I used to have a pair of Samsung Galaxy buds, but I lost them. I needed a new pair and stumbled on this brand, which I had never seen before. I generally stick with name brand accessories, but I have been very pleased with these earbuds.
The case is a little larger than others, and they have a stalk design rather than a round shape. All features have worked as advertised. They charge quickly, pair easily. I like being able to pair with 2 devices simultaneously.
Definitely pleased with the purchase. Great quality at a fraction of the price.

I love them they fit in your ear great. I can hear great with them. Wish they filter out more of the back ground noise from people hearing what you are doing. But overall I would purchase them again.

I have a pretty extensive collection of ear buds that I've amassed over the years, I'm always interested in the sound quality and fit of the new ear buds on the market. Overall, I like the Liberty 4's. The sound is really good once you have the fit dialed in. The fit is what's going to make or break the sound quality in any pair of ear buds. The fit on these is better than most, but I still had to really play around with the positioning to hear the best sound.
So, to start, I love the case. A horizontal case is always the best option. It's easy to open with a press of the button, and even with the lid open it still lays flat. So many buds just have clunky cases that either fall over when opened or have a rounded bottom that makes you hold the case while you trying to put in your buds. Crazy. The case also has a good strong magnet that makes it a breeze to get your buds back into the case in the proper position. No fuss, no guesswork. The charging port on the case is a USB-C connection (thankyou Anker!), don't know why everything hasn't gone that route but I still buy things that come with the micro USB connection. I've been listening to these guys for several days and have yet to actually plug the case in to charge it. The buds are always at 100% right out of the case and the case charge level is still around 90%. I wouldn't hesitate to take these guys on a short trip without a charger and cable.
I like the way you don't need to fumble around with finding the on/off button. Just pull them out of the case and they power on and connect to your phone. I had absolutely no trouble pairing with my Samsung phone. I always like to try and pair a new set of buds without downloading an app first just to see how well they play with others, and these did just fine. Downloading the Soundcore app gives you a lot of features. Aside from the home screen basics of connection status and battery levels of both buds and the case, there are adjustments for the noise canceling, and sound quality. Opening up the settings gives you choices Auto Play/Pause, Gaming mode, Sound leak compensation, Prompt tone, Sound mode, dual connections, Find device, Fit test, Auto power off, and on and on. Wow! Unlike a lot of apps I've run into for other buds, everything I see on the Soundcore app is actually useful! The Fit Test is especially useful and fully active (not just instructions on how to wear the buds). It will actually let you know after the test if you're wearing them correctly.
The sound mode the buds come up in the first time is “normal”, which presumably has no noise cancellation. I started in this mode, but soon realized that switching over to noise cancellation mode or transparency mode is where you want to be if you actually want to hear any bass response. The Normal mode sounds very thin and tinny. Once I switched to this mode, it was like hearing an all new set of buds. The low end was well defined and the overall sound improved immensely. On top of that, the custom EQ allows you to really tweak the frequencies you like to boost. So by the time I was done, I was really getting more and more impressed with the sound quality. I (very) briefly tried the 3D surround sound and wondered what the point was of it, because the tinniness came back. Maybe if I was watching a movie it would be better suited for that type of sound reproduction. At any rate, I'm really happy with the sound I'm getting out of these guys.
The fit, as I've said before in this review and many others, is everything when it comes to ear buds. If they don't fit right or you just don't want to use the biggest rubber tips for your ears, your not going to get good bass response. I have a problem with the majority of the buds I try, and I think this just comes down to the shape of my ear canals. It's difficult for me to get good sound from a lot of different buds. These were no different, but after working with them and going through the Fit Test a bunch of times, I got them into a good position. Even with the largest tips, I still have to really push them in deep, which is sometimes uncomfortable, but since I don't have them in for hours on end, it's not a big problem. But I can honestly say that if you spend the time with the fit, they sound fantastic. These guys are taking over one of the top spots in my collection and that's saying a lot. I was really pleasantly surprised by the performance of these buds all the way around. From the sound quality to the effort they placed in the app, and even the way they understand the fit is everything when it comes to buds and they give you a way to actually test the fit and let you know how to wear them correctly. The really long battery life is also a great bonus.

I’ve owned and used many wireless earbuds from various brands, some more higher-end than others. I got an opportunity to test these Soundcore - Liberty 4 NC True Wireless Earbud Headphones by Anker and they impress. I prefer some good bass with my music and these Soundecores don’t disappoint in the low frequency department. The mid frequencies are pretty clear as well, offering good sounding vocals. The high frequencies are plentiful. All of the above sound quality is adjustable through the Soundcore App that is very intuitive and feature-rich. It includes many adjustments such as an 8-band equalizer with many presets or fully customizable sound curve. It also has multiple Active Noise Canceling and Transparency modes. In order to get the best sound and ANC, make sure you pick the best fit for the ear tips - included are 4 different size silicone ear tips to accommodate most people.
Other notable physical aspects:
The charging case is not too large, it has a nice LED lit button that you press and the lid pops open. That is also the charging indicator.
It also supports wireless charging and has a USB-C plug, thank you!
With battery charging from the case will offer an additional 40 hours of charging on top of the 10 hours for the buds themselves
The buds magnetically snap-in very securely inside the case
The touch panel commands on each earbud are very intuitive and works well
You must use the App for full sound and active noise canceling customizations
You can pick from 22 EQ Default presets such Dance, Classical, Podcast, Hip-Hop, etc. or create your own custom 8-band EQ, impressive flexibility
You can toggle through 4 ANC modes - including 4 different transportation modes as well as transparency modes to let ambient sound in when you’re trying to listen to a conversation, etc
The Soundcore App shows the battery levels for each individual earbud and the charging case
Gaming Mode is another option
Dual Connections is also available and works well being paired with both my phone and laptop
And so much more, an intuitive and truly comprehensive App
All in all these Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 ANC earbuds are a true contender punching way above their weight, performing well with great sound, an excellent App and battery life at an affordable price - highly recommended.

I received the Soundcode Liberty 4 NC True Wireless Earbud Headphones by Anker - Black. I was very impressed with the quality and sound.
They offer excellent active noise cancellation (ANC), I was not able to hear any outside noise while using, they have a robust bass depth, and pair with a companion app that includes an 8-band EQ.
They come with four pairs of silicone eartips (XS, S, M, and L) and feel snug in the ear and don't have to worry about them falling out.
Has fast Pairing for rapid connections on compatible Android devices, and lets you connect up to two devices at the same time.
The touch panels on the outside of each earpiece feel responsive and have a sensible default control layout. Single taps handle playback on both ears, double taps control track navigation (left for previous, right for next), triple taps do nothing by default, and long presses on either side switch between the ANC and Transparency modes. In the app, you can adjust the control layout, as well as add volume controls.
They are water resistant so light rain or sweat should not cause problems, but don't submerge them.
The charging case (which isn't protected against water at all) has a flip-top lid and a button on the front that opens it. The earphones dock flat into the charging cradle, which has a white LED light, there’s a USB-C port on the bottom for charging via the included USB-C-to-USB-A cable, but you can also just drop the case on a Qi wireless charging pad to refill its battery.
The earphones can last roughly 10 hours per charge and the case holds an additional 40 hours of battery life (with ANC off).
The Anker Soundcore app (available for Android and iOS) has a sleek design and features. It shows battery life readouts for each earpiece and the case at the top, below this, the Ambient Sound section lets you switch between Noise Cancellation, Transparency, and Normal modes.
Overall, The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC true wireless earphones deliver on multiple fronts, with a rich sound signature, impressive noise cancellation, and a standout companion app. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice set of earbuds at a reasonable price.

I think this is my tenth set of BT wireless earbuds. Only because they keep getting better. This is my first set of Soundcore, an Anker (who I'd heard of, and I have several of their products, all good). Anker makes chargers, cables and power packs which I found to be excellent products. Along come these Soundcore, Liberty 4 NC earbuds. Time to see how they sound/perform. They claim each earbud will last 10h a charge and the case can charge them 4 times giving a total of 50h battery life (10h+40h from charging case). I installed their software, fully charged the earbuds, and updated the firmware before trying them out. I had no problem with software installation or pairing them with my iPhone 12 pro. I then ran them through a sound burn-in tool overnight (looks like they lasted ~9h 38m), just short of the 10h quoted lifespan, and then I recharged them. Pairing the earbuds with their app was easy and my battery level showed 100% on each earbud. The software provides a 8 band equalizer, which is awesome. They have several predefined curves, and a feature called HearId Sound. This feature must be set up in a very quiet space. It's basically the type of test that is done with hearing aids. Different tones (frequencies) at different levels, where you indicate which you can hear. From there you listen to music and indicate if you prefer A or B (or can't tell the difference). I think there were 6 or 7 different options. It then creates a customized equalization curve to improve the sound to match your hearing. I found it very interesting that the curve it built me came very close to matching the custom curve I'd set up for myself. Not exact, but the same general curve. I listen to my custom curve, and their curve back and forth. Deciding I prefered their, min had the highs boosted a bit too much. You can easily move between defined and custom curves to compare the differences. VERY CLEVER! A great new feature.
Now onto the important part, how do they sound and fit. I generally move to the next larger rubber earbud surround, but after testing I found the standard set worked just fine for me. All of the tips are light silicon, I tend to prefer a soft foam sponge tip, But that was not an option, foam just seems more comfortable than silicon. But the silicon that came with them was fine, they didn't feel loose and the sound seal was pretty good.
Now on to music, I started with some Yes, Tormado, a very underappreciated album. Don't Kill the Whale has some flutes that sounded sensational, the instruments each sounded clear, the horns throughout were very airy, the earbuds presented a great 3D sound (a feature I enabled in their app). Each instrument sounded precise. I then listened to Circus of Heaven, the voices were excellent, especially the child's voice. The bass was a bit thin, which I boosted 3dB with the EQ, and I was content. I listened to the rest of the album, with a smile on my face; these earbuds were better than I expected them to be.
I then went to Boston's first album; More than a feeling was forward, and the bass felt very natural with airy highs. On Foreplay/Long time the fade in/out fade had great separation and was excellent. The subtle build up was awesome. And the bass was deeper on this album; deep but not over done. I tapped the earbuds to advance the song, it worked as I expected. The touch controls can be programmed as you desire (a great feature). The software can also control what they call Ambient Sound. Where some outside sounds are brought into the sound stream of the earbuds (via Transparency Mode). This was somewhat effective, but at louder music levels the effect diminished. I went outside to see if I could hear the birds over the music, but I could not. I then tried the noise cancellation to see if it could hide the sound of my running A/C. It was an improvement, but not the 98.5% they claim to reduce. They have a Adaptive setting, a Manual Mode and 4 transportation modes (Air, Train, Bus and Car). Air transportation eliminated the AC humm better than the others, so picking your environment might be a useful choice.
I then went to Pink Floyd's beautiful DSOTM (ReMastered from Immersion Edition). Speak to Me sounded great, the volume level was wonderful, opening up the subtle notes of the song. I had the volume at about 80% volume knowing they could be louder. The subtle tones were great, and as the song built it had real presence. The highs in Time were sensational, soaring from right to left. These earbuds provide an excellent natural high end. Then Great Gig In the sky's ethereal voices, wisp around the 3D soundstage with a wonderful balance. Money plows in with a solid exciting entry, I turned it up just a bit it was still perfectly clear. It was even better, louder. Their app has a setting called safe volume, which tells you what dB level you are listening to (real time and averaged) Above 90dB you're warned it's getting too loud. Above 100dB, which I found painfully loud, it warns of hearing damage. Another interesting feature. Ipersonally felt comfortable around 92dB. Us and Them was tremendous, it got me turning my head, like I could hear the different instruments right in front of me. As we ended with Eclipse I felt like the little voices in my head would persist. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance for the thousandth time, and will certainly do it again.
The charging case can't be charged wirelessly (that would be another step up). The case has a USB-C connector, with supplied USB-A to USB-C cable (about 1' long).
I'm very happy that Soundcore provides a graphic equalizer, it works superbly, especially combined with their HeadID Sound (which can be applied to 24 Genres of music). Combining these two features is very effective. These earbuds have Adaptive Noise Cancelling which over all works well, but it is not the best out there, but it could be the best for the price. These earbuds are very reasonable considering the full feature set they deliver. These are exceptional earbuds for the price, I've recently tried others that are more than twice the price that I would not say sounded any better. These are close to the best earbuds I've ever used. After using them all day, I found them very comfortable, I rarely thought about them (other than how nice they sounded).

I got the Liberty 4 NC earbuds to replace my previous set of Jaybird earbuds, and my expectations were blown away! These earbuds last for days without a single charge, they're very comfortable for extended periods of time, and the sound quality is truly next level compared to most earbuds I've tried over the years. They connect easily with my phone, and the app provides a ton of equalizer options to fit your needs. At the end of the day, I really don't have any complaints and highly recommend these to anyone in the earbuds market! Also, it's worth noting that the quality of these easily surpass the much more expensive Bose or Sony earbuds in my opinion.

This is an excellent headset that has two unfortunate shortcomings. The most important part is the sound quality which is excellent and can be adjusted vía the intuitive app. I’ve been using this pair for everyday activities except exercising because they tend to fall off easier than I like. Falling off easily maybe both a desig issue and user ear canal shape. The app makes it easy to adjust volume, equalizer and sound modes which are nice and varied. The unfortunate thing is that the volume can’t be adjusted on the headset with the touch. It has limited controls unlike my other headsets. The charge last a full two days of constant use but not heavy use. The charger box is better designed than most and has a light indicator which is large which is better than other headsets. The noise canceling is not as effective as other headsets but good enough to block most sounds and still listen to alarms and close conversations. Pairing is easy and can be paired with two different device which I have, Android and iOS.
I wouldn’t by this set for a very active friend or family member but for the feel, quality build and sound makes it a good buy.

Best so far in my collection. These are premium ear buds.
Quick Specs:
- Adaptive ANC 2.0
- 10H/50H Playtime (8H/40H with ANC on)
- Crisp High Res Sound with 11mm Drivers
- Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.3 multi-point connection
- IPX4 water-resistance against spills and rain
- 6 mics and an AI algorithm enable crystal clear calls
- Fast Charge – 10 Min / 4 hrs of play
- Wireless charging case
As soon as you unpack these you start to experience the quality.
You get multiple size ear tips to provide your custom fit. This is very important to get a good seal as it makes a big difference on sound quality. I had to use the largest size for a great seal. I don’t have the typical ear build, no natural fold in my ear that are used to hold many earbuds in place. These cure that and really fit well. Probably the best out of all I have tried.
Overall sound quality is fantastic.
When I compared to one of my favorites: the Soundcore Liberty 3 pro’s, they have the same great bass but with a little brighter, cleaner Mid/Highs perhaps.
Set up:
I already had the Soundcore app, if you don’t, just simply download from the app store.
Earbuds were detected right away though easy set up.
Within the app I noticed a few more options with this set of earbuds than the others I had.
Here are the overall features (and some commentary) within the Soundcore App.
Top of the first screen will show you a picture of your ear buds and the battery level of each earbud and the case. (this is a 5 level scale, here I would prefer a percentage)
Here is a list of other menu options;
*Ambient Sound
-Noise Canceling - Modes list:
Adaptive noise Canceling - You can also then toggle on Environment Detection (Environment Detection detects external and in ear sounds in real time and adjust noise reduction levels for optimal performance)
Manual Mode
Transportation Modes – Here you can choose specicifc environments like Airplane, Train, Bus, Auto.
-Normal
I never use this mode. Perhaps the best battery life, but sound is terrible. When you take one earbud out to listen to Mono, the app will default to Normal, but you can go back in an change.
-Transparency mode
Vocal Mode and Fully Transparent
** You also have a Wind Noice Reduction when using the Noise Cancel or Transparency mode.
(I use the transparency mode inside and Noise canceling when cutting lawn etc. Both sound great.)
I was impressed with how these canceled out the drone of my riding lawn mower. I was in my music oasis.
*Sound Effect
- HearID will test your personal hearing and adjust both sound and Noice Canceling based on your personal needs and surrounding. Pretty top shelf stuff.
- You can also select 3D Surround Sound , about 20 preset Default or custom EQ setting.
*Safe Volume
- Here you see a live Decibel sound level and can select Limit High volume.
*Controls
- Here is where you can assign single tap, double tab, hold 2 seconds, tap three times to control each year bud with the controls of your choice.
SETTINGS GEAR
Auto Play/Pause

Sound Leak Compensation
Prompt Tone –
o When this is set to ON, each touch of the earbud provides a brief tone. This is extremely helpful in knowing if your touch was felt by the software.
Sound Mode –
o Here you can choose-LDAC or Combined Audio and Quality modes are available.
What is LDAC?- From Soundcore website: LDAC technology is for a Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified listening experience. 3x more data is transferred from your device to the earbuds to preserve every little detail in the song.
LDAC will increase power consumption. (Note, you cannot use LDAC and Multipoint connection at the same time.)
Dua Connections -
o Connect two devices at the same time.
(I connect to my laptop and phone most of the day.)
Fit Test –
o Provides testing procedure to make sure you have the best fit possible for audio quality and noise canceling.
Auto Power Off –
o You can choose from 10, 20 30, 60 or Never power off

Quickstart guide
Calls –
The call quality is great. I usually have these connected to both my phone and Microsoft Teams for work meetings. If outside, the wind and street noise is mainly removed from the ears on the other end of the line. The 6 mics do their job here.
Battery –
I run them off and on all day at my desk throughout my workday and they last all day. Grant it, sometimes on standby. I have yet to run out of juice. When not used they are in the case, so they are charging.
Case / Charging
– Nice push button lid. Buds always make a solid connection when placed in the case. Hold lots of charging power. I have had these for 1 week. I charged on the first day and have not charge the case again. I am at about 50% (2 bars) currently.
.
BOTTOM LINE – BUY THESE, YOU WILL NOT REGRET!
I can’t recommend these enough. Best earbuds I have tried to date, and I have tested A LOT.
They sound awesome, Bluetooth works great and the App offers up a ton of customization.
Soundcore is simply top shelf at a fair price. Every time I think the sound quality or features can’t get any better, they prove me wrong.

Alright, listen up, folks! If you're all about that wireless audio life and happen to be a die-hard AirPods fan like me, you gotta hear about the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earphones! Sound Quality Now, I ain't kidding when I say these babies deliver some sick sound. The beats are punchier than a heavyweight champ, and the tunes come through crystal clear. They definitely give those AirPods a run for their money!
Noise Cancellation Ever been in a crowded place, trying to vibe to your favorite jams, but the noise ruins it all? Not anymore! The Liberty 4 NC's noise-canceling game is on point! Say goodbye to those pesky distractions and hello to a private concert experience!
Battery Life Okay, this one blew my mind! These earphones just keep going and going! It's like they're on an endless power trip, making sure the music never stops. Seriously impressive battery life right here.
Connectivity Sure, AirPods got that easy-peasy connection with Apple stuff, but these Liberty 4 NCs ain't no slouch either. Pairing them up with my iPhone was a breeze, and they stayed hooked up like a loyal sidekick.
Comfort I'll be honest, AirPods are comfy, but the Liberty 4 NC is giving them a run for their comfort crown! They fit snugly in my ears, no matter what I'm doing, and I can wear 'em for hours without feeling any discomfort.
Additional Features These earphones got some sweet touch controls that work like a charm. Skipping tracks, cranking up the volume, or taking calls – it's all just a tap away. And that app thingy? It lets you fine-tune stuff, which is pretty rad.
Final Verdict So, my fellow AirPods lovers, the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earphones are legit contenders! They hold their own against those big brand names and bring some serious audio firepower. If you're ready to make the switch, give these bad boys a shot!
There you have it – a more laid-back take on the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earphones! Give 'em a try and enjoy your tunes in style! Rock on!

To start, these weren't my first choice. I really wanted to like the new AirPod 4 with Noise Cancelling but they didn't fit my ears like the OG AirPod 1/2s do. I also wanted to give the AirPod Pros a try but they also don't fit my ears at all. Beats Fit Pro also didn't fit properly. That being said, I noticed these have a similar stem like the original AirPods so I figured why not for $100.
Here's a quick TL;DR coming from a heavy Apple user:
Pros:
Sound is on par if not better in some cases with the AirPods Pro 2 (excluding the gimmicky Dolby Atmos/Head Tracking).
Battery Life is awesome - case lasts 2 weeks easily
EQ Adjustment
Noice cancelling is good in most environments
Cons:
Transparency mode doesn't come close to AirPods
Dual connection doesn't work well between MacBook and iPhone
Proprietary ear-tips
Adjust the EQ to your liking and you will love these if you want a good pair of noise cancelling earbuds. If you can live without the Apple proprietary features or if you are looking for a competitor, give these a spin and you will find that for the price, you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love these, especially getting them on sale for 69.99. I was looking for something to replace my Sony Linkbuds S without spending that Sony price. Sound quality is great (even at full price). I've been overall satisfied with all Soundcore purchases, and these are no exception. Sound is clear, bass is perfect to me on r&b equalizer setting. Only issue is the loud static sound in the right earbud when switching from normal to transparency mode. I find it loud and irritating enough that I won't switch modes often. Other than that, I would buy again. I would purchase these over the Sony.
