I saw Terminator many years ago when it was first released. I thought it was great then and it remains great today. This movie "still holds up". I recently purchased the remastered Blue-ray Disc. The color is crisp and clear and the sound is great. This action packed movie with terrific acting can be seen over and over again without getting boring. I would definitely recommend it.

Great BluRay to pick up our characters are back and beautifully well made in this Blu-ray Edition was happy to see Arnold's back and the character that made him what he is today pick it up for that day that you have nothing to watch but looking for some great action you'll be glad you did

I always thought the 2nd Terminator movie was the best from how people talk about it. But I honestly think this is just as good. It has more dated acting and effects, but this one feels grittier and more realistic. I definitely like it as much as the original and that is saying a lot.

I watched this blu ray twice today. The audio is real good with some updated changes in certain scenes when guns are being fired. The video quality is also done very well. The blu ray does com with a digital copy. Also as a bonus there are some postcard pictures of production with James Cameron, Arnold, & Linda Hamilton inside.

A MUST SEE!!! If you haven't seen this movie, climb out from under the rock you've been hiding under and watch this. One of the best movie franchises ever made (even if the last two weren't up to par), this is where it all started. Follow this up with Terminator 2.

James Cameron's Terminator is a gritty, fun movie. Who hasn't seen it. I saw it not that long ago and I used gritty as an adjective because the film quality wasn't all that great. I saw this Blu Ray as I was doing some Black Friday shopping and had to buy it. Looking forward to revisiting this great scifi classic.

Even though Judgement Day was a great follow up, I still prefer the original because of its unique story. The special effects are dated, but the action and performances are solid. Linda Hamilton rocks as the mother of human salvation. Michael Biehn is totally underrated. Arnold, however, steals the show. Absolutely scary and badass, he is the Terminator and pretty much tears up every scene. The action never lets up and that police station raid is the best part of the movie. Yes, JD knocked it out of the water, but the original is a classic.

Terminator looks incredible in this newly digitally remastered release. Watching this movie again brought back so many good memories from my childhood. I noticed things that were not as visible on previous versions. I highly recommend purchasing this Blu-ray.

A remastered Blu-ray to a classic movie. If you love the one that started it all, then this is the disc I suggest to you. Forget that friendly Terminator that you see later on, this is the real Terminator, and looks great on this new release. And for a remaster, it's at a good price(at the time of this writing).

From the moment you hit 'play', this blows away at least half of my Blu-ray collection. The sheer number of options and special features, the menu interface, the soundtrack... everything is better, especially coming straight from watching the first Terminator film on Blu-Ray

This newly remastered version of the original masters is what you want in your collection. The other BR versions do not cut it. This is a step above and by far the best treatment of this film. The color/picture and sound are what it should have been when it was first on BR. Get this and you will not be disappointed.

A landmark Sci Fi film that looks stunning on the Blu Ray format. If you have a 4k television, the BR shines even more. It also comes with post cards from the behind the scenes of the film and a plethora of extras. Well worth the cheap price for the quality of the BR and film itself.

I love this original Terminator & this blu ray came with a digital code so I can put it in my collection that I have been building for streaming. Great old movie, the Blu Ray quality is great, but you can't beat this to get the digital code on top of it.

IMO, this is the better terminator flick, my one issue is that the box art is not as it is displayed on the website, the box art showing on the site is much cooler, but an all time classic flick

I don't know what else can be said. The Terminator has become ingrained in popular culture and for good reason. It was a groundbreaking film at the time of its release and it still completely holds up. Excellent film.

This movie is great and where the Terminator franchise all began. Alot of people relate Arnold with being the good guy in these movies, and while that is true from T2 on, he started as a bad guy! With this specific Blu Ray, it has been "Remastered" which while some people hate, i actually prefer. It gets rid of most of the grain that plagued the original copies. Contains great special features and even comes with post cards in the case of behind the scenes filming.

The first and arguably best installment in James Cameron's Terminator series gets a great Blu-ray release, that If you can find it in store currently includes an awesome new slipcover, with some great art. Excellent movie with an excellent release.

The first Terminator movie was an instant classic, one of my favorites. I was happy to see this available in blu-ray. The blu-ray and digital copy combo is an excellent addition to my movie collection. I would highly recommend watching the entire Terminator Series.

The Terminator is a great piece of cinema and its transfer to Blu-Ray has been done very well. Visuals and sound are crisp and clean. The bonus features included on this disc are a great addition to legacy of The Terminator. This version also includes a second cut of the film.

I'm pleased with the newly remastered "The Terminator" (Remastered) [Blu-ray]. I did noticed the superior quality in regards to the picture & audio. Fine detail in closeups are very apparent, yet, the film grain is intact. I definitely recommend this new edition compared to the sub-par original T1 blu-ray release from a few years ago. I'm not one for double dipping but if you don't already have this movie, pick it up. It's decently priced for your collection.
