Overall I have been very pleased with this NVR from Swann. It has some minor issues that I could not give it a full 5 stars but definately would recommend. Picture quality with this this system is excellent! I added the NHD-817 PTZ camera to this system and have not been disappointed. My only issues with this system are related to the methods of searching video and ease of use to playback video. Not as user friendly as I would like but manageable. The software to set up viewing on a windows computer is ok. I also think this is a work in progress as updates have recently been coming out. Remote viewing and playback of recorded video on my iPhone is a breeze. I would suggest having decent upstream bandwidth on your internet connection for quality remote viewing and playback.

This is a very good product, the quality is worth the price.

I recived this new 7300 3MP setup with 4 cameras. Nightmare of a tech support experince. The cameras setup easily, but the Swann view link app you use with this product is full of bugs and their tech support has poor 1st level based in the Philippines to the second level in Australia. The Swann App would not work to display the high resolution again this is a 1080P at 3MP HUH? and the playback would not work unless you did a firmware update, which can only be scheduled with 2nd level which makes it inconvenient as they only work limited hours. Hey SWANN wake up and support your customers better. The new firmware update now has caused my night settings to not save, my time zone to not save, when you reboot your dns setting don't save and my swann app still does not view playback again. I ask SWANN why put a product out untill you have it QA'd and supported correctly. Now a new swann app is pushed recently out. Yes, you can view the playback now , but when you view the setting with the app don't save and you must reset it each time and still no firmware update to fix the many issues mentioned above, but Live view works on a my ios devices in higher resolution the setting just don't save. I WOULD NOT! recommend it until they improve their products testing before releasing, getting better qualified tech support and improve overall process on how to support customers more effectively. I have had this product since August 2015 VERY DISAPPOINTED in SWANN!

This piece of junk kept having problems with the app and customer services.. and keep getting the run around with best buy and geek squad until my warranty was expired. Keeps glitching out and lose feed, don't waste your money.
