These Sony headphones are great, especially for sound and functionality (Bluetooth, controls, etc.). They feel comfortable on the ear, however, I've felt others that were more comfortable. These have fantastic bass, which includes an extra bass button on the headphones. The battery last a long time on these as well, so you won't have to keep charging them. Noise cancellation is good to. The only reason I wouldn't give the 5 stars is the next generation sony headphones are better. The noise cancellation on the new model is outstanding.

Bought this black friday deal for $125 and it competes with high end headphones like the beats and bose. the noise cancelling is awesome and the BASS is incredible. The amount of base that you get with the booster is insane!

If you have folks who are up late or early and need to listen to news or programs without waking up the whole house, this works well with my TV or his computer. No issues keeping them on the head like some mentioned in the recliner for him. Also, the man is hard of hearing and this cancels out surrounding sounds well so he can understand what is being said better. It would be nice if you could turn off the sound coming from the headset. I figured out how to hear from the TV and let him use the earphones, but we get feedback which makes the other person have a less than desirable experience. Maybe it is our lack of knowing how to fix that on our new Sony 4K UHD TV, but I don't blame the headset. It does what it advertised. It is the TV that should handle that better.

I do a lot of traveling for work. These headphones are great. When I am on a flight no noise. The bass is great. Got a good sale price on them. These are a must buy. If you are looking for a really good set of headphones.

I wore these for the fist time on a flight overseas. The noise canceling works perfect on the plane. Crying baby did not bother me. $200 cheaper than some other name brands. Battery lasts a long time and they sound great.

Was in the market for a good pair of noise reduction with quality sound to block out noise pollution on my long flight. I hate flying and all the noises freak me out. Well I found them! Didn’t hear anything while watching my movie and listening to music. Highly recommend these at under $200 compared to Bose. The super bass is also sweet. Battery life is amazing for the power it dishes out. Also comes with a phono adaptor for flights with entertainment.

My coworker has the Bose NC, but based on reviews I wanted to try these out. Both products are equally comparable. He can't hear me, I can't hear him. Everything is wonderful. They are also extremely comfortable.

I really like sound quality. Very good bass and noise cancellation. Not recommended for people who don't like bass. I enjoy it when watching netflix movies, tv shows, youtube and also my mp3 songs. Good price and good purchase. Definetly recommend.

These are great noise cancelling headphones that feature extra bass included. Especially for the price i got them for ($125) makes this a success purchase. They are worth it especially if you can get them on sale!

I had tried another manufacturer first and was not impressed. These headphones have very good noise cancellation and great sound. They are very comfortable to wear. The controls are easy to use and the voice announcing setting changes is helpful.

I consider myself a headphone expert. I have had many pairs of headphones from skull candy to Bose. The only headphones that I liked better than these are the Bose quiet comfort. I would recommend these to anyone looking to buy headphones in this price range. I think the only con to these is the on the ear controls are a bit complicated to get used to. They are extremely comfortable and for me sound amazing with the available extra base and noise canceling effects.

I love the bass, sound is very clear. Bluetooth feature is excellent and battery life is excellent as well. Noise cancellation lives up to expectations!

I love the way the sound comes out. The app makes it even better and lets you alter the type of sound it gives off ( so it can sound like an outdoor concert, orchestra, and other options too). I got this for the bass and it definitely does not disappoint. My only issue is that when trying to workout with these on, it feels like they can move or fall off pretty easy, so you need to make sure it’s adjusted to a point where that won’t happen. But, to get the sound, it feels worth dealing with this flaw for me

These headphones do a good job canceling engine noise on airplanes but still let you hear people talking around you unless you turn up your music. They are comfortable and can't be beat for the price.

I was skeptical of noise canceling headphones. I read reviews and decided to buy a pair of Bose Q35s. While in Bestbuy, I tried the Sony XB950N1 headphones also. I was surprised they sounded better then the Q35s. I love the extra Bass feature, and the headphone ushions. The noise cancelation actually works. At work, the sound from people in nearby cubical can't be heard. The battery life is great. I am able to use the headphones for two days before needing to recharge them.

One of the best sets of headphones I have ever owned. I stream music while in the gym and the sound quality is awesome! Battery life is fantastic compared to other sets I have owned prior to this pair.

Truly amazing. When I can ignore a crying baby right behind me on 5 hour flight because the noise canceling is that good and they actually get loud enough. App is nice as well, makes it easy to switch between devices. Mic may be too sensitive. But always hears you when you ask Google or siri for something. Nice battery life as well. And comfortable enough to wear for hours.

I am 74 and the headphones were very easy to pair with my Bluetooth devises and speakers. The best part is no wires and the sound is better than I was expecting. This was a good buy at Best Buy
