty. Disclaimer 1: This speaker comes in the 9 and the 9AC series. I'm reviewing the 9 series which includes a built-in battery. Disclaimer 2: I used 2 phones to connect to the speaker simultaneously - a Samsung S24 Ultra and a Samsung S23+ PROS: ----------- * HEAVY-DUTY. This thing weighs around 70-75 lbs but has wheels for easy transport. It's a solid unit. Nothing feels cheap about it. The 2 wheels are independent of each other when they turn. * THE SOUND. THE SOUND. THE SOUND. Yes, I said it 3 times because it sounds that good. The bass options and 10-EQ graphic equalizer put this party speaker at the next level. The ULT button (or change the bass on the app) switches between 3 modes and OFF. I don't know why anyone would choose OFF, but it's there nonetheless. You have a deep-bass option, a punchy bass option, and a custom EQ option which is set in the app. The ULT letters on the button light up when light mode is ON. * 360-degree sound. The bass driver aims frontward; however, the port in the bottom spreads out in 360. The mid-range drivers also face front only. 2 tweeters face front while 2 more tweeters face semi-backwards as they are angled at the corners on back. * The battery will last you nearly all day long if you have it hitting hard. At medium levels, Sony claims 25 hour playback time when on battery by itself. If plugged in, the party never stops. * The lights are placed underneath the 4 sides of the handles and in the bottom where the bass port is located. There are multiple options to pick from in the app but you can pick a single color or multiple colors via the touch-buttons on top of the unit. The lights also will match up to the beat of the music. In addition, they can simply be turned OFF as well if lights are not needed (and to extend play time since less battery is used). * Officially it can connect to up to 100 speakers... I believe they have to be Sony though... and certain capable ones. I'm not sure when 100 will be needed or even 20, but they state it can be done. * You have the ability to connect up to 2 wired mics or an electric guitar to the speaker using 1/4" plugs. Sony has a great option with the ULT-MIC which features a plug-in wireless adapter which connects to 2 wireless mics (which have to be charged up). The speaker has 2 punch-out slots that will hold each mic on either side of the top of the speaker. So it can hold both mics when not in use. If mics aren't needed, those mic holders can be clicked into the body of the speaker (hidden). * The mic/guitar ports stay hidden away if not used under a magnetized rubber boot. When opened all the way, the magnetic rubber cap snaps in place to the top of the speaker so it doesn't dangle or look weird. This was good attention to detail by Sony. * Connectivity for 1 Bluetooth (BT) device is simple. Use the Sony SoundConnect app to make use of all the great party options with the speaker. * In using my Samsung S24 Ultra/S23+, that phone has the option to connect to 2 different BT speakers at the same time even with different manufacturers. The Sony ULT9 was able to be paired alongside a Nyne Rebel speaker at the same time. There was only a hint of reverb where the sound wasn't 100% in-line, but it was to a degree that sounded pretty cool... we're talking less than 0.1 seconds difference if at all. You can also control the volume of each speaker independent of each other (See picture) * The speaker comes with ample ways to connect including BT, 3.5mm, and optical which are all accessible in the rubber door panel on the back. This is great for simply making any TV sound great anywhere. This would be great for tailgating at football games too.... music/TV - it can handle it all with plenty of battery power for the day. * Includes a regular USB charging port on the back for charging phones and other small rechargeable items. With the size of this battery, there's plenty for a lot of extra device charging. CONS: ----------- * There a big problem with switching between the sound types in the DJ Control section on the app. There are 4 settings... (1) DJ off (2) Isolator (3) Flanger and (4) Custom EQ. When listening to a song, if you switch between Isolator and Flanger or vice versa and tap the circle to pick how you want it to sound, the volume goes nearly off all the way while the setting changes... it's actually quite bad. A software update to the unit itself should be able to fix this... but it's extremely annoying not to be able to switch between them seamlessly without a break of sound being heard (or not heard). Sony, please fix this. * The speaker would not connect to the Sony SoundConnect app EXCEPT when I provided the QR code that was in the material provided in the box. Let's say I lose that piece of paper that has the QR code on it - how am I supposed to connect the speaker then? I was unable to do so. This will hopefully be corrected in another SoundConnect app update. * There were some issues switching between phones with the app open on both. One time, it wouldn't switch at all; however, music was playing on phone 2 while phone 1 had the app actually open (as if it was connected). I disconnected both and reconnected and eventually they synced up. There were some hiccups there in the app with connection to 2 devices, but hopefully those bugs will get ironed out in future app updates. Note that music can only be played from one device at a time when connected - you CAN'T play 2 different songs, 1 from each device, at the same time. It's not like dual mics where you can have 2 singers singing at the same time. Once the 2nd device hits PLAY, the current song playing will cease, and the new song will start. * The wheels are great, but I wish they had some way to extend a handle out of the back of the speaker so taller people could pull it a bit easier (like luggage has a retractable handle). Not having that little extra length can make it a little difficult to walk and pull it in some instances due to height. * I'm not a fan of the "Battery fully charged" announcement when the speaker is powered on. I'd like to simply see a battery % on the app so it doesn't seem so cheesy when I turn on the speaker. Perhaps make that an option to toggle. I did not see that option. If it's available, Sony, please comment and let me know. Maybe a new feature in a future firmware update. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: ----------- * The top is "splash-proof" but not waterproof. It shouldn't be played in the rain. * The SONY emblem on the top/front of the unit is made of material that reflects light like a prism instead of being solid white. This is a nice touch. * With the ability to have 2 mics or a guitar plugged in, you can do karaoke; however, I do not have a mic or guitar, so I have not used these functions yet. There are also karaoke functions in the app and controls on top of the speaker that can be used, but I was unable to use those at this time. A great use besides karaoke would be to take on travel/select youth baseball games where players can come to the plate and have a walk-up song and the parents can announce who is up to bat (or new pitcher)... fun stuff like that. You would be the talk of the team if you brought this beast to a game. * The speaker itself did take a firmware update after a few minutes it was powered up. It took about 5 minutes to upgrade. No issues. * There are some other features in the app that might be useful to some people including a sound field optimization function (it adjusts sound/frequencies based on surroundings), TV sound booster, Battery care, auto standby, Notification & Voice guide (which I have OFF but it still tells me the battery power when powered ON), and the Stamina function. CONCLUSION: ===================== This speaker is something you'd hear at a frat house - LOUD AND PROUD. It does not disappoint AT ALL except for the app glitches which Sony should be able to resolve with future app and/or firmware updates. The sound is simply out of this world for a speaker this size. Throw in the versatility, and you have an "everything" and "everywhere" speaker with enough battery to last the whole day pretty much. I'm seriously impressed. My main regret here is that this speaker wasn't available 10 years ago when my kid started playing baseball. The price point is a bit high; however, you will use this speaker for many years and enjoy listening to music with it. The sound is just incredible. Great job, Sony.

Want To FEEL Your Party Music? This Is Perfect!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I recieved the offer toreview this product, the only thing the descripttion said was that it was a "party speaker" that had lights and wheels. OK, cool. What it did not say was that this is a HUGE speaker... See pictures for a relative size comparison. First impression was watching the delivery driver deliver it up my drivewway with a dolley. I was not expecting that. As I picked it up (it has inted handles, thankfully!), I was NOT expecting this much weight. My guess it was easily 75 pounds. Chugging into my front door was an endeavor. Once inside, unboxing was pretty easy. When I had it removed, I was amazed at how large it was, and now I understood why it had wheels. More on that later. Setup was easy. I have the this big guy's little brother in the Sony XP 700 (see pictures), so I am familiar with the family line. I loved the XP 700, so I had high expectations for the ULT Tower 9. I was not dissapointed. Setup was simple. Press the bluetooth button on the top control panel and paired in seconds. Boom, I was playing music immediately. I then down loaded the Sound Connect appand it paired instantly. The app lets you control the usual suspects, in addition to the "DJ Control". This offers some pretty cool options. I have not messed with it much, but first glance, some pretty cool effects for the aspiring or performing DJ. It also offers "Kareoke", that I also have not messed with, but some pretty cool sounding options. "Device Settings" and "Party Light". Both are pretty self explanatory. If Kareoke is your thing, it has two microphone inputs, in addition to two microphone holders that can be extracted. Could be a good time for a party. As for sound... WOW! This thing is LOUD, but also CLEAN. No muddled sound, even at high volume, and the bass... The bass is tunning. When I say you can "feel" the bass, you can literally FEEL the bass. On the control panel, there is a large "ULT" button. That offers 2 options for the bass. Pretty cool. The wheels are a necessity. It is weighty speaker, but it certainly delivers sound worthy the weight. They are great for floors, concrete hard/level ground, but the single improvement would be larger/wider wheels to make moving on grass and sand easier. The jighting... It's impressive. You can control from both the app and the control panel. And it is bright! If you look at the pictures, the purple hue is 100% this speaker. You can see that it is easily noticable, even from the street below. Battery life... While I was visiting our US NavybNuclear Engineer son (proud dad moment) for a long weekend, the wife used this speaker for well over 20 hours while doing yard work. She did not have to re-charge or plug it in at all. She loved the sound and battery life. She would have preffered a smaller, more portable speaker, but that is not at the fault of this speaker. This is a party speaker, not a yard work speaker. In all, this is an excellent choice for a party/kareoke/PA situation. The only mild improvement might be the larger wheels. But otherwise, this is a beast!

The Most Complete Party Speaker on the Market
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wanting to upgrade my portable sound system for some time now and I finally got my hands on the new Sony LT TOWER 9, and after a kids birthday, karaoke night, and setting it up with the outdoor tv, I feel like I’ve truly put it through it the ringer. Right off the bat, the first thing you notice is just how massive the ULT tower 9 is, coming in at 65lbs, and 3ft tall. (I had to help the delivery driver carry it off the truck). Luckily this beast of a speaker comes with wheels making it easy to move it around, which is very crucial. The speaker comes with a regular figure 8 charging plug and an auto optic cord for when you want to hook it up to a TV or receiver. Pairing it with Bluetooth was super easy. Just hold down the big touch sensitive Bluetooth logo for about 3 seconds till there is a flashing blue light. And pair it with your TV, Phone, Table or computer. You can also download the Sony Connect app, where you see the battery status, control the lights and create custom colors that will display when playing music, a DJ control tab where you can throw in different sounds when you're playing music like a DJ on stage. There is a karaoke mode that when a microphone is plugged in gives you the ability to change the sounds of the microphone, even allowing you to use a voice changer. Deeper in the app you are allowed to fully change the EQ to your desired levels, along with toggling on the TV booster when connected to your TV for some truly great bass. This is easily one of the better apps for truly getting the most out of your speaker, so I recommend downloading the app. Sony's X-Balanced Speakers are the real MVP behind the sound quality. I’ve cranked this thing up to almost max level and I’m blown away by how clean it stays. No distortion, no weird rattling, just pure, tight sound. You get clarity in vocals, punch in the bass, and a surprisingly full midrange. Whether I was streaming Spotify or connecting to my TV via Bluetooth, the quality held up. This speaker is like a cheat code for bumping your bass. Tapping the ULT button will boost the low end allowing it to get much more presence deeper, punchier, and full-bodied without muddying up the rest of the mix and exception bass. What really impressed me though, was the 360° party sound. I had this speaker dead center in the backyard, and no matter where anyone was standing front, back, or the side, the sound was consistent and clear. It fills the space without any dead zones or drop offs. This is where Sony’s acoustic design really shines. You can be 10 feet off to the side and still feel like you're front row at a concert. If you really want to set the mood for the party or event, the 360° Party Lights are mesmerizing. It doesn’t just blink randomly, it syncs with the music and pulses in a way that actually enhances the overall vibe of the party. This Ultra Tower 9 has 25 hours of battery life unplugged, and honestly, that's one of its biggest selling points. I ran it through a full Saturday event starting around noon, partied till 10 and still had plenty of battery left the next morning. There's even a USB port on that back that acts as a charger for your tablet or phone, which is super convenient for just leaving a tablet on the speaker with a full charge allowing people to change a song when they want to hear something else. This speaker is a karaoke fan's dream. I plugged in two wired mics into the microphone jacks for some karaoke duets, and was blown away by the clarity. No echoes, no weird delays, just clean, full voice projection. Plus, the mic volume and echo are independently adjustable via the knobs on the speaker, which is huge when you’re trying to balance singers with background tracks. I wasn’t really expecting to use this with my TV, but with the TV Sound Booster mode turned on, made watching the game outside with my friends was a huge boost over the regular TV speakers. If you want to you can also add another Tower 9 for stereo or any of Sony’s other Ultra speakers for more surround sound. And thanks to its Bluetooth Fast Pair and Multipoint Connection, you can have your phone and your friend’s device connected at the same time, allowing for switching DJs on the fly. My only true nitpick of this speaker beside the weight, is there is not some sort of button lock for the touch sensitive buttons on the speakers. This really is only an issue with small kids because the flashing lights attract them towards the speakers, they would come up and grab it and accidentally pressing the pause button or lower the volume, so I would love to see some sort of software update that allows you to lock buttons from the app. Pros: Massive, room-filling 360° sound Powerful bass enhancement with ULT button Gorgeous dynamic lighting Karaoke support with mic inputs X-Balanced speaker for loud, clear audio Built-in handle and wheels for easy transport Customizable 10-band EQ via app TV Sound Booster makes it a great TV speaker Stereo pairing and multipoint Bluetooth connection 25hr Battery life Cons: It weighs about 65 lbs., so while it’s movable, it’s still hefty especially if you’re lifting it into a car trunk or up stairs. No button lock for the touch sensitive buttons. Pricey Overall, The Sony LT TOWER 9 isn’t just a speaker it’s an experience. A Rolling Rig With Real Presence
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony ULT TOWER 9 is a big, feature-rich speaker that makes an equally big impression. From its chest-thumping bass to customizable lighting and flexible connectivity, it’s built to do a lot and it delivers. I tested it through both a phone connection via BT and an electronic drum kit via 1/4" jack, and in both cases the low-end punch was seriously impressive. The bass has real physical presence: you feel it as much as you hear it. When the ULT button is active, and the bass tightens up even more, adding depth and weight without muddying up the mix. Even at higher volumes, the speaker doesn’t strain or distort, and it fills a space well whether you’re indoors or outside. One of the standout features is the dual 1/4" inputs, each with its own volume control. Input 2 also includes a Guitar button, which acts as a basic EQ. I tried it with an acoustic guitar and pickup, and was impressed as it cut the boominess and added warmth in a way that felt intentional. There’s also a Delay effect, which is subtle and tasteful. It adds enough delay to add some space without drowning the tone. Between the inputs, you can easily run a quick jam session, karaoke setup, or even a small outdoor performance without needing a separate mixer or amp. The sound dispersion is well-executed. It doesn’t blast from just one direction. Instead, it spreads evenly across a room or patio with no obvious dead zones. The 360° lighting is fun without being over the top. You can customize the colors or turn the lights off entirely if you prefer something more low-key. For its size and weight, the ULT TOWER 9 is surprisingly easy to move around. The built-in handle and large wheels make it feel more like rolling a suitcase than hauling gear. Whether you’re dragging it through the house or out to a patio, it’s clearly designed with mobility in mind. Bluetooth pairing was simple, and multipoint connection worked smoothly when switching between two devices. The 25-hour battery life is a real strength. It gives you the flexibility to set it up just about anywhere without worrying about cords. There’s also a USB-A port on the back, which is a small but thoughtful detail as it's perfect for keeping your phone alive while you DJ. If you want to tweak the sound further, the 10-band EQ gives you room to dial things in, though I found the out-of-the-box tuning more than solid. The ULT TOWER 9 does a great job blending power, portability, and performance. Whether you’re throwing a party, jamming with an instrument, hosting karaoke, or just watching a movie at home, it has the sound and features to handle it.

Beastly!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony - ULT TOWER 9 is the ultimate beast at the sub-$1000 price point. Initial Observations: Upon unboxing the ULT Tower 9's box and it's a VERY large box - so be forewarned - I noticed that the internal bracing foam wasn't really up to the task. It was busted in multiple places and was observably, not very robust at all. Luckily, the speaker was undamaged; perhaps I just got lucky. Notably, this is probably best as a two-person job; unboxing and moving the speaker onto its normal position - which then makes moving it around SO much easier - given its back wheels. Moving past all that, the style and sheer mass to this thing is impressive. The more expensive model to me looks too space-age, so, considering the performance built into this thing, it's definitely the biggest party speaker I would ever consider. But keep in mind, everyone's needs are different. The Sony - ULT TOWER 9 literally "towers" leaps-and-bounds over something like the Sony XP700 which is also a very impressive wireless speaker and a great performer that I currently own! The built-in handles here are absolutely necessary. For both unpacking and moving around.. This speaker comes with an internal battery pack rated at ~25 hours. Impressive. It also has a comprehensive topside, control button/touch-panel and an abundance of indicator lights. There are inputs for microphones, aux cables, USB, TOSlink (optical input) and even a guitar! The mic and guitar inputs have discrete gain controls too. There are even retractable microphone holders. The wheels look sturdy enough but only time will tell with those. All-in-all I would say the build quality is mostly all Sony. Setup & Performance: Getting the Sony - ULT TOWER 9 setup and functioning is overall pretty quick & painless via bluetooth. I've connected via this method with both a Sony digital Walkman and a Samsung S23+. That wireless connection remained stable and reliable for the entire duration of my time reviewing the speaker. No hiccups! At initial setup, I was prompted to apply a firmware/software update to the speaker, and it took an acceptable amount of time. What the firmware update didn't do was rectify the issues I see with the party light controls - but more on that later... Using various file formats but spending most my time using ALAC/Apple Lossless content, the ULT 9 sounded authoritative and full. You can choose a default sound profile that admittedly sound overly quiet, tame & pedestrian. There is also two ULT modes, with ULT 1 sounding punchy and makes everything come alive & then there's an ULT 2 mode that I personally found muddies up the sound. But sound quality is a subjective topic, so, I'll leave it at that. Cranking the ULT 9 Tower up to concert hall-like levels both in a fairly large great room and patio setting sounded amazing, especially in ULT 1 mode. No complaints here. The speaker drivers and complimentary amplifiers behind them do more than an admirable job of producing BIG SOUND, without distortion. I cannot attest to where distortion kicks-in simply because I wasn't willing to crank it up as loud as it would go but suffice it say, this thing does the job and does it with fidelity. I can only imagine how mind-blowing the experience could be with two of these paired together in stereo mode! Mobile App Impressions: Generally speaking, the mobile app is fairly comprehensive and well laid-out. My only beef with both the app and speaker, is the apparent buggy nature of controlling the various modes & styles of party lighting. The app wouldn't let me enable or disable that stuff. I was forced to interact with the control panel. I'd call that a major bug. Active vs. static light modes seems goofy too, as the speaker would end up somehow being in a single color, static mode for some unknown reason - with other times being in music-sync'd active mode. Bottom line: this system needs a bit more polish and as such, I'm demoting my review by 1 star. Pros: In the simplest of terms: This party speaker is an absolute beast! Overall build quality is what you'd expect from a Sony product. Port locations are tightly protected with rubber seals. Connectivity options are plentiful. Wireless connectivity is rock solid reliable. Sound fidelity and loudness is again, nothing short of top-shelf Sony. Custom EQ controls work well and provide plenty of Bands. If one is into the whole RGB thing, the lighting regions are complimentary to the design theme. The guitar feature is a nice adder but sort of gimmicky too. Yes, I tested that, and it works. For certain settings, it's useful. But enough about that... Cons: Such is life, another product with unpolished mobile app/software bugs; fixable for sure - given time. Specifically, all of these bugs involve the RGB/party light functionality and seem like a major oversight. The packaging engineers sorta dropped the ball on this one. Needs better quality and better designed support foam, in its massive box. ULT 2 mode kinds overdoes things and makes the sound muddy and excessively boom-y. With fingers crossed that Sony engineers can smooth out the bumps & warts on this thing, it has the potential to be the 'king of the hill' - at its price point. And I can live with the lighting controls bugs until such time they are rectified - because the primary function of the Sony - ULT TOWER 9 is really just all about the Sound! In truth, there's a lot more to like here than dislike. A LOT more! Recommended!

Sony ULT Tower 9 for “Ultimate” party speaker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony ULT Tower 9 is the last party speaker you will ever need! Sony put a lot into this monstrosity. Coming in at about three feet tall and weighing sixty five pounds it’s a lot of speaker that packs in a lot of features. The ULT button provides 2 custom sound modes. ULT1 mode enhances deep, low-frequency bass for a rich sound. ULT2 mode delivers powerful, punchy bass. The Sony ULT Tower 9 also packs in a light show with 360 degrees party lights. There’s also a customizable 10 band equalizer that’s accessible through the Sony Connect app that you can use to adjust to get the perfect sound you’re looking for. I love that this is a feature because most party speakers lack this feature and only come with preset sound modes. You can also use the Sony ULT Tower 9 as a tv sound booster by connecting it to your tv with the included optical cable. The main driver is a 12.5 inch woofer, 2 mid drivers and 2 tweeters in front and 2 more tweeters in the back to give you a 360 degree sound experience for all your parties. Battery life is rated at a whopping 25 hours. My other favorite feature is the ability to add 2 microphones for karaoke and what’s a party without karaoke? Karaoke not your thing? You can hook up your guitar instead. Since this beast weighs 65 pounds you’re going to need to be able to move it around. That’s easily done with the casters. I do wish Sony added real rubber wheels but it’s not a deal breaker. Summers coming up and the Sony ULT Tower 9 is bringing the party!
