I can't stress how great this deal is. My dad needed a new TV and something bigger than his 43 inch. I saw this and was cautious because of how cheap it was but it is better than I expected. It is bright unlike the last tcl I was looking at years ago. The color is good as well but you have to go in and tweak it because it is a little off. It isn't perfect out of the box. This is a great TV if you don't care about 120hz. My dad doesn't care or understand why it's a big deal and doesn't have anything that needs 120hz. I also didn't set it up with Internet. He just needs it for a Laptop and streaming box with its own remote and apps. The slow google TV that people talked about isn't a problem. Also it doesn't come with mounting screws for a stand. You need 4 M6 12mm so get a set or get a new stand. I wouldn't recommend the included stand. I attacked some photos of Avengers endgame and it looks amazing just be sure to turn off motion settings. I agree with other reviews when they say it doesn't look good like more expensive TVs. Text is readable and everything for him is perfect. If you have a relative it is a great TV. Remote is super easy to use. Just don't use voice controls or connect it to the Internet. Use a other device like a fire stick, PlayStation etc. If I didn't already have a LG C1 I would pick one up but I can't go back from 120hz. In the pictures the brightness is at 80 and can go brighter. Buy this before the sale ends or they run out of stock. Delivery was also super easy and they were on time.

First TCL I have owned and did not disappoint. This was for my game room and was kind of hesitant. I definitely do not regret it at all. This has been way better than expected. The picture quality is amazing and the Googke built in was the big seller for me. I use Android TV boxes a lot and the Google saves me from using a box now. I definitely would recommend thus TV if anyone wants one for Gaming or Streaming. I couldnt be happier with this purchase and the price..

Got it on the black friday sale and it’s great for the price. It was a significant upgrade from my last tv that was really old and small. It was really easy to set up, took probably 10 minutes. Comes with the stand and screws. The picture is great and everything seems to be working great. There is some slowness/delay when exiting or opening apps, but nothing too serious. However the tv is really reflective, so I wouldn’t recommend it for bright rooms unless you want to keep the brightness at 100% all the time. I use mine mostly at night so I don’t have an issue with this. The remote is a little weirdly designed because there’s a huge chunk of it at the bottom that’s just there with no buttons. It could definitely be smaller than it is. Also I wish the buttons have backlight so I can see them at night but it’s not a huge deal. I will also be using this tv for gaming but I have yet to test it. Wanted a 120hz tv but got this one since it was such a good deal, will see how it does with gaming.

I tell you what, combine this with streaming services and it will knock your socks off. The 4K is stunning and doesn't time out and shut down like some other brands do. I have another tcl and this remote by is far the best they or others have come up with. Really intuitive and minimal, without too much or too few controls. The pausing and jumping is way easier than any other smart sets we have, I can work the remote in complete darkness purely by feel. I was really worried about the low price....but it didn't disappoint. Same on the audio, definitely above average for this price range. They made it where it sync's really well with your different google accounts.... took less than minute to lock in your YouTube account using your phone's QR scanner..... No more having to type everything in...crazy easy.. They really got it right, even the settings control is the fastest and easiest I've even used, way better than the Samsung's... The biggest regret, is I wish I had years ago. I wish it had time shifting upto 90 mins on live TV like the other 1K tcl we have..that will spoil you. But really don't watch live tv anymore, the other features have kicked that aside.. This was such a success, already eyeing another 65" TCL for another room. And this is following a Sony, Samsung, and a Fire tv, all of smart 1K's. Again this remote does circles around all the others.. If you get this...get Disney+ and start a whole new life...all those block busters will blow you away on this set.

I had been looking for an additional 4k tv to set up alongside my 70 inch tv in my basement. When I received the tv I decided to place it in my bedroom instead and I am glad I did. The picture on the TV is amazing. Got it on sale for Black Friday so I wasnt expecting much from picture quality, but man this team has a great picture. I would say the picture is better than my 55 inch Samsung 8000 series and my Vizio 70 inch m7 tv. Both which cost way more. I am sold on TCL and will be making TCL my TV brand of choice in the future.

I was in the Market for a NEW 55" TV and the price and the reviews met my expectations. The sound is very good in my opinion, campared to my old JVC. The Picture quality is really good as well. The color on some shows is a little tricky to dial in but there are plenty of settings to help you do that. There are enough connections for my electronic needs. I don't play videos games often so that really wasn't a concern. I also like the upscaling of older films and videos. The Remote is very intuitive and easy to use. For the price I would definitely recommend this TV.

I am a couple months in and really could not be much happier. The only drawback thus far is my wife said she could not get HBO max to work on this tv. But it works on our other one so I'm not worried. Could be operator error. It's bright, clear, and sounds great. I got this TV for less than $300 brand new, which feels like a steal (black Friday). It's easily worth more honestly.

TCL - QLED is OMG, strong blacks and crisp color with bang on brightness. Best bang for the buck according to me as the TV provides competitive picture quality and features, only downside is that the TV speakers are okay and one might need to add soundbar for bigger rooms. This replaced my RCA 65” that lost the picture about 1 year after purchase. All I had was sound. A very expensive radio with blank screen! The TVL is great with vibrant colors and sharp detail. There are no shadows or shades that don’t belong in the picture. If I wanted this year Apple TV I could get it easily. The TCL is ready.

Amazing television. I got this under black friday deal and trust me the quality of the tv is better than lg and samsung model with comparable value. I am enjoying 4k content alot and vibrant colors are amazing. Surprisingly sound quality is pretty decent to at such price point.

What's good about it: the color is fantastic, so bright and vivid that I noticed a clear difference. It's smooth with it's UI and I like how if I turn on a gaming system, it will automatically change to that HDMI. It was super easy to sign in to things as well. The picture attached is a game that's pretty colorful, but it's even more so on this TV. What isn't the best: the remote it came with is very sensitive. I feel I could whisper and it would change to another app. And I don't know if this is an issue with our streaming apps or the TV, but it lags sometimes. Like a few good seconds before it'll catch up.

This TV is awesome with fantastic picture and the colors are brilliant. Best TV for the money we have found. We bought 2 one for a spare room and one for a Christmas present. Should have bought more.

I am very happy with the decision to get this one. I knew nothing about TV in the beginning. I was waiting for Black Friday to get the new TV. I walked into the store on Tuesday night with overwhelming because of too variety of sizes and brands. I went back home and start making the research for the specifications and read the reviews. I went back the next day to get it and it was the last one in the store. I am happy after setting up and so excited about Google TV. It has a lot of free streaming to watch and fascinating sharply picture. It might a little bit slow loading while I switched the app but not that bad. However, it bangs for the buck.

Great TV for the price of $230. I hooked up my old UHD TCL 55" tv and put them side by side with the same youtube video - QLED was much less grainy and was much brighter. Definitely worth it if you need another TV and can't afford paying at least triple this price for an OLED. I did grab a budget sound system on sale for $100 to make the audio much better.
