Bought this phone to replace Samsung S7 Edge with a cracked screen. The cost to repair the S7 Edge was $80 more than the cost of this new Sony phone. No brainer - love the phone, I will not miss the the gee-whiz features of the enough to justify the cost. This Sony L1 rocks.

Good price. Works OK. Sometimes some app might have some problems. But not sure if it is the phone or the app itself.

Less than 2 months of use, and my screen just went dark. NO BACKLIGHT. Don't think I can return it now. Never liked how it functioned. Could have gotten a Huawei for the same price. Sony sells the phone pre-loaded with crapp like Facebook, Amazon app, WHICH YOU CANNOT UNINSTAL! So the phone is just bloated out of the box with little storage left. Camera sucks hard, and you will just hate this phone if you try to take a picture in the dark. Worst entry level phone I've used. I'm just going to get save up and get a new highend Huawei

Very poor sound, display nis OK. Phone is very slow for VOIP applications like Magic Jack. Extremely low volume and Mediocre display. I wasted my money on this, Not worth buying at all. I am surprised sony came up with such a mediocre product that cannot even meet a basic audio customer requirement. No more Sony cell phones for remainder of my life. Poor Battery performance. No fast charge, NO dual whats app and facebook. Please dont waste your money on this if you use apps.

Buyer beware the sym card tray is so hard to get out it brings a paper to pull out but the paper won’t come out so you have to literally use twizzers to pull it out be gentle or you might complete mess up the phone it took me about in hour to do that

It stopped working after 5 months. Sent it in as it is under warranty. After 7 weeks no response. I called and emailed. Finally they gave me an answer: the phone arrived at facility more than a month ago, it took A WEEK (yes 7 days) to travel to Sony repair center (why not giving me that address?). Once there, it took 25 days to repair. It is still waiting to be EXAMINED [WHY?] and sent back to me. I am not making it up. I have all on record. Stay away. Buy Apple if you have the dough. Or any cheap one if you do not. Iy will work better than this steamboat.
