Amazing Pool Cleaner – A Game Changer! I’m blown away by this new pool cleaner robot! Setup was a breeze, and within minutes it was gliding across my pool like a pro. It picks up everything—from leaves to fine dirt—and even climbs walls with ease. The water has never looked clearer. It’s quiet, efficient, and saves me hours of manual cleaning. Totally worth every penny! Highly recommend for anyone who wants a sparkling clean pool with zero hassle.

Couldn't be happier in the first 20 days of use. I set it to run 15 hours per day (no particular reason other than maybe extend life of parts?) and it is doing fantastic. I empty it about every 1.5-2 days and spray the basket w/garden hose. In that time period I've charged via/plugin twice (+ initial out of box charge) due to cloudy days. Really helping with the Cicada's and stuff the crazy Ducks (who aren't afraid of it) bring into the pool. Certainly helps keep my pool clean and reduces amount of usage of my Robot cleaner and Sand Filter stays very clean. It does have an iPhone app which I basically use it to pause it when I want to clean or simply see how long it's been running. It operates w/my Solar Pool Ionizer floating around and doesn't have a problem other than sometimes pushing it around till they separate. I received a notification once from the App stating one of the propellers was stuck...which turned out to be true due to a stick. Hope it lasts a few years because I think it is awesome.

Living on the edge of a canyon, my pool constantly collects leaves and debris. When my skimmer gave out before a pool party out of desperation not thinking this would be up to the task for my large pool. I was wrong. I got the Surfer S2 and it blew me away. It runs all day on solar (I live in San Diego so your mileage may vary), never gets stuck, and keeps the surface pristine. The app is easy to use, albeit probably unnecessary because the thing doesn't need me screwing up whatever its doing. It didn’t just replace my skimmer, it outperformed it. Couldn't be happier.

The surfer S2 was pretty much from box to pool. I downloaded the app while it did a quick charge as required. App set up and use is easy peasy. This bot is lightweight and does cruise over the sun tanning shelf, which is great! In the app, it's a quick changeover to manually drive, which is pretty cool and fun for you tech folks and the kids. I would suggest scheduling it to run when your filter is not. The current from my jets did push it around a little. Overall, cool new toy, and super stoked it's solar changed!

This thing is amazing. I leave it in the pool, it runs on a daily schedule and it’s easy to clean. Plus it actually cleans the surface really well. If you’re in the pool and leaves blow in you can simply turn on the button and let it clean around you while you swim.

The best money I have ever spent! It does a great job and holds a charge! I left it in the pool for extended periods of time over the last couple months and didn’t have to charge it even once. The solar panel works great. This skimmer also keeps you from having to vacuum as frequently.

Best money spent ! I have my pool cleaned once a week but for all the days in between this takes care of all the leaves ,bugs and debris that fall into my pool on the surface before it has a chance to sink to the bottom ( Also since keeps frogs out of the pool because they are scared of it)

I was excited to purchase this equipment as it was going to help me get through the heavy pollen season to clean my pool. The first few months it performed as expected, pool looked espectacular. The solar panel feature works like a charm. So, why the low rating. Two reasons: 1) After a short 5 months, the robot stopped working. The propeller gets jammed, and stops working. It is not sturdy at all. 2) I’m a Best Buy Total Rewards Member. I decided to purchase this equipment at Best Buy as I was under the impression that I would be covered and hassle free service. There were a lot better prices in the market. Heads up, it turns out that not everything is covered under the protection plan. If you are still a Total Rewards member, double check if what you are buying is protected.

We bought this in March and it is already broken. The electrical cord on one side of the machine caused a bubbling near the propeller. We had to contact Aiper as we are under warranty. If they fix the issue, I hope I can come back and update. As of right now we have had this 5 months and it is broken. You can see in the pictures that one side is cracked. It worked great for five months but is not worth the 430 we payed for it. That is about a 100 a month worth of service we recieved before it broke.

Setup was very easy. I have only had the device for 10 days or so, but was quickly amazed by how efficiently it kept the pool in prestine shape. I normally vacuum every few days, but this little guy kept the surface clean enough where debris was not dropping to the bottom, so can definitely extend time between vacuums. Battery life is excellent. I charged it only once the first time, and it kept going nontstop on the solar charger, never getting below 70% or so. I did start receiving an error that "propellor was stuck, please clean". The error would not go away even though it was clean and nothing was blocking the propellor. Turned out the right propellor stopped working. I contacted the Aiper support and they promptly worked to troubleshoot. They also offered to send a new replacement along with a prepaid shipping label to send back the defective one. The customer support was excellent. So only dropping one star since they are trying to make it right. One other feature request - it would be good if it not only showed the temperature outside (based on location you tell it), but if it also had a thermometer to tell you the temp of the pool water. I had to take our floating thermometer out since this skimmer would constantly take it along for a ride. Adding a pool temp gauge seems like a low cost, easy add to the unit. Other than that, this device (when working) is as perfect as it can get. Highly recommend as a must have for any pool owner.

This skimmer works amazingly well. It's cut down on the need to manually skim the pool to zero. Solar powered and I haven't had to plug it in to charge it yet. With just a few moving parts, it seems to be easily reparable if necessary. The only criticism I might have is that the top of each side has become scratched from the coping on our pool which extends slightly over the waterline. Even with that, it's made my pool maintenance routine much easier.

I previously had a Betta Bot, which lasted for two years. That one worked well, but was loud. Since I have a BB Total membership I wanted to give this a try. This thing is whisper quiet, you don't hear the motor at all. The mobile app works well, though I only use it to check the battery level. Will see in winter how long it stays charged, but there's also less bugs in winter to have to worry about it, but it will end the sunlight of day somewhere between 92-98% depending on rain for the day, run all night. Two days ago when sun went down battery was 94%, ran all night ran all day and rain came around 1pm and it was cloudy the rest of the day so it didn't get to charge much, continued running all night and I just looked and it's at 40%, super impressed. A few times it has popped up on the app that it's stuck, I haven't been home and ignored it, came back home and it was working fine. Love the deep basket for the bugs and leaves, much better than the betta bot.

We bought this to help keep our pool clean of debris and lessen the load on the pool skimmer. It works like a dream. I set a schedule for it to clean and clean it out at the end of the day. Our water stays clean of leaves, and whatever else might make its way into the pool. Being solar powered makes life easier. I can pull up the app and see the progress. It has made pool cleaning alot easier.

I purchased this to help with the large amount of debris that starts in fall. The huge oak leaves that drop and eventually go to the bottom of the pool fill up 3 baskets. I have one inline with the vacuum, the basket in the skimmer, and the basket in the motor itself. I wanted something that could help capture debris before it made it into the system. In that respect it works absolutely perfect. My pool is consistently clean. It gathers all of the tiniest debris, including pollen. I love seeing such a great product at work. My only complaint is its inability to work around the vacuum hose. Every time it comes in contact with the hose I get an alert (which is nice if I am home). If I am not home then it just keeps trying to go forward with no success. It has sensors up high to avoid items. It has little legs to keep it from hitting steps, but nothing to help it with a hose that is likely always in a pool. Also, when I first got it there was an error code I kept getting saying the propellers were stuck. I removed them, and popped them back in. There was nothing in it's way or stopping it from turning. Maybe it had to get going? Either way, it hasn't happened past that initial day. If you don't have a pool sweep then this is the perfect machine. If you do, then you will have to contend with the hose.

This is a great waterline skimmer! We have experienced a lot of cotton in our pool this summer and this works great to avoid the cotton plugging up the pool skimmers and filters! Also because of its solar capability, it can be left in the pool while we have it uncovered!

We have a wide open backyard with minimal shade and this thing never dies ! The solar power is awesome. The app is easy to use and awesome. Cleaning it is simple and awesome. I now mow the lawn and this bad boy gets all the grass that blows in and it’s awesome ! You own a pool with good sun exposure? Buy this. It’s awesome.

Let me start by saying this is required tech for every pool owner. We have 2 large trees in our neighbors yard. The Surfer S2 keeps a happy community, because no side at the neighbor when i go out to clean the pool. It is spring and the tree buds did shed and there were husk all over the yard...but not in the pool! At least not that I could see. Roger (our Surfer S2) worked NIGHT and day to give my "bottom feeder* robot and skimmer little work to do. We have the Surfer S1 and the S2 knocks it out of the park with a battery/solar combo that improves to provide 24x7 cleaning. I have charged it 1 time in now 3 weeks of cleaning! Only problem i have had is a stuck anti stranding bar in a first run unit. Still doesn’t stop the AWESOMENESS.

Press the power button once and let it swim all day and night. We've not had to charge it one time over the course of two months. Like others have stated, it'll work straight out of the box and continuously charge via solar. We only take it out of the pool whenever we need to swim or if it needs to be cleaned. The detachable container was super easy to take out and hose down. I highly recommend this product for any pool owner out there.

I love this pool skimmer. Keeps my pool clean, runs 24 hours. Charges while cleaning, picks up everything. Nothing falls back in pool. Picks up the tiniest bugs.
