Wow! The TCL - S-Class S65K 5.1 Channel Soundbar strikes me as one of those rare products that simply out-classes its price-range. The last time I had a full 5.1 system was over a decade ago and I paid 5x the price of the TCL S65K, the set-up was a pain, and the sound was not even close to what this package offers. I expected improvements, but not such a drastic jump in quality and power as I’m enjoying with the S65K. Set up could not have been easier. Once the main bar was turned on, the subwoofer and satellite speakers all connected automatically as soon as they were plugged in. The S65K offers a number of standard input connections needed for modern systems. It also includes a feature where it will work with the TV’s own speakers as part of the overall sound scheme. Additionally, there’s an App that, among other things, provides the ability to dial in the whole system automatically once it’s been set up! As for quality, the sound significantly surpasses all of the previous TV sound solutions I’ve used - from small speakers, single sound bars, and older full systems. I was blown away. Actually, it’s almost too powerful. I sometimes like to have the quiet sound of an ocean beach playing in the background when I work on projects. With the S65K, I had to set the volume on ‘0’ to get it low enough. It works fine, just surprisingly powerful. I use a laser projector in my personal setup. This makes it necessary for me to connect sound from my AppleTV to the S65K via bluetooth. This has worked flawlessly with no discernible lag. I am completely impressed with the TCL - S-Class S65K 5.1 Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar system. It is an amazing product for an unexpectedly good price. Highly recommended.

This soundbar delivers great surround sound quality with big sound and powerful bass. The power and quality of this soundbar surprised me for its price. Setup is easy, it's plug and play with the components automatically pairing. However, I do have one complaint - the power cords for the satellite speakers and subwoofer are too short. They're just over 4 feet and I needed an extension cord for each one of them to place them correctly and reach a wall outlet. Had those power cords been 6 feet long I wouldn't have needed any extension cords. The system is designed so that the satellite speakers can be placed front or rear and calibrated with TCL's Ai Sonic auto room calibration. I tried both, I think rear placement gives the better surround sound. I like the design of the subwoofer being raised two inches off the floor by extension of the cabinet sides, giving two inches of open space front to back for sound dispersion. It gives clean bass sound throughout the listening area without any distortion or muffling. The system can be controlled by either the include remoted control or the TCL Home app. The app is needed to complete the Ai Sonic calibration. The remote does everything else imaginable - channel volume and bass/treble control, sound mode, input selection, music media controls, muting, Bluetooth pairing, AV sync, surround on/off. The system includes the soundbar, subwoofer, 2 satellite speakers, the power cords, HDMI cable, hardware and template for wall mounting, User Guide, remote and batteries for it. This great sounding home theater system is a great value. You won't be disappointed if you buy it, but have extension cords handy.

I have a single story home and I would say my living room is on the average to smaller side, the house is older. Throughout the years I've used a few different types of soundbar and at different price points. I have to say that audio technology is getting so much better and the price point is also getting so much better. The s65k sounds 10x better with a ton more features than the soundbar i bought years ago, at the quarter of the cost. It is a 5.1 channel set up with wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. I found the wireless speakers makes a world of difference in letting me be immersive in a movie or any gaming I am doing. And it being wireless, it makes it so easy to adjust to a position that works best in any room. The AI room calibration feature will also help you with this. I don't know how much a difference it made, but I gotta assume AI is smarter than me. LOL. The speakers are dolby atmos and dts capable and with good speaker placement, really did give me sense of 3-d sounds. It is definitely going to give you an advantage if you are a gamer wanting to be able to have directional sounds. This soundbar punches above it's pay grade. It is an incredible value considering the sound to cost ratio and I can't stop raving about it.

I got this system to add a proper surround system to my projector setup in my basement. I liked the few tcl tv's I or my friends have had. Value friendly and work reasonably well. I like this set up a lot because of value price point, and you get the 2 rear wireless speakers with it for the rear. First off, setup was easy. Pairing the sub no issues. The surrounds were pretty easy also, but I have to note it did not work right away because of too far of distance between the center channel and the surround speakers. I closed the gap on them a bit on second try and they connected easily. Via hdmi, this thing does quite well, I customized the sound levels of the rear and sub speakers individually, and there are several equilizer settings. All work well. The sound fills the large room easily, and dialouge sounded well during action scenes in movies. The surround is impressive with scenes like the opening of Apocalypse now, the chopper sounded above and moved left to fight in the sound, like it was with me live. Overall, this little set is tough to beat. It does not have a voice assistant, but generally I will have it bluetoothed to my phone, so I have all I need there. I do reccomend this, 5 stars.

This TCL - S-Class S65K 5.1 Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer was easy to modify and upgrade my existing home theater setup. The sound bar synced and paired with the back speakers and subwoofer with no issues. Setup took about 20mins from unboxing to watching tv. I downloaded the TCL home app to adjust the levels to my preferred audio levels, but unfortunately the app would not connect to the sound bar system no matter how hard I tried. That was a bummer for sure and made it a challenge to customize the audio setup. The sound bar does sound really good at its factory out of the box settings and you can use the remote to adjust the mids, bass, and treble. It takes a little longer to get the customization done this way, but works. I find the audio quality to be pretty good, it is easy to hear the dialogue in tv shows and movies. Music sounds great in surround sound. The rear surround sound speakers are nice and subtle giving movies that nice theater experience at home. I do find that even though I’m using the Bravia Sync on my Sony TV, when I switch the inputs on the TV from my Roku input to my regular over the air tv input the audio doesn’t come on. When I change the input on the TV, I have to turn the tv off and turn it back on to reset it to hear the audio. That has been really frustrating to deal with. Overall the TCL - S-Class S65K 5.1 Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer sounds great and it is a nice upgrade to my home theater system. Overall I’m happy with the upgrade to my home theater and enjoying the sound quality of the TCL system.
