Sony delivers quality bass and treble with the XB950B1. The wireless bluetooth pairing feature allows for a variety of uses with this headset. You can make outbound calls on your cell with the internal microphone built in. I use it for listening to music I create in my small studio. I was impressed with the studio quality of this device, and the simplicity of the buttons. Comfortable in the ears, I've fallen asleep listening to relaxing music on internet radio. The device covers the whole ear and the speakers fold internally flat. Travel with it can be cumbersome, you might want to leave this one behind in your music room. Unless you want to look like a bass head and start a trend. To charge it you must connect it to a standard usb cable. The battery life lasts a long time. I've had it for a little over a month and I've charged it three times so far. I'm glad that SONY provides a great product at a relatively affordable price. Overall I am satisfied with the XB950B1. Consider this one if you are seeking a new headphone that has a hands free feature for your cellphone, comfortable wear around the ears and studio sound quality SONY is known for.

Easy setup, great sound quality, comfortable to wear

I practically live in my headphones. I own 2 pair - these and a higher price ear bud style wireless. These are my favorite by far. They're not ideal for a strenuous work out but I have used them when bike riding or weight lifting. The sound quality is great - better than the higher priced ones I own.

I like these but they are a little bulky.. I only use them around the house so I’m satisfied.. I have PowerBeats wireless earbuds for walking around.

At first I was uncertain if I would like them. Then after time, I began to appreciate their quality and capability.

My son loved having wireless and the sound was sufficient for his needs.

These headphones do what I need them to do. They cost a bit more then I wanted to spend, but I'm happy I caved in.

Hey for the price they are a steal. Great bass, mids, and highs. My only complaints are that one the design doesn't allow them to be folded for easy carrying. Two is that if you have a big head like me they get pretty uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of wearing.

I tested these against a few other high end Bluetooth models and the have excellent sound. They weren’t as good as the other ones, but they were not $200-300 worse. I like the noise canceling abilities on this headphone. I like to ride my Schwinn Airdyne bike which has a fan belt driven chain, ie very noisy. The headphones did a great job canceling out the noise. I could listen to my tv that was connected to the head phones at a much lower level. Typically, I need to use a volume of 27-36 for ESPN on DirectvNow and with the headphones I could bring that down to 15-18. Apple music also sounded better. I had a hard time hearing people talk, especially when I had someone talk from a spot I couldn’t see them. Be careful if you still need to be able to hear things around you when using noise cancellation. Even without the noise cancellation on, the headphones did a nice job blocking out the sound because they are over the ear headphones. Bass levels were good for me when I was listening to my “bad” 80’s pop music or grunge from the late 90’s. It was crisp and clear and not too drowned out by the bass. I personally liked where Sony has placed the volume and tracking. I could easily restart a song, skip a song and change the volume. Those buttons were easy to find and very responsive even as I was on my bike. After I fully charged the head phones I tried to leave them connected to a music source as much as I could. I got about 19 hours of play. I sure it could be a little less since I didn’t have it consistently being used, but I would feel comfortable that it could make it for a entire days use. Along with using the headphones for an entire day, the ear cushions are very comfortable and the headphones rested comfortably on my head. I did use it about 3 hours for the first day with the testing and it was very comfortable. It did get very hot when I rode my bike for 30 minutes. I could not imagine using these to exercise with if I was doing cardio or weight training as they would get way to hot like any over the ear headphones. The head phones were stable, but there was some noise artifact when moving my arms a lot, but that happens with most over the ear head phones. could get about 25-50 feet of steady connection to my tv. I could even travel a floor above the tv and on the other side of my house and have a solid connection. I liked the ios app. I prefer the presets, but there were lots of little tweaks you could do. My only grips are that a charger was not supplied but any micro usb charger works. I would prefer a usb C charging set up. I think Sony make some cost savings by not having the headphones being able to fold up, which is nice for some, especially since ti makes carrying the headphones in a carrying case nicer. Over a great noise cancelling over the ear headphones if you are looking to spend $200.

I am a commercial truck driver and use the headset for music and phone calls. Prior to buying the Sony I had JBL's. The JBL headset would turn off if it wasn't being used. I would have to fumble around to turn it on. Not good. The Sony brand sounds just as good as the JBL and stays on until you turn it off.

I've had these for about 2 years until one day the ear piece just happened to break. This was likely due to the fact that I was probably pretty rough with this set in a daily basis with no type of protective casing. Sounds quality is phenomenal and good build quality as well

Great product; does everything I would expect it to. Great bonus that it was heavily discounted at the time!

I use them for the bedroom while my wife is sleeping. Excellent for music and tv. Priced affordable for the quality. Easy to set up.
