Customers admire the 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC All-in-One Zoom Lens for Nikon's image quality and versatility, frequently praising its performance for the price and ease of use, especially for travel. Many appreciate its ability to avoid the need for constant lens changes. However, some users note that the autofocus speed could be improved, particularly in low-light conditions.

I bought this to use while on vacation because it covers such a large range. It does a pretty good job and the VC is great for the longer shots. Not the best in low light. I included a few samples

For the price this lens turned out to be a great buy. I am not a professional, just a point and click type of person. It easily replaces the Nikon lenses on my Nikon 3200 while maintaining all the automated functions. I loved the fact I did not have to keep changing lenses. The pictures are just amazing. A great buy.

It's a decent all around lens. The focal range is very convenient. When it's closer to the 18mm range it is compact enough not to be burdensome. Are there better lenses out there? Absolutely! Even their own such as they Tamron 70-300SP. For $200 though it's a very utilitarian piece of equipment anybody can enjoy.

This is a quick focusing, light all around daily lens! Im not a pro, but the pics I get are crisp and focused. Using a d3500, crop sensor equals to a 300mm lens. Very happy with it for the cost. I wanted the 18-400, but cant swing $650 now.
For hiking, wildlife and close ups Im happy.
Only con- if you use it, what dust on the barrel gets sufked inside.

This was a decent lens for my Nikon camera at a very reasonable price. Less than half the Nikon brand. Connects to camera and takes good pics.

Great lens for the money, great for short distant shooting, could have been just a little more wider coverage shooting other than that I have no complaint. have used Tamron lens in the past

I bought this all purpose lens to help me to travel light with my camera and for its versatility. It's not as good as a Nikkor, but it received good reviews which also cited it's weaknesses. Does well outdoors and it took some good photos of the fat moon last month. A little slow with focusing in low light but it does well for a beginner's glass.

I Purchased this lens for our vacation because I didn't want to pack a bunch of lens. I was a little weary of the lens because of the low price. I have to say the lens took great pictures and performed better than expected on my Nikon 5300. I love not having to switch lens. Its a simple lenses to get close ups.

have Nikon d3500 and the 2 lenses were not the most amenable to me, always having to change lenses or guess which one would work-using short and long distances. that meant having to always have my camera bag with me and changing lenses. recommended to get this lens by Best Buy rep, knowlegeable about cameras and understood what I was trying to do, how I was using the camera. suggested this lens and works beautifully. I only have to carry one lens-can do short and long distance shots with one lens. less things to carry on my hikes. clear pictures. hood came with lens. easy to operate.

I bought this hoping for better results. After using it on a D7500 Nikon, I realized that it was a mediocre lens. If you’re absolutely limited to $200 on a lens, get it. If not, pay more and get more.
Wasn’t impressed with the image quality at all. Colors were bland and not exactly as sharp as I was hoping for. I ended up returning it and getting a Tamron 18-400 for $649. Much more expensive, but twice the zoom and much better image quality.

I purchased this lens because I was taking photos of a Karate tournament, the 2 lens that came with the Nikon D5600 weren't useful because one lens stopped at 55 mm and the other lens started at 70 mm. I needed a lens that would go from about 30 mm to 200 or 300 mm. Which was perfect for the photos of the karate tournament. I would definitely recommend this lens.

I am new to photography so take everything I say with that understanding. I wanted an upgrade from the 18-55 Kit lens, and I saw this Tamron. I loved the price and versatility of a 18-200 lens. It has taken the place of my kit lenses for one month but that is where the love stops. I discovered that the images are not as sharp as the kit lenses especially at low aperture settings. I do not even use 18mm at 3.5 because of the lack of sharpness. I spent more money but purchased a much sharper lens, the Nikon 18-140. So, in summary I would say it has a fast focus, feels quality, long warranty period and the VC feature works great but the lack of sharpness ended the deal for me. I still have it and probably will not return it but I am not sure exactly how I'm going to use it? Maybe in terrains that if its damaged I won’t cry as bad as I would with the $500 Nikon.
