This is literally the best movie pack that is well worth the money you would spend on it. Both theatrical and extended movies, and tons of bonus features.

Great movie set. Picture quality and sound are better than the DVDs. Not much new to offer in terms of special features but the upgraded picture and sound make this set worth buying.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is amazing as it was released theatrically, but these extended versions of the films are unbelievable.

Extended editions are the best set of these movies to purchase. It is hard to watch the theatrical versions after seeing these.

The Lord of the Rings extended Blu-Ray movie version is must-have for any LOTR fan! This set was on sale. I purchased it for myself as a birthday present. :)

She used to own The Lord of the Rings on dvd.. but somehow she lost it. So I bought her the extended edition on Blu-ray for her for Christmas. She loves it!

If you love LOTR and don't have the extended cuts, you need this. Can't say the quality is that much better than the DVDs, but I'm still glad I got it.

A great edition of LOTR. The Blu Ray has excellent definition without looking "fake" and there are tons of special features!

The extended version is great. The additional scenes not in the theaters adds a lot. If you like this realm of film, then you'll love this.

I got theses movies on DVD when the came out for 3 Christmases in a row. They we're a must to own on BluRay! I can't wait for my boy to grow up so we can enjoy the films together!

I'm not sure what else to say. I've had these movies on dvd for a few years, and they were on sale on blu ray for $45. It's a great purchase if you can find the right price.

lord of the rings on blu ray dosnt get any better my only dissapointment was that all the extra footage is on regular dvd for the price i think it should have all been put on blu ray..

Great collection of the extended version. Note the special discs are dvd and not blu rays like the movies.

This box set is definitely worth getting. Not only does it have all of the extended scenes not in the theatrical version, but all of the bonus discs that is included.

This is a must have for the hardcore fan. They did an excellent job transferring this to the higher BluRay Disc quality. No complaints.
