We wanted to save money on the cost of cable tv. The antenna we chose was a great choice. We knew nothing about antennas. It was easy to install and it works great. Good reception and picture. We get several channels, including local news. I would recommend this antenna to anyone wanting to save on the high cost of watching tv these days .

I purchased this Antenna after cutting the cord with Cable TV. Works fantastic and it has a program guide when viewing a program. HD picture quality. Very satisfied and easy to set up. Only downside is the when viewing the guide it is showing in EST instead of CST. Will contact the manufacturer to see if I can change it. I am very Happy with this Brand and Model!

I live in an apartment in a metropolitan area. As with apartment living, the only placement for the television is away from the window. With the short cable on the antenna the only way I could get reception was to lay it on its face and point it towards the window. Event then it only sensed a small portion of the signals available and every time someone walked into the room the reception was interrupted. I had to add an extension cable and place it in the window to get decent reception. Still, it's the best reception I could get after trying three brands. If it had a longer cable I might give it four stars instead.

Only receive one channel, and that cuts in and out. Certainly doesn't do what the sales clerk said it would do. Definitely not worth the price.

    Powerful Antenna

Unfortunately, this antenna was not able to receive signals from all stations in my area. It was not able to pick up the 2 stations that broadcast their signals on VHF. My apartment unit is on the 2nd floor of a high rise building that faces the south and the broadcast towers are 11 miles north of the complex. I decided to keep this unit as it performed better than other antennas and I may be able to use it in my next apartment.

Good product, says it gets a about 50 channels but in all gets about 30 because some channels are the same bujt different image quality, about 6 1080p channels around my area so no so bad.

I've had a couple of different digital antennas in the past but they all had shortcomings. This model does much better than they did. The range is enough that I get all the local Philadelphia stations plus some from farther away. Setup was easy. It took a little bit if time to find the best place for it to get all the stations clearly. The picture is better than what one gets with cable. I use it with an Xbox One and it allowed me to get rid of cable.

We had purchased other antenna' s and while watching a program the Tv would freeze. And could not get all local channels. We went in and bought this antenna which we are very happy we did. We now have a clear picture and we get all the local channels.

Overall I am happy with the performance of this HD Antenna. My only complaint is the cheap screws that came with the base. The heads stripped immediately when trying to screw the base together which makes it flimsy. Setup was easy and I was able to pickup 30 channels including NBC which is supposedly the difficult channel to tune in for our area. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for those worthless screws. I will have to find some replacement ones.

I needed an antenna that I could place in my first floor window to pick up local stations about 15 miles away and send them to my TV on the first floor (nearby) as well as the TV in the basement. This antenna does the job even though my Amazon Fire stick 4K sometimes says weak signal even though it doesn't appear weak to me. I just wish the base would not stick to my window sill.

An "OK" Amplified Antenna for Cord Cutters

Initially purchased an RCA non-amplified HD antenna for local TV stations. It does pretty well 90% of the time. There are times that I play back a recorded show (Tivo Roamio) and the reception is not good. I decided to try an amplified antenna, thinking it would have to be better, right? Wrong. I get much more distortion and poor reception with the amplified version. This is very individual, as location of antennas really make or break the results. But, in my house, the RCA non-amplified version has better reception and is more consistent -- smaller, too, without a need for an AC wall wart.

This is a very good hd antenna. I am current using this one upstairs at my home here in Ohio. I actually have three of them now. While it didn't pick up as many channels in basement as it does upstairs the picture quality is excellent. I am getting at least 14 local channels through this antenna. Set up is nothing just plug it in scan for channels on your tv and it's ready.

I purchased a Terk antenna before for my living room / dining area television. I was so pleased with the results and channels that I purchased a second for our bedroom. I highly recommend this antenna. Set up is easy and I pick up 32 channels, which far exceeds the 12 I had with a cheaper antenna.

For the price of one month of cable, you can get a bunch of loacal channels with this antenna...as long as you live in a city. We used this antenna to watch the super bowl in a corporate rental house that was too cheap to provide basic cable. It did the trick! It did not work in a remote area so I returned it since I didn’t really need it.

We live in a very large house and our family room TV is in the dead center of the space, surrounded by obstructions. The previous antenna we had couldn't pic up any channels so we gave this one a try - it is amazing! We are able to pick up around 30 OTA channels and they are crystal clear! We'll have to get another one for the upstairs soon!

We bought this antenna for our house in the mountains. The indoor antenna we had would only pick up 6-10 channels and it depended on the weather, and even the it was hit and miss. We currently get about 25 channels. There are times when the weather still affects, but they are fewer then before and typically do not last along time. We are surrounded by mountains so very unsure if this would work, however we are happy with how it performs!
