Awesome projector. This is the forth projector I have owned and by far the best. It is even an improvement over it's predecessor the 325ES. The laser light quality and brightness are much better than the previous model. I was concerned initially about the lack of motorized lens - but this has not been a problem. I have it in a dedicated, windowless theater - but it would likely work well in any room of the house.

Bought to replace my Sony SXRD 1080p projector and it is a huge upgrade. The 2000 lumens is exponentially brighter than the lamp projector it replaced. The HDR is incredible for a projector of this price. Blacks are deep, even with lighted elements on the screen, similar to a QLED and only a step below OLED quality. The native 4k image gives the incredibly detailed, immersive, 3D effect you see with LED TVs, even with a 100" screen. Excellent projector all around at an incredible price.

I have had the projector for over two months and it is yet to disappoint me! the picture clarity and colors are UNREAL! Sony is Sony... I do think becuase they make most of the cameras used in television production, they know how to get reproduction right.

Amazing picture quality even in well lit room. Brights are bright and darks are well defined. Although it is almost twice the price of the top Epson projectors, this is a laser which should last over 20 years as opposed to a lens that has to be replaced every three years.

Very pleased with this projector. Replaced a $10k Sony VPL-VW100 SXRD projector and picture quality is stellar. Fan noise is a bit more than I expected but can be diminished quite a bit by reducing brightness without any real visual change. HDR performance is extraordinary, black details are amazing. Installation was perfect

Been wanting to upgrade to a laser for a while. I have zero complaints on quality. The manual lens adjustment was a little wonky. After set up, just sit back and be blown away.

I really wanted to be able to keep this projector but if you are a fan of Cinemascope movies, but also watch 16:9 content, just realize that you will have to manually get up and readjust your lens every single time you switch between the two aspect ratios, or settle for a Cinemascope image. That’s smaller than it could be. It’s unfortunate because the image quality of this projector is out of this world for its price to get the motorized lens at this level cost an additional six grand, I returned it and got the epson ls12000.

Coming from an older ceiling mounted projector, I didn't want to change much in terms of setup. This Sony laser projector fit the bill with existing mount and quick swap of older 3LCD 1080P projector. Difference is definitely the upgrade needed.

Is a decent medium level projector , works good with ligth, is a little disappointing that you have to ajusted manually, but is no big deal , does 60 frames per second that is going to be ok for almost everyone that is not a hard core gamer , some people say that the fan is loud i got no problem with it i can honestly say I hardly hear it . It is not a projector to move around

To highlight the best this projector can do you must watch 4k blue ray discs and pacific rim is amazing. Streaming 4k is good also. Gaming takes a little to get used to but is good. I have a 65 inch lg oled and have not used it since I hooked up this projector. Is it better than oled. No way but if you want a big screen experience this one is bright and the colors are very good. I thought my 1080p Epson was good this is a big step up for sure. My only grip is the poor quality of the housing itself. But once installed do you really notice the body of the projector anyways.

Great projector. Got about 30 hours on it. Just wish it had 4K 120hz. Apparently from my research the panels are there just not the hdmi 2.1 interfaces. Even with the higher end models costing 2x & 3x the cost. Color is great, contrast is awesome, and with the laser light it will last a long time. Didn’t really care about the manual lens people complain about. Once you set it up, you’re good to go. For the cost, you can’t go wrong. Much better than the faux K products out there.

My 3rd projector, coming from an Epson 4000, this was a huge upgrade. -Had it over a year now and I use it like a tv, I watch everything on it. That said I have noticed it is not as bright as it used to be. Still an amazing picture but I can definitely notice the difference from when I first got it. Couple of annoying quirks, Shutting it off requires two presses of the power button. 1 or 3 and it will not turn off or it will come back on after it cycles off. Sometimes have issues on pc where the screen will go balck for a few seconds. Does not happen with the blueray player or cable, just the pc.
