These are some of the greatest movies of all time. The price was great as it was twice the price elsewhere. I enjoyed these movies in blu ray for the first time. Clarity and sound were fantastic.

Extended editions are the best set of these movies to purchase. It is hard to watch the theatrical versions after seeing these.

Blu-ray plus all of the special features that I could ever dream of for the Lord of the Rings Movie. There are hours of special features for every movie that kept me entertained for hours.

Great movie set. Picture quality and sound are better than the DVDs. Not much new to offer in terms of special features but the upgraded picture and sound make this set worth buying.

A great edition of LOTR. The Blu Ray has excellent definition without looking "fake" and there are tons of special features!

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is amazing as it was released theatrically, but these extended versions of the films are unbelievable.

The Lord of the Rings extended Blu-Ray movie version is must-have for any LOTR fan! This set was on sale. I purchased it for myself as a birthday present. :)

She used to own The Lord of the Rings on dvd.. but somehow she lost it. So I bought her the extended edition on Blu-ray for her for Christmas. She loves it!

This movie set is amazing. The inserts are very cool and have great story line outlines. The movies are beautiful and I loved the added content. It was a great weekend of watching!

If you love LOTR and don't have the extended cuts, you need this. Can't say the quality is that much better than the DVDs, but I'm still glad I got it.

Great collection of the extended version. Note the special discs are dvd and not blu rays like the movies.

I got theses movies on DVD when the came out for 3 Christmases in a row. They we're a must to own on BluRay! I can't wait for my boy to grow up so we can enjoy the films together!

What needs to be said? If you like LotR and don’t have this yet, then get it obviously.
