Customer Ratings & Reviews

Nioh, originally released in 2017, makes a stunning return on the PlayStation 5 with Nioh Remastered, offering enhanced graphics, improved performance, and all previously released DLCs bundled into one complete package. Developed by Team Ninja, this action RPG set in a mythical feudal Japan blends challenging gameplay with deep lore and historical elements. **Graphics and Performance:** On the PS5, Nioh Remastered shines with its upgraded visuals and buttery-smooth performance. Running at a dynamic 4K resolution and targeting 60 frames per second, the game showcases intricate environments, detailed character designs, and fluid animations. The enhanced lighting effects and particle physics further immerse players in the atmospheric world of ancient Japan, whether battling monstrous yokai or exploring serene temples. **Gameplay and Mechanics:** Nioh is renowned for its punishing yet rewarding combat system, which blends fast-paced action akin to the Souls series with deep RPG elements. Players master a variety of weapons and combat stances, each offering distinct advantages and playstyles. The Ki Pulse mechanic adds layers of strategy, requiring precise timing to recover stamina and chain devastating combos. With challenging enemies and intricate level design, Nioh Remastered demands skill, patience, and adaptability from players. **Story and Characters:** Set against the backdrop of Sengoku-era Japan, Nioh weaves a tale of samurai, supernatural forces, and political intrigue. The protagonist, William Adams, navigates a world torn apart by war and the encroachment of demonic yokai. While the narrative takes liberties with history, it incorporates Japanese folklore and historical figures, creating a compelling backdrop for the game's intense battles and moral dilemmas. **Multiplayer and Online Features:** Nioh Remastered includes cooperative multiplayer modes where players can summon allies to aid in challenging missions or engage in PvP combat in the Abyss. The online integration adds a layer of community interaction and replayability, though connectivity issues can occasionally hinder the experience. **Conclusion:** Nioh Remastered on the PS5 is a must-play for fans of challenging action RPGs and samurai lore. With its enhanced graphics, refined gameplay mechanics, and immersive storytelling, the game stands as a testament to Team Ninja's dedication to both technical excellence and engaging gameplay. Whether you're a returning veteran or new to the world of Nioh, the Remastered edition offers a definitive experience that celebrates the beauty and brutality of feudal Japan. **Rating: 4.5/5** - Nioh Remastered delivers a visually stunning and deeply engaging samurai action RPG experience on the PlayStation 5, showcasing Team Ninja's mastery of the genre.

Amazing collection, if you enjoyed any of the Nioh games or the souls games, you will enjoy this series. One word of caution, it isn’t the easiest game and some may be overwhelmed by the difficulty, but if you give it a chance, I doubt you will be disappointed. It looks great and plays extremely well on the PS5.

This game was surprisingly fun, and the price was out of blue, I was just strolling by the store and bought it.

I got this game for $20 on sale it’s a really good value. One thing I wanted to mention is that it includes a disc for each game which is really good because you won’t have to redeem any codes for dlc or any of that bs.

I love this game. It was worth every penny. I would recommend this game. It is amazing

Nioh and Nioh 2 are phenomenal games. Challenging but rewarding gameplay that doesn’t feel like a chore. If you are struggling with a section, give it a break and come back later. That advice helped me a ton. Jewel case was damaged in shipping, hence the star reduction. Game discs included all dlc, no downloads required, and they were in great shape despite case damage. The game came in a thin bubble package, no other padding or protection. Highly recommend, just consider the possibility of damage during shipping.

A very decent collection at the discounted price range.

Always wanted to play these games very excited to get both titles in one disc.

The Nioh Collection offers gamers 2 critically acclaimed soulslike games remastered on modern hardware. If you want to get into the Nioh franchise, get this bundle, as it also comes with all DLC expansions!

Great action game for the PS5. Add to your collection.

One of those games I thought I'd be good at but nope. Good game. Just not for everyone.

Has a souls like feel to it. Combat is smooth and love the dark tones.

Awesome game! Bestbuy never failed with their service. Ordered it via online and the item came aecured and the disc is not removed from the case. Kudos Bestbuy!

Love teh biu variety, I do a Odachi brucer build with the big great sword and heavy armours.

Nioh 1 was a highly overlooked game considering how good it is, Nioh 2 did a great job with the Oni mechanic and character customization

The Nioh Collection for PlayStation 5 is an absolute powerhouse of a remaster. It includes both Nioh Remastered – The Complete Edition and Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition, with all DLC included, running at a silky smooth 60 to 120 FPS (depending on your settings) and up to 4K resolution. This is Team Ninja at their sharpest—and now sharper than ever, thanks to the PS5's hardware. The combat is tight, fast-paced, and brutally satisfying, with a high skill ceiling that rewards precision and patience. If you like the intensity of Dark Souls but crave something more aggressive and technical, Nioh is your game. The addition of multiple weapon types, guardian spirits, and deep RPG systems gives combat tons of depth and replayability. The remastered visuals are stunning—lighting, textures, and load times have all seen major improvements. And speaking of loading times: they’re nearly instant on PS5, making deaths (and you’ll have a lot of them) far less frustrating. Pros: ✔️ Both games and all DLC in one package ✔️ Incredible combat system ✔️ Deep customization and RPG elements ✔️ Lightning-fast load times on PS5 ✔️ Stunning remastered visuals Cons: ❌ Difficulty can be punishing for newcomers ❌ Storytelling is a bit uneven, especially in the first game ❌ Inventory management can get overwhelming Final Verdict: The Nioh Collection is a must-have for fans of samurai lore, soulslike games, or anyone looking for a challenging, beautifully enhanced experience on PS5. It's a love letter to hardcore action RPGs—and it plays like a dream.

OMG! These were such necessary remasters. Two great & GOAT'd games in the Souls-like genre from the previous gen now with enhanced graphics, 4K resolution, up to 120fps & includes all their DLC in an all-in-one package? Cannot beat that... an ABSOLUTE MUST BUY!

A great game that's similar to the soulslike genre, but doesn't follow the same exact formula. In this game, unlike others like elden ring, its not all about trying to parry or dodge attacks, but guarding too. You can't understimate common enemys, lower your guard and suddenly your dead. Its not all against you though, you have access to many different items to help you (and on many occasions you can even just run by them). Understanding the mechanisms is a bit confusing at the start, but you'll slowly understand it after the countless deaths you experience. It's hard and even if I find myself frustrated, I can't stop playing the game.

Great combo!! I picked this up with a discount so I only paid $10 and some change!!!! The amount of hours you can sink in to these games is crazy!!! You can easily sink hundreds of hours of completing everything in both games!! Be warned these games can be very challenging to the point some may have trouble especially younger gamers, but if you like great games that offer a heck of a challenge and good gameplay then I’d highly recommend picking them up in this package as you get all of the game content for both games including all DLC and it’s all been completely remastered!!!

Both of these games are fantastic. Not sure how well it’s aged visually but the gameplay is well done. Frame rate is stable and upgrades to the PS5 removes performance issues. The ability to create your own personal avatar is an unexpected joy. Have 2B as heroine keeps me motivated in any game
