Customers are pleased with the ease of use and setup of this product, citing its simple installation and portability. However, many customers reported issues with picture quality, citing static interference and signal strength problems, particularly when the product is used over longer distances or near other electronic devices. Some users also experienced interference with their Wi-Fi network. While performance was generally positive for those who experienced no interference, the signal's susceptibility to interference remains a significant drawback.

The one that I purchased from Best Buy was Terk TV Anywhere. I'm using this unit to have a TV on our covered deck and it works great. The transmitter is on the first floor. I also have a Linksys G Router which is on the second floor, and there is no interference and no interference from the wireless phone. I have it directly hooked up to the satellite receiver, and not to the TV. So now our neice can watch a DVD movie on the TV inside the house and we can watch satellite TV outside on the deck. Now looking for a 2nd RX to put on the TV in the kitchen.

I am usually fairly handy when it comes to electronic equipment.
I love gadgets and have them all: DVR, VCR, Multiple screens and DVD recorders.
However I could not get this to receive a clear signal, even though only 25 feet away from the transmitter. Maybe it was faulty. Maybe I did something wrong.
I spent a couple of hours, and various cables, and hook up's.
I gave up and returned the unit.
I had hoped to watch HBO in my kitchen.
I opted to run a wire, at about a tenth of the price, and settle for basic cable.

Just a simple box to send the cable box signal to a remote TV. Composite only but not too bad since the TV is only 15" anyway.

It did not work. LOTS of interference despite the fact that the dvices were on the same floor only 20 ft apart. Granted, I have cordless phones, cell phones, wireless network, wireless devices, and lots of other electronics, but this would absolutely not work. The best part: I talked to a Best Buy employee who told me about a friend of his that soldered a wireless headphone device to his system. I did the same thing with a 900Mhz wireless headphone set. I did not solder anything yet -- I am going to convert the battery power to AC. I did all of this in just over an hour. The Terk device cost $116 with tax. I bought the wireless headphones for less than $30.

Good Video Quality, but blocks Wireless G Signal

After a fair amount of tinkering, I got the video and audio quality to be almost flawless. However, I had my Linksys G Router in the same room, and it blocked my wireless signal. It was the reciever not the transmitter causing the problem, but it was also blocking wireless signals I usually can usually pick up from neighbors. If you don't have wireless internet, this would be a good product for you.

So, this was a christmas gift for a very low-tech house. No wireless networks and the home phones do not share the same frequancy. That being said - the product work perfectly in a basement and through multiple walls. The IR eye was the only bummer. Kept falling off, and would block the signal for the "home" base remote so it made changing channels a challenge.

This was an inexpensive way to be able to watch direct tv in another room without buying another receiver. The picture is even better than it was without the leapfrog. I would recommend this to anyone.
I also read some reviews that stated it interferred with there wireless connection. Mine is sitting right next to my wireless and I haven't had any issues.

This works great from one room to the next or even down a hall. We use it every day, it gives me more time to be in my office and not miss what is going on in the world today.

Despite being hooked up correctly, we never received a picture on the TV. Constant static. Tried numerous tv's and had several different people attempt and no luck. This was a complete waste of time.
