Academy Award winners are NOT always very good films. This one however is amazing. The creators kept the main theme of Spiderman, while stretching it to new directions. After this version, we realize that we all have the potential to be a super hero; it doesn't have to reside with the privileged. The creators tried the daring task of creating an immersive 2D experience, placing the viewer in the constructs of a comic book world while maintaining both the traditional movie imaging, AND using hand drawn art mixed with CGI. It is a unique and amazing visual spectacular! Get it, whether you've seen it or not.

Missed this in the theaters and was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I can see why this won the Oscar for best animated film. The Atmos track is amazing. The picture quality is great as well. My only nitpick, the intentional artist intent of making certain background scenes blurry to represent the feel of reading a comic that had a printing error was a bit harsh on my eyes. Didn't really care for it. Otherwise, an awesome film and 4K Blu-ray.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray] [2018] is great

I saw this movie with a friend when it was first released. I loved the storyline, the animation, and the music. I purchased this movie because I thought my family would enjoy it, because they weren't able to see it in the theaters. They more than enjoyed it. My wife is not a huge comic book; my daughter isn't a superhero fan; and my son is just now coming around to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). They all LOVED Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse! I highly recommend owning this if it isn't already in your movie library.

Into the spider-man is probably one of, if not the best animated film to date. It also does everything you want from a superhero movie without being as generic as the other marvel introductory films. Everyone should watch this film if you're a fan of superheroes or animation

I went into this movie not expecting much, and I got the best Spider-Man movie, yet. The jokes almost all land and the action sequences are animated really well. I guess, when you think about it, all of the Spider-Man movies have had animated fight scenes... but still these look amazing. The 4K is top notch and you get a digital copy you can use with MoviesAnywhere (so iTunes, Google, Vudu, Amazon, Microsoft). If you’re slightly interested, I say check it out. If you want the best in visuals and sound, get the 4K copy.

Everything about this movie is great. Everything from the score, to the visuals, to the dialogue, to the characters, to the plot, etc. was spectacular. A lot of heart and effort was put into making this film. Date I say this is the movie, of this generation, to introduce someone to the character of Spider-Man. 2002's Spider-Man was the previous generation's movie to do that. I loved homecoming and all but that was a movie made for spider man fans. Spider verse is a movie for both long time fans and newcomers alike.

I haven't the words to explain why you shouldn't own this movie. I unfortunately missed the opportunity to see it in theater, but I knew very well that I'd pick it up once it released on blu-ray. I couldn't be happier with my purchase because this film is incredible. It's slick, funny, gorgeous, endearing, and inventive. I can't wait to watch it again with my wife as I've been bragging to her about it. This is the 1st MUST OWN movie to add to my collection in a long time and I couldn't recommend it more! 10/10

If you haven’t seen Spiderverse because you think it’s gonna be cheesy, or too silly, or whatever, please, please, please do yourself a favor and watch it. I had a different idea of what this movie was gonna be and didn’t give it due consideration, but after I watched it it became my favorite Spider-Man experience. The art, the style, the heartfelt nature of the story, the soundtrack, the humor, the cast - I mean, it’s all perfect. Trust me, I’m a person from the Internet. No, but really.

I've heard nothing but good things about the movie from both friends and critics alike, so I took the leap of faith and bought the 4K Blu-Ray based on their feedback alone. I was pleasantly surprised how good the movie was and it stands up there as one of the best animated superhero movies of all time. The animation and soundtrack is top notch with very well thought out story. It's a great movie for all ages and you'll see why this movie won an Oscar for best animated movie.

The art direction in this movie is fantastic! The soundtrack is also different from your average super hero movie and sometimes leads the scene over dialog. If you are fan of marvel and spider man it is highly recommended you pick up this movie.

Sony brings us Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in yet another excellent 4K + Blu-ray, with superb video and audio quality. The colors are vibrant and the audio is top notch. If you have a surround sound system, you won't be disappointed - and if you have a 4K TV, this is definitely a movie to show it off. The Blu-ray also brings a few behind the scenes featurettes, music video lyrics, and a few trailers. Highly recommended, especially if you're into superhero movies.

I have been kind of old school for big screen Spiderman, meaning Tobey Maguire is my Spiderman. I didn't really care for Andrew Garfield and that's nothing against him, just wasn't feeling it, and I don't knock anyone who does like the Garfield Spider movies. So I was skeptical on this one. I ended up loving everything about it. I would recommend this to anyone. I have it on 4K now after seeing it initially in the theater. Watch for end credits stuff too, excellent.

This is an excellent film! Miles is a truly relatable hero, with an awesome backstory. Although I feel as though Sony is doing their best to “mark” (in a canine sense) every Spider-Man character they can (Venom - which was a horrible movie), so that Marvel studios cannot get to them first, they actually did a good job. It is refreshing to see an American story, with non homogeneous main characters portrayed as individuals; not caricatures based on stereotypes.

Honestly it’s one of the best super hero movies ever made. Remember when you were a kid and you would wake up extra early to watch you favorite cartoon / show? Do you remember how you felt watching it? This movie will make you feel that again

I never had the privilege of seeing this movie in the theater, but just from hearsay, I bought this movie blindly. Let me just say this, I was totally blown away. Not only is this movie to be considered top animated movie of the year, I was thoroughly impressed by its art style, especially in 4K. The colors pop, the Dolby Atmos on my capable soundbar was amazing and I have watched this movie for multiple days successively upon its purchase. This is a must own!!!

I have always loved a good Spider-Man film, but this one takes the cake, folks. It was beautiful, hilarious, strange, sad, and moving, all at once. It was everything a Spider-Man movie SHOULD be, and more. If you think this is going to be just some silly cartoon, think again! It's better than every Spider-Man movie I've seen combined. The sense of nostalgia alone was worth the time. If you're a fan, don't pass this one by! And don't skip the credits!!!

I was blown away seeing this movie in theatres. I couldn't believe such a great movie was laid before my eyes. Spiderman is a great character, though I have to admit I do not share the same level of love of the character as others. But I have been so looking forward to finally getting a Miles Morales portrayed. Now if we can just get that in the MCU (no offense to Holland whom I think is fantastic), I just feel I have seen Peter Parker so many times.

I went to the theater to see this to mainly fill in some free time I had on a trip, and I walked away more impressed than I was expecting walking into the movie. I found the story very well written for a full CGI flick. The comic style imaginary is different but nothing you can't deal with. Seeing it in 3D at the theater was a little buggy to my eyes. The image quality on my 4k OLED looks good, and the overall Atmos track was decent and loud.

I'm not a big Spiderman fan but still managed to thoroughly enjoy this movie! Great story, excellent character development and pacing. It also has one of the absolute best cinematic scenes I've ever seen in my life.
