First of all, be aware that the 1-star reviews are because previous packaging for the 2023 iPad Pro case led people to think it fit the M4 Pro but didn’t. In Oct 2024 this an updated case that *does* fit the ipad Pro M4 and the packaging properly indicates 2024 version on it. I’m a Speck fan and have used their cases exclusively for my iPhones for many years. I chose this case for my iPad over a couple of other brands for its slim form and light weight. It gives good protection all the way around, rather than leaving the metal edges of the iPad exposed. The snap tab closure works well and the magnet holds my pencil in place very well. Sleep/wake works great. A major complaint however is that with this color, the purple with light gray interior, it leaves a nasty film of dusty residue all over the iPad glass which is very difficult to remove. See picture. I hope this film is not damaging my glass. I have had to use optical lens cleaner and soft cloth rubbing quite hard multiple sprays to remove the residue. It’s very annoying. I wonder if the black version of this case which has a black interior might be a better choice or if it just leaves a black dusty residue. When you’re putting a case on an item that cost over $1000, famous for its vibrant brilliant screen, you shouldn’t have have to deal with the case dirtying and obscuring the screen. Speck, please do better. Another con is that the stand usn’t very good at staying in tented position, it flops down with any movement.

Called speck who confirmed they knew of the issue but did not have ny options side from returns to store to offer when orobed about the 30 day / 1 year coverage. An absolute waste of time to now have to go to store to drop this off. Buy the apple cover from apple directly instead. Also adding pics of my last speck purchase, the mistakes in design that led to failure are repeated here.

I love the Speck Balance Folio Case in Plumberry Purple! The color is beautiful, and it fits my iPad Pro 11" (M4 chip) perfectly. The case is sturdy, lightweight, and has a secure magnetic closure. This is my second one of these. The first was for an older model and although the case was still in good shape it wouldn’t fit my new device. I love that it covers and protects the camera when not in use. The color is so pretty. The closure works great. Great product!

I love the texture of the case, it gives my iPad great protection, it doesn’t hinder the use if iPad and u can use it as a stand as well. I totally would recommend!

When I purchased my most recent iPad, I purchased the same case my wife purchased for her last iPad. It is lightweight and holds the iPad at many upright angles. I highly recommend it.

This fits perfectly and has a strong closure. I can prop up my iPad at several different heights.

Great folio case very sturdy and professional looking.

This is a solid case that offers good protection but isn’t overly bulky. I like that there’s a space for the Apple Pencil to securely snap in so that it won’t accidentally get lost. My one gripe is that the case doesn’t offer the sleep/wake feature when you fold the case over the screen. This is common is most iPad cases and is a bummer to not have.

The Speck Folio cases are the best value by far. There are no downsides and the use is straightforward. As far as protection, this case is very good. You can go ahead and purchase a big-name case and pay 3x the price and get very little added functionality.

It’s is perfect does its job made good would buy again

I got a new IPad for my wife and when she came back to store for support they sent her to Geek Squad. Then the protective cover another team member from my manager and it was the wrong thing. You must support sales. I am now not happy after buying 5 new top of the line tvs from them. You should get your customer support together. After spending a lot of money at Best Buy I would say Best Buy is what they don't support. I will not be using your store based on the service my wife go with the birthday present I got her. Work on it.
