Having used the Sony Flag Ship Xperia Z3, I imagined the M4 Aqua to be a down grade given its significantly lower specs. However the phone has yet to disappoint me, and I can easily say this is a much better buy than the other high end Sony Cellphones. It has a USB/Charging port on the side that is not covered by a flap ( a significant improvement to the water prove design of the previous models), hence the chances of water damaging this cell phone is much lower. It is much lighter and easier to hold than the Sony Z3 and possibly the X series. The only handful of problems I have with the M4 Aqua is the battery life, which pales in comparison to Sony's high end cell phones, and its tendency to overheat when engaged in high graphics gaming. Of Course, it would be unfair to compare a mid range cell phone to a flag ship. If you are looking to buy a decent and reasonably priced cellphone offered by Sony, the M4 Aqua is the one to go.

I do not use the phone for games. All other applications worked very well, including streaming a movie and mirroring it to a TV ( a little too hot at the end of the movie), tethering and navigation. While abroad cellular data did nor work. Sony suggested to reset. Not sure if this is a Sony or Android problem.

This is a decent phone overall. It is actually used by my kid but takes good pictures, responsive and less expensive than other phones that offer the same features.

Decent phone. Microphone didn't work on speaker mode. Good camera but not quick. Worth 150 but not more.

Overall good quality! Only the camera is a bit below my personal expectations but it made a good present for my father who like me is a Sony fan.

It is a Cheaper cellphone with good specs. I bought this item in a great deal.

Here is my experience with buying that m4 xperia: The phone suddenly appeared to him a hair-thin lines on the screen, and made me feel like electricity touches on the finger while touching the screen. He had already passed the period gives Best Buy for returns or claims, so I call Sony and got a number of attention for review of the phone so I send them my phone under my shipping cost (not care about give you a good attention from the beginning, you have to pay your shipment to get it checked). When I speak to them for repairs and service I told them my concern that the phone screen will have appeared lines and that by touching the screen sometimes felt some electricity. I sent to them by mail this phone and they returned me the phone saying he was physically damaged. Of course it was damaged, but it was not my fault, that phone had something or has something and the technician who revised it was assumed that I damaged. The phone does not have a stroke, the damage was inside and responsibility for them. I understand it is a cell phone, that the most common is that they can hit and break the screens, but Sony itself has already happened with the Z model and perhaps have the same problem with the M4 model, the screens have problems of fine lines originated factory. I do not intend to spend my time arguing with Sony what they themselves could do from the beginning that was properly review the phone. In addition, when you talk to people repair center customer service answering they do not know anything about it. Sony Xperia M4 for me: I would not recommend the phone or company ever.

This is a okay phone if you get it on sale or as a back of phone. The reason being is it not easy to ear from the receiver nor can people hear you that great when you're talking.

Poor Battery backup. Had to charge twice a day. I work in mobile phone industry. This device eats battery with sim.
