Great keyboard! Not the best price maybe in terms of value, but the actual vision they have around adjusting tension/sensors on a key by key basis is nothing short of pioneering genius.

The SteelSeries - Apex Pro Full Size Wired Mechanical OmniPoint Adjustable Actuation Switch Gaming Keyboard with RGB Backlighting - Black has given me no issues and works great.

Been using this keyboard for years, the only thing this needs is an update for it to be detachable with usb c but otherwise this is perfect.

This is the 100% one. I had the Corsair k70 and it was super sensitive even tho it had long key Travel. This has a software setting to adjust the keystroke activate and I love it. No more miskeystrokes. Just pony up and get this one.

Great keyboard nice and quiet. Space bar by default can be a bit annoying if you rest your finger there.

Great upgrade from the Apex 5…the adjustable switches are a huge plus. Definitely worth the money.

Awesome keyboard, it has so many features and set up options you can indulge in. The omni key response time can be set up to where you can barely touch the key and it response. Or if you want specific keys to respond on a harder key press. So you can adjust each key to its own sensitivity for you specific use.

The blue component of the RGB LED's failed on the F3 and 9 keys. I can only get a combination of red and green which produces yellow. I can't get cyan, white or purple anymore on these two keys. It was a sudden failure, not a gradual dimming. It failed after about 30 months and my 2 year Geek Squad protection plan has already expired since the purchase date of 2/28/2021.

I've had this keyboard for a year and a half. A few months ago one of my keys failed to light up in the properly configured color. I was already out of warranty so I didn't worry too much about it. However, it has continuously gotten worse and now 4 of my keys all do the same thing; the keys work when pressed but the LEDs fail to sync with the rest of the board. This is the best keyboard I have ever used. Is this the best value keyboard? No. I used a generic Brown Switch mechanical keyboard for years that was 1/6th of this price and it worked well, but the Apex Pro is on another level. The Omnipoint switches are unique and the main reason to buy this. Setting the actuation point you desire from 1-10 makes a big difference and the customization of per key and profile is what makes this keyboard such a high price. I usually keep the setting at 4. I do miss some of the tactile feedback of Brown Switches, but I feel as if I type faster on these (Red Switch equivalents, sort of). Different profiles can be assigned and switched between in real-time. The software is well featured and offers attractive RGB settings. The OLED screen? A neat feature but not utilized well enough. Magnetic palm rest? This should be standard on every keyboard as it is highly useful. USB passthrough? Works as intended. I have a USB hub running without issue off of it. Helps with cable management at the desk. If you have the budget, this is a very unique and worthwhile keyboard to own.

I always heard the sounds of this keyboard whenever I watched my favorite streamer and thought it sounded so satisfying (I recommend looking up some videos of the sound to see if it’s what you’re looking for) and always wanted to get it. One day he mentioned this was the keyboard he used so I ended up picking one up just cause I thought I could use a new keyboard and I can definitely say I don’t regret purchasing it at all. Coming from a very loud and clicky razer blackwidow chroma I realized that it’s a lot better to have a silent yet still satisfying mechanical keyboard rather than one that makes a bunch of background noise. I had the razer keyboard for about 3 years and I can definitely say that the click that you get from that keyboard, or any mechanical keyboard that makes clicking noises, can get annoying, especially when talking to people. But in my opinion, the apex pro completely puts the black widow chroma to shame. Although it’s a bit expensive and the price made me think twice at first I didn’t think about it at all as soon as I started using the keyboard. The keys feel so buttery smooth and satisfying to press and everything about the keyboard from the materials used to the sleek design makes me joyful every time I use it. It has some really cool presets for lighting and the LCD screen is a really nice feature to have. If you want a discreet, good quality keyboard that’s always a joy to use then look no further.
