Overall this is a great camera and has been in constant use for 1.5years through south Texas heat. Never overheats. 1080p image is sufficient for most instances where proof is required. We paired this with a Thinkware Q800 Pro (pictured) and it has been great. The rear camera is mounted to the rear glass and is hardly noticeable in the rear view mirror, which is nice. It's about 60% of the size of the main unit up front. Looking to pickup another set for one of our other vehicles. Took off a star because the app used by Thinkware is a little cludgy and requires connecting via wifi. Pretty common these days though.

I chose this camera after reading many reviews on dash cameras. I installed it and used the cigarette lighter plug for power the first few days until the weekend when I had the time to hard wire it. Installation was super simple and including the installation of the rear camera. The instructions could be a little more detailed showing how to navigate the camera operation and playback. I like the blinking light that is visible through the windshield while in parking mode. I'm am going to put a switch on the always hot power wire so that I can turn it off while parked at home and recording is not necessary. Overall, I am very happy with this camera.

The back-up camera works great. At night when you are backing up it lights up everything behind you. Makes backing up safe. I am so glad that we got this camera. My wife loves it too!!!

Pros: - Low light sensor works great at night. - Camera image quality is superb - Continuous or incident recording function as advertised - Blends in nicely behind the rearview mirror, forget it's there. Cons: - Could really use a "capture now" button somewhere, as it is, you have to remember when the event happened and look for a file with that timestamp. - Software isn't very friendly. - Thinkware Cloud sign-up is broken, emails arrive entirely in Korean, and URLs to confirm email address doesn't work (expired token).

It’s super easy to set this up. Comes with a really long wire to wire from the main camera unit to this rear camera. I ended up actually hiding it inside my car by taking the weather stripping off and just putting the wire inside there and reattaching the weather stripping. Did this all the way to the back and still had plenty of wire to hide. You don’t have to do all this if you don’t mind seeing wires of course but i do and feel like if someone sees wires in your car then it might make someone want to look more into your car. You also can’t see the rear camera from the outside (at least in my car)

This is the perfect companion for the Thinkware 800 Pro. It is nice to record what's happening behind you. Nice split screen when reviewing events. Clearly focused picture, good quality, not grainy.

Been in my car for 2 years quality is great and the parking mode works great.

Bought this rear view camera as a set with the dash cam. For safety purposes, it is good to have a record of road travels from the rear view of the vehicle too. People in Central Florida are such bad drivers that they stop behind you at a light where it seems like their vehicle is actually in your trunk. If an issue happens with another driver, having documentation clears up any misunderstanding.

I have these Dash Cams in all my vehicles. They are the best dash cams I have yet used, they are high quality and have amazing features, you can use app to see and watch and access the cameras settings as long as you are connected to the cameras wifi. You can also install another in your front windshield that is also accessed by the app. Your car is 80% protected around where the cameras can see.

First of all besides the camera which I feel adds confidence, because I know it will capture bad acts on peoples parts is the great guy who installed it. Mike at the Glendora Best Buy. I get great service from Mike, so like I said the confidence is knowing Mike installed the camera correctly and the camera will work to benefit me for whatever reason. I have had Mike do many things for me. The moral of the story is, when you find someone like Mike that does great jobs for you. STICK WITH HIM.

Thinkware it’s the best dash camera by far. A little expensive but the video and pictures quality it’s amazing. So, if sometimes you need a proof to insurance, believe me; the price of this camera it’s highly recommended over anyother. You can check live and when you start your vehicle, it’s give you a whole report about any circumstances.

Works and looks great. East to install. Plug and play.

This camera works well to watch behind the car and when in park mode it and the front camera cover most of the car perimeter.

My wife and I love the Thinkware Camera's! We feel like they operate easily and effeciently, they're simple to set up and simple to use. We love we have the added protection should something happen, we'll have it recorded!

This is a great addition for the Thinkware Q800 Pro. I have this mounted on the rear hatch of my Ford Flex. Excellent video quality. Glad I bought this setup. Very happy with the results. Paired with a Samsung Pro High Endurance 128GB card.
