This TV delivers truly stunning visuals! I am beyond impressed!
The contrast is deep, colors are incredibly vibrant, and the brightness makes HDR content look phenomenal, even in well-lit rooms. Fast-paced scenes are handled smoothly, making it great for movies, sports, and gaming alike.
The sound quality is equally impressive—rich, clear, and immersive, with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X adding depth to everything you watch.
Smart features are intuitive and easy to use, with built-in voice control and support for all major platforms like Chromecast, AirPlay, Alexa, and Google Assistant.
It also looks fantastic in the room with its sleek, ultra-slim design. A fantastic all-around TV that nails both performance and style.

I bought this television wanting something larger for my living room. It has a clear, sharp picture with really good sound. It also works well with a sound bar- I’ve used it both ways. You will be well pleased with this one. I am.

I bought this tv after my 6 year old samsung tv finally gave out and let me tell you the difference in quality is night and day. Every color pops on this TV and the blacks are nearly like an OLED. What really impressed me though is the refresh rate, no longer having to sacrifice slow refresh rate in order to play video games is a huge plus. The google TV integrated is amazing, previously I had a 4k streaming box and now I dont have to use it since its the same thing but integrated into the TV itself. The quick settings on the TV make changing audio input and brightness a breeze. At first after reading countless reviews I though this TV was not going to be bright enough but let me tell you this thing gets BRIGHT especially at night its nearly blinding I have to turn it down to 40 percent brightness. My only gripe with the TV was the remote, I have a soundbar that does not have ARC to control via hdmi so I had to use the remote that came with the soundbar. To fix this I had to purchase a One For All TCL remote and program the volume buttons to work with both the TV and soundbar. After fixing this the setup was perfect. Trust me for your money this TV is miles away from the competition. They showed this TV off at CES 2025 (the 100 inch version) and I was blown away by the picture quality and the price could not be beaten by their competitors.

Out of the box its quality is great. But if you're willing to invest a little time to calibrate the settings, as I have, then you can get some really stunning results. And I don't have any professional equipment or software, either - just my eyes and ears. So anyone can do the same if the desire is there. Here are our results with our set.
4K DV, HDR+: OTB - stunning, Calibrated: near perfect
4K HDR: OTB - great, Calibrated: stunning
Sub 4K HD: OTB - very good, Calibrated: great, some stunning
SD: OTB - decent (on par with most other sets), Calibrated - quite good (on par with some other sets)
Motion Handling: OTB - great, Calibrated - excellent
Internal/On Board Apps: Those are all we use, and the ones we use all work flawlessly.
Sound: We use a Samsung HW-Q800C soundbar and SWA-9500S rear speakers. We tried the internal sound system of the TV, and it just doesn't compare. But with Passthrough mode over HDMI eARC, the sound via the soundbar/speakers is excellent. Two caveats. 1) TrueHD tracks are converted to Dolby PCM Surround tracks via Dolby MAT, but since they're both lossless formats, we don't notice any difference, but 2) PCM Surround (5.1 and 7.1) tracks are downmixed to PCM Stereo tracks, and the difference is easily noticeable. I contacted TCL about both over multiple backs and forths, and in the end they closed the issue saying it's our soundbar's fault, which is bogus, since the same tracks from the same files played into the same soundbar from a ShieldTV device are unaltered, and the soundbar plays them flawlessly, both as TrueHD and PCM Surround. So TCL just doesn't want to admit that it's their problem and then fix it. Sad. All other tracks and formats/codecs are sent unaltered to the soundbar and played flawlessly. So outside of primarily the PCM Surround downmix to PCM Stereo issue, the sound processing is great.
Off Angle: Our seating goes only about 45 degrees to each side, and within that range the picture quality never diminishes. So they've done a great job there. It does diminish some at closer to 90 degree angles, but it's not horrible even there.
Light Reflection: We have ceiling lights a few feet from where the TV is mounted, and with them on you can see some reflection. But for most scenes, it's diminished pretty well, although you can still see it if you're specifically looking for it. With darker scenes, though, yes, it's clearly visible, and it even produces some interesting rainbow streaks then. We've adjusted by simply going to room lighting that is farther away, as well as table lamps below the level of the TV, and that fixes it for us. And of course, when we watch it with no lights on, there's no issue at all. And the ambient light from windows is never a problem for us.
We don't play video games, so we have no review there.
Summary: Overall, this is the near perfect TV for us, so we give it 5 stars. 4 is too low for the only issue we've had that doesn't have a work-around - the PCM Surround downmixing to PCM Stereo over HDMI eARC. It's really stupid of TCL to not fix this, especially given that they convert TrueHD to Dolby PCM Surround, so they obviously have the ability to output PCM Surround. Still, that one issue doesn't warrant dropping it to 4 stars. So there you have it. Happy viewing!

I recently bought the TCL QM7K and it’s been a fantastic value for the price. The Quantum Dot tech delivers vibrant colors and sharp contrast, making movies and shows look stunning, especially with Dolby Vision support. For gamers, the 4K at 120Hz and HDMI 2.1 are a big win, offering smooth, lag-free gameplay.
The sound is decent but not amazing, so I’d recommend adding a soundbar for a better experience. The Google TV interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, with plenty of app options.
For the price, this TV gives a premium experience, with impressive picture quality and solid gaming performance. Definitely recommend if you’re after a budget-friendly, high-performance TV!

I couldn’t believe how good the picture looked when I went to Best Buy. This QD-Mini LED has nice inky blacks that are close to OLED but with the advantages of no burn in and having great brightness. When shopping for a tv, I was worried about off angle images because most LEDs lose color and brightness if you are viewing the screen from the side. This model has a new HVA panel that helps control the viewing angles. While not 100% it’s still a lot better than our 2 year old Samsung tv. The speakers also sound very good. One benefit this tv has over Samsung is that it supports Dolby Vision. I watched Avatar in Dolby Vison and the picture was amazing. I was debating between this model and the QM6K but I went for the QM7K because it has a nicer stand, better build quality, brighter, has more dimming zones and more. The QM6K is still a nice tv but I couldn’t resist the QM7K and got it on sale.

So far so good. This TV has great sounds in a wide open room. We have yet to get the surround sound and, while we still will, we'll probably wait since it's already great as a standalone. Color is good and eye intelligent setting refreshes brightness in a window filled room, as needed. I switched from Samsung so I'm still getting used to the different UI settings and commands, but it's a good UX and feels like a much better TV for the price.

TCL QM7K provides great image brightness and renders colors quite well. Sound quality is surprisingly good, with noticeable base coming from the rear firing woofers.
Apps run quickly on this platform and can handle switching between apps is easy enough. Coming from a basic 2019 LG to this tv was a huge jump, so going to an even higher model TV wasn't necessary. Buy this in confidence.
Note that the box for the 65' just fit inside of a Toyota minivan, so transporting in the vertical position is possible.

The picture on the TV is very nice. There are many adjustments that I still want to play around with.
The remote control is HORRIBLE. I'm sure it's probably a learning curve, but I'm still unsure how to use some of the buttons. It's quite difficult for my husband who has vision problems. The circle at the top, left, right up, down, etc doesn't light up, so that's an issue.
I HATE the stand. It is quite sturdy, however, we attached it at second from the bottom holes, which by measurement should have allowed plenty of room for the soundbar. It doesn't. My soundbar won't sit close to the tv because the stand is large and slopes forward. It is completely impractical to try to reattach the stand to the one notch lower. The tv is extremely heavy and we didn't feel safe leaning it forward and gently placing it on the padded table without hurting the screen. We'll need to place a thick piece of plywood under the stand and hope it will allow it to set far enough above the soundbar ... which is only 2" tall. I'm having to raise my arm to get aim at the sensor. I've tried setting the remote on RF instead of IR. I guess I'll need to continue to play with it.
This model has Google TV. I switched from Roku, thinking I didn't like Roku. In hindsight, I was having trouble with my old tv, not the Roku. Roku is super simple. The remote is super simple. Hopefully I'll adapt soon.

After much research, I decided to give TCL a try. So far, it hasn't disappointed me. This is my second TCL TV, and the picture is very good, with a good refresh rate and impeccable image quality. Google OS works perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Awesome TV, Awesome price, great purchase. Great value for money proposition. I have a Sony OLED TV and it amazes me as to how TCL have improved their picture quality over the years. Great blacks and accurate color saturation, motion smoothness to deliver impeccable picture quality out of the box. Amazed with this product. Makes a strong case as to why I should pay a premium price for a similar specced Sony product. Way to go TCL.

Great tv. The Google tv system is very nice, but the picture is the driving force for this set. I selected the Filmmaker option for the picture setting and couldn't be happier. Inky blacks, sharp contrast, and no sparkles. I also have a Bravia 9 and the QM7K is very competitive.

Seriously impressed by how good this TV is. Bought it last month hearing good things and it was on a great sale so I took the chance. This thing is insanely good. The dimming zones get you pretty close to OLED quality, and while you might occasionally get a little bit of haloing, you can remedy that with a recalibration. The gaming features are great and it pushes high frame rates like a champ. Not to mention the speakers, which have effectively made my (admittedly midrange) Sony soundbar obsolete. If you’re looking for a TV that hits all the marks without being thousands of dollars, you’ve found it.

Great value TV. But not a great option if you want to use multiview. I just used it for week 1 with NFL Sunday Ticket. But if only watching 1 game at a time, hard to find a better value. Picture is great and refresh rate is awesome.
