This TV rocks! I am a first time TCL buyer and I am amazed by the colors and ease of set up. Very well packed, no damage at all during shipping. An 85 inch tv for less than $1300 is a bargain in my opinion. Buy this!

Like others have stated you may need to do some image / audio tuning to get the picture and sound that fits your liking, but this TV has a ton of options to get what you want. I was going to use my FireStick 4K (plugged in via HDMI), but I found the built-in Google TV to work great, plus using the native Google TV allowed me greater control over the picture (when using Firestick I had less control over picture and sound). Overall Loving this TV, 4K video is crystal clear, and even 1080p images look brilliant and clear at this size. Recommend this TV - my couch is 19' from the TV and even at that distance its bright and easy to view. Also should be noted the sound is really good for a built-in speaker.

This is a beautiful set in picture and design. I was worried it would be too big for the living room, but it fits perfect on it's stand ( I will eventually mount it on the wall), and doesn't throw the room off. I'm so impressed with the picture and sound quality. My only issue so far, because I was used to an Amazon-based set instead of a Google-based set, is figuring out which apps are not available. I can get over that though!

Upgraded from a 2015 Vizio 80” TV and so glad we did! Wanted the ability to stream without external devices so we could dump Dish! It’s been great! Picture and sound are outstanding and even better when programming is in 4K! Definitely need help if hanging on wall since it weighs about 88lbs but wasn’t too bad. Have had it about 3 weeks and loving it so far! And wife is blown away by the picture so if she’s happy, I’m even happier!

Great TV, was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality on all the different streaming services. The picture quality when watching football on YouTube TV was excellent. When my wife, who normally could care less about picture quality says "that looks great" I know that this is a keeper. The step up to the 85 inch TCL from a 75 inch Sony has been a nice upgrade.

Purchased 85” last week. I am not tech savvy, but for a general user i am very gappy with my purchase. This television has outstanding and sound without using an additional sound bar. Mounting the TV took some thought because of the speaker in the middle of the back. The use of spacers and ilonger screws overcame this issue with no problems. The only problem that I encountered is that TCL does not support Spectrum Television. The addition of a Roku 4K+ streaming stick over came this problem. Overall i am very impressed with this television.

Very impressed with picture. Color and quailty looks good. Easy to navigate controls. Motion control is great on fast moving images, Geek Squad did a great job installing on wall and hiding wires inside wall with additional electrical connections,

I originally bought this tv in a 65” but decided 85” fit our soace better. Was back and forth between the sony X90L and this. The sony had some bad reviews. But this is gorgeous. The bass is great for out of box but i have a polk sound bar coming tomorrow. Have a home theater in your home. The tv is fast and responsive. Very very happy.

After having the TV delivered I turned it on and noticed the screen was cracked. Not going to knock the rating based on that. Ended up paying $400 since the 85” Hisense U8N went on sale. Not sure what I am missing on the TCL but if its anywhere near the quality of the U8N it definitely is worth the money. I read the TCL QM8 would be more comparable and beats the Hisense U8N which would be a sight to see. Only time will tell the reliability but so far I feel its definitely worth the money to not go cheap but not break the bank at the same time. Only regret is not going with 100”

Awesome TV. Replaced my Samsung 75 inch TV because it broke. Very happy with tcl and Google tv. So far, so good. Actually had to modify my mount but it works great. No problems and loving the view.

Overall impressed by my 85” TCL. Picture is excellent. I don’t see any lag in the motion. One of the better TVs I have bought in years. Had for over a month and it impresses me more and more every day.

What a bargain. Big, voluptuous & crystal clear picture. Best picture I’ve ever had. UI is well thought out and easy to navigate. I’d buy this TV again and again.
