My son just started playing this game but so far he says it is better than sims 3

If you were a fan of the previous sim installments, you will more than likely be let down. The emotions that were added to this game get quite annoying after a while. Unlike Sims 3, you cannot choose the exact amount of days for each life span. Your sims are more self sufficient seeing as the only help you can hire is pizza or a maid and have you repair your own stuff. The game seems to have been rushed as it's still very glitchy *sims just stop washing dishes without you cancelling the action, they'll be in one part of the house and then magically appear where you told them to without walking, etc* Overall, if you've only played the first sims game, not sims 2 or 3, this may be great for you, however with everything missing and lack of a lot of clothing/shoe customizations, this might be a game to skip unless on sale for $30 again like on Black Friday

The game is very fun and goes at a good pace. It is interesting and it makes you want to keep playing!

Love it. I don't realize simcity has come so far. This is a fear gift for kids ages 10-15

EA did a great job improving the animation and look of the game as well as how the sims behave, much more life like. But how could they revert back to the load screen from sims 2. Essentially it's an improved sims 2...it should be sims 2.5. There are great aspects of this game but that detail overshadows everything for me. You can't "improve" the sims and take away some of the most fun and entertaining aspects of it. I'm sure expansion packs will make the game great but the load screen will always be the elephant...or should I say llama...in the room. It's really great and really disappointing at the same time.

Can't tilt the camera view, raising baby a lot easier, getting promotion for your sim is and knowing what they need in skills is also easier. One of my favorite things is the build mood now, I have no skills when it comes to building or creating rooms. There is a feature where they have a per-made room for you, just buy and place and you and even expand the room love it.
