This TCL TV delivers outstanding picture quality. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and brightness is excellent, making movies and shows look amazing. The Mini-LED technology really makes a difference, especially in dark scenes. Motion is smooth and the image stays sharp even during fast action. Setup was simple, and the smart features are fast and responsive. For the price, this TV offers incredible value and premium performance.

Great quality & absolutely amazing size. Feels like a cinema at home. There’s a huge difference between traditional LED (or QLED) and QD-miniled. One con is that the TV is not as bright as higher end products but that’s to be expected due to the price point. Would still definitely recommend purchasing, especially if it’s on sale. FYI disable motion clarity enhancement — it makes the image “too smooth” and doesn’t feel natural.

The clarity is razor-sharp; whether you’re watching 4K nature documentaries or the latest action flick, the contrast is punchy, and the blacks are surprisingly deep and almost OLED pixel shut off black, with very little "blooming or haloing" (that annoying glow around bright objects on a dark background). I was braced for a complicated setup given the size, but it was incredibly simple and intuitive. The Google TV interface is snappy and had me signed into my apps in minutes. Connectivity is where this TV really shines: It handles the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 beautifully. I picked this up as an open-box unit and saved a massive amount of money. Best Buy inspects these units thoroughly, and they often come with the same warranty as a brand-new set. It’s easily the best way to get an 85-inch beast of a TV while keeping your budget intact. ​The TCL QM5 85" offers a cinematic experience that punches way above its weight class. It’s bright, smart, and a dream for gamers.

Quality ,picture ,and price is excellent, Not being able to access the spectrum app is the only problem on the app store but bestbuy employee was very clear about that lol

Purchased 3 for church sanctuary. One of the 3 did not work, but Best Buy exchanged for another and now all are installed and congregation is thoroughly better visibility!

Quality of image is amazing with motion control only tolerable, BUT after a bit over 2 months the tv died yesterday. Wow, tcl warranty support is beyond what you could comprehend. Made contact on phone, but then it goes to email contact and you need to send in a video of defect - ie.. black screen. Did that only to receive a reply saying the video did not show the edges of the tv and I needed to make another video; awaiting response to second video - even showed the back of the tv this time!! I have read reviews online about tcl warranty experiences and this is their normal response. ( kind of like insurance companies declining coverage.) Will update my review if there is a more positive action, but the initial response has been lacking and like I say 'typical for tcl'. The attached picture was from first video showing "not enough screen to see that tv is dead"

This TV is great for the price. I wanted a big TV just to watch TV and sports but didn't wanted to spend lots of money for that. This TV was a perfect fit for that. It has great brightness, the colors look great. When watching TV in HD is better to stream it at 1440p because the images look better than in full 2K. I don't think is the best TV for playing video games that require framing rates greater than 60 Hz. If you are watching TV that comes at 60 Hz, this TV will do just great for you. Overall, it is a great product for watching TV and movies that is at a great price.

This tv has such good color!! Just the perfect size we wanted. Have so many great things about it and it's easy to use the remote!

Better than I thought possible. Not many 8k HDMI ports but the remote lights up lol Dolby sound and picture is fantastic. Works amazingly with PS5 & xbox.
