PROS + Swappable motor/battery is quite powerful and works very well for pet hair with both floor washing and dry vacuuming + Both devices are very light weight, good looking, and easy to maneuver + iLoop Sense does a good job of dynamically adjusting cleaning power to the surface + Pet features like anti-tangle brush head and pet clean-up solution work well with pet hair and dirty surfaces + Floor washer has a self cleaning feature that works when docked and does a very good job of cleaning the mop roller + Very easy and intuitive to swap and use both devices, change attachments, clean, maintain, and more CONS - “Dual” base for the devices feels more like an afterthought, with the floor washer base being great, but the stick vacuum base being smaller with only a simple connector to the main base, and doesn’t offer dedicated charging capability - Stick vacuum has a pretty small capacity, better for smaller spaces and/or more frequent/lighter cleaning THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT I have previously owned one Tineco stick vacuum, and have largely loved it. The smart adjustment of power to the level of dirt/debris on the floor, lightweight build, flexibility, and price to performance ratio have all been amazing, and this is a trend that continues in almost all regards with the Series 7 Switch Pet devices. First and foremost, one thing that confused me a bit before getting the device was what the level of “switching” meant for this package. Looking at the description, it almost sounded like this was one “device” that could be transformed into either a floor washer or dry vacuum depending on your needs, with different attachments to help these. That is not the case, and in reality is much simpler. What this really is is two devices in one box, a floor washer and a dry stick vacuum, and what “switches” is the shared motor which drives both devices. What this means is that you have one cylindrical and powerful motor with its own battery that can be used with both devices. Because of this, both devices share the same suction/cleaning power, which in this case is a great thing as the motor is substantially powerful. On the flip side, what you miss with this is that you cannot use both devices at the same time, since you only have one motor in the box. So, the first thing to consider when thinking of if this device for you, is if you plan to have multiple people washing the floor and vacuuming at the same time. If so, you may want to look at getting a floor washer and vacuum separately, so each can have their own dock/charging set-up, and be used simultaneously. Speaking of the dock, in this case you get one larger dock for the floor washer, which doubles as a charging station. The vacuum dock is much smaller, and connects to the larger floor washer dock with a basic plastic clip slot, which isn’t the most secure but does the job. However, there is no way to charge the motor using the vacuum, it needs to be placed in the floor washer and on the dock to charge. Since switching the motor involves simply pulling a latch and removing the motor, this really isn’t a big deal, but is something that again makes this feel distinctly like two devices rather than one shared product. In terms of the devices by themselves, they are both great. The floor washer does a great job getting up dirt and hair with only a couple of passes, and emptying and refilling the fluid container is super simple. When done, you have a self-cleaning function that can be used once the floor washer is on the dock, with the water shield in place. It takes about 5-6 min, and cleans the floor mop/filter in place. I love this feature, and it works surprisingly well. You do get a spare mop roller as well, in case you need it mid-clean, or you want to do a deeper clean of one of the rollers while still using the other. In terms of the stick vacuum, it is very lightweight and very powerful with the switchable motor. It actually pulls my dog’s hair out of the carpet much better than my other dedicated Tineco vacuum, and the anti-tangle roller does a good job of keeping hair out of the roller joints. You get a few attachments you can use for hand vacuuming or for tighter corners/spaces, and this can sit right next to the vacuum on the dock, which is a nice touch. My only real complaint with the vacuum is that the capacity for dirt and hair before needing to be emptied is a bit small for my liking. I wish the container was just a bit larger, especially if using this in larger/house spaces. Overall, I really like the Pet 7 Series switchable devices. The primary question here is, is it worth it to get this vs. buying two devices separately? The answer depends a bit on your situation and preferences. I think this device package works best when you have a smaller space and/or don’t need to be using both devices at the same time. If you are limited on storage space, or just want to minimize charging cords/batteries, this is also nice for compactly having two devices connected together. However, for larger homes/families, you may want to consider buying the floor washer and vacuum separately, as the price isn’t that different vs this bundle, and you can get just as much, if not more, power with stand alone devices. For what this is though, I think this is a great offering, and if you want the ability to switch devices with just one motor, then you can’t get much better than this.

I recieved this unit the other day and have had time to put it through some good cleaning. This is my third mop/vacuum from tineco and second handheld unit from this company. I absolutely love both the other mop units and I have another place I wanted to have one. This bundle is unique because there is a rechargeable battery/motor that swaps between the units. The battery only charges on the mop, which is ok, but I use the vacuum twice as often as the mop, it would have been nice to have it charge on there and I grab and go with that. Differences between this mop unit and my past ones are obviously the removable motor/battery, but also the base unit that charges it does not have a storage spot for the cleaning brush, the extra roller, and extra hepa filter. I will include a photo of the small difference in the base. Not a big deal, just going to have to store the extra accessories in my vacuum accessory shelf away from the unit. This mop also is missing the ultra mode that my past unit had that provided more suction than the max mode, but gains a custom mode (diy mode) that you can change in the app suction and wetness. Auto is supposed to detect and increase or lower water usage based on what it's sensing. It is my usual running mode. This also has a plate that clicks onto the base that has a little seal on it around the roller side. This is a more recent addition that when the unit self cleans, it blows hot air back on the roller when done and they cleaning cycle (which is like 3 wet and cleaning roller, 5 for drying the roller) it pretty much (90 to 95%) dries the roller and keep it from potentiallily smelling. My older units air dry, and havnt had an issue, but in theory it could. Differences in the handheld vacuum are just a few. First again, the motor unit is removable and charged on the mop. There is a little canister that locks back in place as a space holder, I will include a photo. I understand it for an asteics purpose, but really, not needed. It also has the nice feature of push on and it runs and then you can select max suction or normal. I like that better than my old unit I had to hold the trigger and then slide a trigger lock to keep it running. The brush heads are the “no tangle” type on both my units, this and my old unit, and I must say, on standard use, it seems to work. My wife has longer hair and I have pets, I don't fight the tangles nearly as much on this. Only in really heavy hair collections that I find occasionally will I see a few lines stuck on the unit. Performance wise, both of these have very ample suction. They do get really close to the edge on both and with the mop if you are able to turn and approach from the front it is nearly to the baseboards (1cm or sometimes I think less). The vacuum does well on all surfaces, my vinyl plank floor and carpets. The attachments are all very good and useful. I have done the stairs and cleaned many car crevasses with this. The mop does really well also at cleaning up standard dust tracking and dirt. It has the separate clean and dirty water tanks and both easy to remove and fill. Make sure before you go and dump the dirty tank to take out the hepa filter on top to keep it from getting accidentally wet. They do show you can rinse and dry it, and I have had that done to one of my older ones, but I think if you don't get it completely rinsed, the dust hardens like mud blocking performance. You can get replacements for all filters if needed, but this comes with a spare and I've had my oldest one 2 years now and with just routine air compressor blowing, I think it's doing pretty darn good still. For heavier tracking going to max mode and many passes over it, most things clean up. The battery life is on par with what they report, about 40 minutes mop, 60 with vacuum. Enough to get my first floor and finished basement area done usually if I move at a good pace and it’s not heavily soiled from foot traffic. Value for the dollar. This is an expensive unit. The msrp is a lot higher than buying separate units. Performance wise they all do very well from the lower end 3-1 to the s6 and 7 models. The vacuum performs exactly the same pure one x that I have. I don't see a huge gain in utility by sharing the one motor unit, and in fact, I sort of find that as a fault because I can't have both units going at once aka one person doing carpets, one person mopping and saving time. This is and the cost are my caveats with this and I feel for this and I am going to deduct a star for this (shared motor and cost). Again, I do reccomend this product, and I do feel they are continuing to try and improve on the models (warm air drying, stay on vacuum button, customize mode on app) but the utility of swapping the motor a d one between both is lost on me. Seems like technically the company wins because they have fewer expensive items to put in the box. This is something to think about, looks good on paper as a convenience bundle, but the gain has a tradeoff. However, still great units.

one package: hard floors to carpets, very clean

We have a smallish house, and only an occupancy of 3 (one of which is a dog), so we never thought a dedicated power floor washer would be a necessity. We had remodeled a couple of years ago, and replaced the downstairs carpeting with hardwood flooring, so carpet shampooing needs have been greatly curtailed. The opportunity to trial a one product cleans all was compelling however. The designation of Switch refers to the fact that the battery/power unit for the included two machines can be easily switched from one to the other. The units assembled easily from the packing box, parts clicking into place without needing much guidance. The floor washer is the workhouse of the two: for hard surfaces it vacuums, then washes, and then sucks up the wash water for disposal. The other unit is a dedicated vacuum only, and you switch the battery and motor from one to the other, quite easily. Charging only occurs when the floor washer unit is in its stand. The vacuum has a separate space on the stand, but does not charge if the battery is mounted on the vacuum in the stand. My personal experiences with our cordless vacuums has been quite positive. We have disposed of our upright and canister vacuums since acquiring cordless units (not Tineco) about 10 years ago. The first cordless vacuum is still in the house, and still used regularly, but has been demoted to the basement, with newer and more versatile models in the main house. We had a brief sojourn with a robot vacuum/mop unit, but were rather underwhelmed by the results. The water reservoir was quite tiny, and the unit was rather underpowered in suction of the damp mopping in comparison to the Tineco. That unit was passed on to one of our children, and they use it mostly for the vacuum option. With an expanse of hardwood floors, spots that would be sort of disguised by the carpeting are much more visible, especially in the kitchen area where food prep and cleanup exerts a toll, aided by gravity. And just vacuuming helps, but nothing can surpass a real mopping with water. The greatest satisfaction occurs when you see the rather filthy water that the Tineco is sucking up as you proceed across the floor. Rather than sharing the dirty water across the surface, since as soon as you first rinse the mop head, each time the water you’re putting down is dirtier than the time before. The Tineco sprays water mixed with Tineco cleaning solution (available from Tineco or BestBuy by the quart). Then with power roller brush scrubs the surface, and the vacuum sucks the spent, dirty water off the roller as you go. The dirty water is visibly stored in a separate reservoir, so you can see when it needs emptying, but also is gratifying to view how dirty the water is that came from your floor. The other game changer with the Tinenco is that you do not have to first vacuum prior to mopping; the unit does that first step for you. Cutting out that extra time chore from the equation translates into less hesitation about actually mopping the floor. The end result is a much cleaner floor in high traffic areas more often. The downsides are few. The Tineco floorwasher is heavier than the vacuum, mostly due to the weight of the wash water and dirty water reservoirs. Yet it is rather easy to maneuver around, and gets surprisingly close to walls, corners, and other barriers. It rolls with a power assist to the wheels, so you do not have to forcibly scrub the floor, which would become fatiguing. We were concerned about the guidance that Tineco stated in their instructions to use it on “sealed” hardwood. Our flooring was “pre-sealed” at the factory, with the installers laying it down without a final urethane sealing process. The Floorwasher does not seem to really have the water sitting on the floor for any measurable length of time where the water with seep into the junctions between adjacent planks of the wood. The battery status is prominently displayed on the top of the power unit, so you can keep track of when you need to recharge. We found that the battery lasted easily for the entire wash process, although if you have a large area you might need to recharge along the way, or consider a second battery/motor unit for backup. The online Tineco accessories page did not have a replacement battery/motor listed, so the price for such is unclear to me. Eventually all lithium batteries need replacement, and it could be pricey if you had to purchase a new motor in the combined unit. The second unit, a cordless vacuum, uses the same battery/power canister. It swaps out easily between the two, taking only a few seconds to do so. The vacuum came with a plastic cylinder as a place holder where the battery/motor is mounted. The instructions that came with the unit, however, were a bit obtuse in how and where the motor was mounted to the vacuum, and it was not pictured in the owner brochure. It had me stymied for a while on how to power the vacuum, until I looked at the picture on the shipping box, which was more illustrious than the owner manual, and solved the mystery. The vacuum unit is MUCH quieter than our other cordless vacuums which would trigger a “high noise alert” on my smart watch, suggesting that I should be using ear protection for the decibels I was getting. The vacuum comes with a HEPA filter so the dust is not recirculated, and a replacement is included in the carton for the future. The Tineco vacuum has two power settings, and the “high” setting is about as quiet as the lowest setting of the other brand we already own. However, the cost of the relative silence is less forceful suction. The Tineco is fine for touch ups, but left some debris behind, especially on surfaces like the entry way floor mat where more detritus gets worked into the surface. The vacuum of the Floorwasher unit seemed to pick up better than the dedicated vacuum unit, although this was not a quantitative measurement, just an impression of what I was noticing. The Floorwasher will verbally announce various requests and hints along the way (and you can choose among languages!). Although most of the pronouncements were obvious, it can give you a clue as to what is happening. For instance, when your battery will need charging: the “10% remaining” on the top of the battery module was obvious, but the confirmation of “needs charging” was confirmatory. Quite useful was the self cleaning mode after a floor wash session that will get to all the inner workings, so you don’t have to. The roller bar will clean itself and do a flash self dry session. Manually rinsing out the dirty water tank is easily done. My “acid test” of the unit was the basement floor, which has an epoxy paint sealant, which we applied ourselves when we moved into to this house about 15 years ago. Periodic floor cleaning, aided by having the a utility sink in the basement, was still quite a chore that was avoided. The Floorwasher proved to make the project almost enjoyable, from the quality of the results. The clean water tank holds 0.85 liters, so under a quart. The dirty tank is a bit smaller at 0.72 liters. An expanse such as a basement would take multiple fillings/emptying cycles. But the emptying the dirty tank and filling the clean tank I worked into the rearranging the stuff that occupies the basement, so I was cleaning only a section at a time. The results were quite fulfilling, and will make the repeat cleaning in the future much less of a dreaded chore. The clean water tank uses a small amount of a cleaning solution, a starter quantity that comes supplied with the unit. Of course, Tineco recommends that you use their cleaning solution which can be purchased from BestBuy or online from Tineco, among other suppliers. There is a Tineco mobile phone app, but I could not get the app to “find” my device or WiFi. I wasn’t motivated to pursue it further, for there really were not functions that I needed distance control to run for me. In summary, I give the Floorwasher a 5 star, and the vacuum a 4 star (average of 3 on suction and 5 for light and maneuverable). It is definitely a worthy addition to our core appliances

Putting the floor washer and stick vac together was easy and self-intuitive. Everything snapped into place and had a space on the charging/cleaning base. Starting with the floor cleaner, you get one extra roller for the floor washer along with a bottle of cleaning solution and a cleaning tool. Filling up the water basin was simple and only having to use a cap full of the cleaning solution means the bottle will go a long way. I’ve never used the Tineco cleaning solution before, but the smell reminds me very much of Hibiclens. When filled up and ready for use the floor cleaner does have some heft to it, but I like having that weight since I know that will help it make good contact with the floor. There is an app available in the Google store for the system and it was easy to pair. You can view your cleaning history, update device firmware, and make some adjustments to some of the settings. I was hoping for an option to disable the self-assist motor for the wheels to help with an issue I will talk about a little later in my review, but that option isn’t available. Turning it on you have three options in the menu for cleaning. You have auto, which will automatically adjust the solution and suction based on how dirty the floor is. You have max, which will give you maximum suction and solution, and you have suction only. The lcd screen on top of the motor is easy to read and gives you feedback to let you know what mode you are in, how dirty the floor is, and how much battery you have left. The wheels are motorized to offer some assistance to move the cleaner across the floor and it was a nice addition, but I found that once the floor got wet the wheels would sometimes continue to turn in the direction you were just moving as you try to push or pull the cleaner across the floor in the opposite direction. I looked in the app to see if there was an option to disable the self-assist motor, but there wasn’t one. The roller goes from edge to edge for a nice wide cleaning swath that allows you to get close to baseboards and furniture. We have cats and had no issue with vomit, litter, or food from around the food bowls. Whether it was fresh, or dried on, the floor cleaner was able to get it up. It just required a few more passes for the dried-on stuff. When going over areas, we found that making sure the area was clean before moving on helped to greatly reduce streaking. It seems like every time we moved on too quickly from one area to another, we would end up with streaks all over the floor, but slowing down and making sure the floor was clean before moving on helped a lot in this regard. Most of the main floor of our house, about 1500 square feet, is wood, tile, or laminate floors and we found the clean water tank and battery were sufficient to get everything done in one pass without having to re-charge or add more cleaning solution. When done cleaning just put the floor cleaner back on the charging/cleaning dock. It will run through a quick self-check and tell you if a cleaning is recommended or if you just need to empty the dirty water container. Running through the cleaning process will take about 7 minutes with the flash drying process. It does a good job of cleaning the roller and gets it almost completely dry. Once the cleaning process is done you can clean out the dirty water bin. The bin easily comes apart to allow easy access to the inside. When done cleaning and running through the self-clean process we are left without about 15% battery left. Moving on to the stick vac, you get the stick vac and two attachments. The motor is easy to transfer between the floor cleaner and the vacuum and when using the stick vac you have two power options, eco or auto mode and max mode. If you just finished using the floor cleaner to clean your hardwoods before moving onto the carpet, you will likely need to wait for the motor to charge back up first and it’s not a fast charge so it will take some time. I didn’t have any issues vacuuming rugs and carpet and I found it to be light weight so it’s easy to push around. The included tools make cleaning blinds and furniture easier, and it does a decent job picking up cat hair and we didn’t run into any issues with hair getting tangled on the roller. The dirt canister is easy to empty, but if you have a full canister with a lot of pet hair you will need to pull out the filter to get everything to drop out into the trash. You can get everything to drop out without too much effort since the filter twists out, but I would much prefer some type of lever system to empty out the bin so my hands didn’t have to get dirty. The floor head has led lights on the front of it, but they are not very bright and don’t seem very useful. The charging stand has an extra base attachment to hold the stick vac and the two extra cleaning heads, but if you leave the motor on the stick vac it won’t charge from this attachment. You will need to transfer the motor back over to the floor cleaner. Overall, we’re very happy with the S7 Switch. I think there is a little room for improvement and it is pricy, but it sure makes cleaning of our floors a lot easier.

My previous experience with another Tineco vacuum/floor cleaner was very positive. Tineco uses a lot of lightweight plastic in their vacuums and floor cleaners. That makes it very easy to operate the appliances. And so far, they hold up well. The Switch 7 is an impressive cleaning system. It’s like Christmas in a box, you just keep finding more. I like that they include an extra roller and filter. The charging base and vacuum stand could be better designed. The charging base is sturdy and the vacuum stand is too lightweight. I wish they had combined them into one unit. Included in the box: • FlashDry Self-Clean Charging Base & Vacuum Stand • 2 Pet Rollers • 2 Filters (HEPA) • 500ml Pet Odor Reducing Cleaning Solution • Cleaning Tool • Charging adapter • Switch Motor • Anti-Tangle LED Brush Head • Mini Power Brush • 2-in-1 Dusting Brush Assembly was easy with the provided instructions. The manual is pretty sparse on usage directions so you may have to search online for some answers. The app is also helpful and the instruction manual has a QR code for additional help. We have carpeting, wood floors and several rugs in our house. Some carpeting and rugs are more plush and require deeper cleaning. Pet hair can really be a problem on these as they need a deeper clean. Even human hair becomes embedded deep in the carpet. The Tineco did a great job of removing the hair from the carpet and rugs. Our dog hair is bad enough but we were temporarily cat sitting too. We started in Eco Mode and that worked pretty well. On the deeper carpets we really needed the Max mode to dig out all of the embedded hair. Excellent job. You just push the black button to empty the dust bin. Cleaning wood floors and the bathroom tile was also a breeze. Vacuum up and then run the cleaner. I used a different solution on the tile as it gets too slippery otherwise. The cleaner works great and is gentle enough for the wood floors and tough enough for the carpet. We loved the Anti-Tangle brush head with LED. That light makes it great for corners. And the self-cleaning charging base was a treat. I did have a slight issue with the height of the units when going under cabinets as they were a little too tall. I have mixed feelings about the Switch-Motor. It does last a long time on a charge. You should have plenty charge to vacuum and wash your carpet and floors. But moving it back and forth so much has a potential to break a connector or drop the vacuum or cleaner while moving the motor. I really would have preferred an extra motor at this price. The motor also charges on the cleaner. I understand that is probably necessary due to the self-cleaning feature, but we use the vacuum more often than the cleaner. We vacuum daily. I do highly recommend this. But I would like a better base system and a second motor.

Right off the top, this dynamic duo for cleaning (and I DO mean CLEANING!) your floors is FANTASTIC! My wife and are both seniors and once we got this out of the box, assembled (very easy!) and charged up my wife took it for a spin cleaning the tile floor in first floor of our home. She used only tepid/cool tap water (hot water is NOT to be used in the Tineco!) and the return (after cleaning use) tank was black with dirt that had been washed away using, again, only water. The floor washer is light and easy to handle. It actually pulls itself slowly forward and is very easy to control including pulling it back to facilitate redirecting the machine. It usually takes about 4 hours to do the downstairs area which includes the entryway, dining room and kitchen areas. The initial cleaning took only 45 minutes and again, the return tank required several refills as it was filled with the results of the Tineco's excellent work. The "mop" is so easy to use and as I said, we are both older and have arthritis in our wrists and my wife told me how easy the Tineco was on her arms. She was easily able to control it with either hand and even allowed me to use it and I must say she was right! As it goes along the floor doing its job, a pleasant aspect of that job when compared to old fashioned mopping is the the floor is almost completely dry within minutes of passing over each section! No marking off the downstairs as "Off Limits" due to a wet floor. When you are done, you are D O N E!! This makes the prospect of using the Tineco more often to keep your floor(s) clean even more of a pleasure. Once we were done, the stone tile floor in our home had a "sheen of clean", if you will! Then it was decided to see if the floor in the kitchen was holding onto some hidden dirt. After recharging the Tineco the kitchen floor was once again give the once over and even more filth was removed and the return tank was black with the results of the Tineco's cleaning efforts! There was a LOT of pet hair from our fuzzball of a Pomeranian and the cleaning system removed it from the floors and transferred it along with the rest of the dirt and grime to the waste tank. Proof that this machine really does its job better than anything we have ever tried! The cleaner solution that comes with it doesn't say if it is safe for stone tile so my wife immediately ordered the appropriate Tineco cleaning solution and the next day we cleaned up again. This final cleaning was the BEST yet and the floor really shines now. It looks great and we know it is really clean! Both the Tineco mop and vacuum have a light on the front of the device that aids in seeing where you're at and the display on the top of the battery pack (in auto mode) keeps you informed of the levels of dirt you are encountering as you clean. It also "verbally" alerts you when you are done to be certain to clean the unit, especially the return tank so as not to leave it filled with dirty water overnight or longer. This is a great feature that we appreciated as sometimes when you get done cleaning you just want to walk away but if you do not take good care of your equipment, ultimately it won't be able to take care of you. Cleaning it is fast, easy and over before you know it. Fantastic! The battery is easily moved from the mop to the vacuum cleaner and the cleaning head on that also has a bright forward facing light that is another standout feature of the Tineco. Both vacuum and mop heads on both units are light to the touch and very easy to maneuver and this is made even easier due to both units being cordless. The battery has lasted between 45 minutes to an hour which is excellent and one imagines that time limit may improve as the floors are kept cleaner by more frequent use and we do not feel as though we need to make more than one pass. The physical effort required to clean your home is drastically reduced for us and that is a blessing as before we would be exhausted from all the hand mopping and drying, let alone vacuuming. We have a robot vacuum that is the primary floor cleaner but the Tineco Stick Vacuum that comes as part of this 1 - 2 cleaning punch is perfect for quick jobs as well as our stairway! Again, it is light, easy to use and the forward facing light on the cleaning head makes doing a great job even easier! And having a cordless stick vacuum to clean your staircase is fantastic! All in all, this is without a doubt a life changer for us. The mop unit is not only easy to use, it is much faster overall than hand mopping and the vacuum unit is equally easy to use and makes cleaning the staircase so much easier for us! Highly recommended? YES!!!!

Impressive at cleaning; not a lightweight handheld

This is basically two separate products bundled together, with the caveat that they share a motor/battery that you move between the two. One unit is designed to mop hard floors with a wet-vac technique. The other is a dry vacuum that works well on carpet or hard flooring, along with upholstery and hard-to-reach messes you might want to suck up. My only complaint is that compared to other handheld vacuums, this one is bulky and quite heavy. The equipment is also a bit complicated, so there was a learning curve to setting it up and operating it. +1 excellent at cleaning. +1 powerful suction. +1 impressive power for a battery tool. +1 well-constructed, pieces snap together and apart easily and securely. -1 complicated—read the instructions. -1 takes up a lot of space in storage. -1 heavier than most stick vacs and handheld vacs. CLEANING Tineco has created a system that cleans very well. I have seen some impressive vacuums and wet-dry products in the past, and this will hold its own compared to any of them. The vacuum unit has great suction, especially for a battery-powered device. But even more functional than that is the way the brushes work. Both the large floor brush and the smaller furniture brush are built in a way that is very effective at picking up dirt, lint, and hair. Plus I’ve yet to see any hair get stuck around the rollers. The hard floor washer is also very effective. It is able to pick up any kind of spill, mud, or grime on my wood floors. There’s a motor assist in the wheels that makes it practically move itself around the floors. It has some kind of sensor that automatically adds more liquid if there’s a lot of dirt, and turns up the suction as needed. It barely leaves any water on the floor, so it usually dries in less than a minute. I have sometimes had dirty water drip out of the unit after I turn it off and I’m carrying it to the charging station, but not a lot. My favorite feature is the self-cleaning and drying function built into the charging dock. When in the dock, the floor washer’s mop roller is surrounded by a plastic tray that keeps any liquid or dirt on the roller from making a mess. And I can simply press a button and it will clean and dry the roller automatically, using the vacuum motor as well as heating and ventilation in the dock itself. Unlike other similar tools, this system is not able to wash carpet or upholstery with the wet vac. The wet system only works on hard floors. BATTERY AND CHARGING The battery and motor are built into the same housing which they call the SwitchPro Motor. It easily clicks in and out of either the vacuum or the floor mop. When it’s installed in the floor mop and the floor mop is on the dock, the battery will charge. It takes roughly 5 hours to fully charge the battery. A full charge will provide between 30 and 60 ish minutes of use, depending on what mode you use. MULTI-CONE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL TOOL This is a complicated system with lots of parts. One part is the Multi-cone Assembly Removal Tool. I had to read the user manual a few times to figure out what this even is. It looks very much like the SwitchPro Motor, except it doesn’t have a battery or motor. Initially, it looks like it simply takes up space and looks nice when installed on whichever device the SwitchPro Motor is not installed on. For example, out of the box and in the first Product Images online, the Multi-cone Assembly Removal Tool is with the vacuum tool. So you have to actually take off this empty plastic cylinder in order to install the SwitchPro Motor and actually use the thing. But, don’t be fooled. The Multi-cone Assembly Removal Tool is not just for show. It’s also designed with a wrench-like part that is used to remove a filter inside the vacuum’s dustbin so you can clean it. So you’ll want to keep the Multi-cone Assembly Removal Tool around. EASE OF USE This system is bulky. Expect to dedicate several square feet of floor space to store both cleaners and all the pieces on the charging dock. Of course any vacuum is going to take up space, but remember that this is essentially two separate devices. They both store neatly and thoughtfully on the stand, but it still takes up a lot of space. This is not a lightweight stick vacuum. The floor mop weighs almost 12 lbs (not including water or cleaning solution). The vacuum is 6 lb 12 oz. Even in its smallest handheld configuration (with crevice tool) the vacuum is well over 4 lbs. I’ve got reasonably strong arms, but I feel like this is a two-handed kind of tool, not something you can just casually pick up and flick around to grab stray hairs or cobwebs in corners. The battery can only be charged when it is installed in the floor mop. That means that any time I want to use the vacuum, I have to move the battery/motor unit from the floor mop to the vacuum. When I’m done, I have to move it back to the floor mop to recharge it. On the one hand, this is a pain because I usually tend to reach for the vacuum first and would only use the floor mop occasionally. On the other hand, since the floor mop is so easy to use and effective, I might end up spending more time cleaning with the mop instead of just the vacuum. In fact, for everyday dirt and mud tracked onto the hard floors, the mop keeps things clean with no need to vacuum at all. APP This system comes with an app, and I’m not sure why. The user manual says, “All the functions can be performed using the Tineco app.” But, of course, the one function that I’m most interested in, cleaning my floors, requires that I actually walk over to the device itself. It’s a very nice app, but I think I’d be just as happy using the floor washer and vacuum without it. Besides, adding network connectivity to the vacuum also adds an additional potential attack surface for hackers.

Tineco Floor Washer Switch Pet Cordless 7 Series UNBOXING First, the Tineco FW Switch comes in a fairly large box, and is a bit weighty. Tineco was thoughtful enough to incorporate a carrying handle into the shipping box so that it can be carried. Now, when I say “weighty,” specs say it weighs around 22 pounds, but including the box and all the contents, I would guess it must weigh close to thirty pounds… light enough to carry around easily. After getting it inside, I began to unpack the box. As I opened the top my first thought was, “Oh man, what have I gotten myself into?!” There is a lot to this system! There are two different layers of items contained within the box. Tineco is serious about making sure everything needed is included. This also includes a full-sized bottle of cleaning solution. Most of the competition either include a small sample size, or none at all. This was a very welcome sight. Before removing everything from the trays, I decided to read over the instruction manual. As I did so, it became quite obvious that Tineco went above and beyond in the R&D aspect of this product. There is a LOT of information to take in. Thankfully the instructions are laid out in a very concise and logical way. Everything is covered step by step. After going through the manual, I was convinced that it was not as complicated as I first thought. In fact, when it was all said and done, product assembly was quite easy, simple and intuitive. Where there were any questions, the diagrams in the manual are quite good, and made for easy reference. After getting everything assembled, it was necessary to charge the unit. It was starting to get late, so I decided to let it charge overnight and test it out the next day. In other words, I can’t say how long it took to fully charge. The next day I wanted to try out the vacuum first. But before I do that, let me back up a bit to the storage of the Tineco. The Tineco Floor Washer is a unit that can stand up by itself. That’s the way Tineco designed it. I can understand that, because after all, if it couldn’t, the threat of spillage would be greatly increased. However, the vacuum cannot stand by itself. I’m not sure why so many manufacturers design their stick vacs like this, but they do. Anytime I had to stop vacuuming, I had to lean the vacuum against something to keep it from falling over. But because so many companies do this, I am guessing there must be some sort of engineering aspect involved…I just don’t know. But in storage, the vacuum has a slot that slides into a pocket on the storage fixture to keep it standing up. With that said, let me get back to the vacuuming. There are two modes with which you can use the Tineco, Eco mode, and Max Power mode. I started out with the Eco mode and was quite happy with how well it maneuvered across the carpet AND the bare floor. On the bare floor, I was super impressed by how well it removed dust and pet hair, not to mention other debris. As I vacuumed along the walls, speakers, etc, it managed to pick up almost everything along the edges. But now, this is when I maneuvered the vacuum with the side of the unit facing the edges. Front on, it didn’t pick up as well as it did from the side. This was not really an issue, other than when I was trying to vacuum some tight spots where I couldn’t get the vacuum along side the edges, like with the TV stand, etc. But because I almost always use the long wand attachment to go along the baseboards, I figured I was not out any extra labor at all, seeing as I was going to do that anyway. On the carpet, the Tineco did exceptionally well using only on Eco mode. So well in fact that I was a bit embarrassed by how much dirt and pet hair it was pulling up. After the first empty, I was at roughly 85% in battery life. I then put it in Max mode. In all honesty, I was not expecting so much suction! It became quite difficult to push the vacuum across the carpet. Because it is relatively light in weight, I circumvented this issue by simply lifting the vacuum up and forward and then vacuuming on the reverse pull. In Max mode, battery life began to decrease quickly. Starting off with around 85%, in a matter of a few minutes I was already down to less than 70%. I decided this wasn’t even an issue considering just how much suction the vacuum produced, especially so seeing that it is a cordless machine. I switched it back to Eco mode and finished vacuuming the floors and the carpet. By the time I finished it was time to recharge the unit. Because it is a Switch model, the battery can be switched from vacuum to floor washer quite easily. However, for recharging, the battery must be on the floor washer and placed in the included charging cradle. The stand for the vacuum attaches easily to the unit so that both can be stored together. The next day I decided to test out the floor washer. Surprisingly there is absolutely nothing complicated about the FW! Simply push a “button” to remove the water container from the unit, take it to the sink and fill it up. Tineco came up with an ingenious design here. Since the water tank is attached vertically, they designed the tank so that it is filled with the tank in the prone position. There is a little snap-in-place plug to close the tank when its full. Here is where I have to say Tineco deserves its props! As I mentioned earlier, Tineco includes of full-sized bottle of cleaning solution. The instructions state only one capful is needed when AND IF the floor is extra dirty. In other words, you can actually clean the floors without using the cleaning solution. But hey, with pets, it’s probably a good idea to use the solution. But even so, there is enough solution to last for dozens of cleanings! I wasn’t going to go easy this time. I decided to vacuum the Family Room where the humans and pets spend most of their time. All I did was move everything out of the way, didn’t vacuum, and went for it. The FW is actually self-propelled, so using it is almost effortless. As I went over the floor, the FW took up most of the stains on the first pass. There were a few places where some drops of some unknown liquid put up a fight, but after a few quick swipes, up they came. What I was most surprised by was just how quickly the floors dried. In a matter of seconds (20-30) the floor had already dried! This was such a welcome discovery because now there would no longer be the waiting 20-30 minutes for the floor to be dry enough to start walking on it again. I was sure that I was going to have to refill the tank several times in order to finish the floor. Boy was I wrong. By the time I finished I had just a tad under half a tank left. I didn’t have to refill even once! I said earlier that after vacuuming, I was a bit embarrassed by how much debris there was. That embarrassment was nothing compared to when I went to clean the floor washer used water tank! I was truly speechless. I thought I lived in a fairly clean house, lol. As I disassembled the tank for cleaning, I was super impressed by how much hair and other debris was in the solid waste compartment. Now, Tineco says that it isn’t necessary to use the solid waste catcher if you don’t want to. For me, it was nice being able to swipe it out straight into the trash bin. I don’t want to mislead you here, it did not capture ALL of the hair and other solid waste, but most of it. Rather than pour the waste water down the sink, I decided a nice trip down the toilet would be in order. I didn’t want to have to someday dig all that out of the sink pipes. Cleaning the FW and the vacuum was very simple and quite easy. For the FW, Tineco includes a very practical and effective brush that makes cleaning a breeze for those hard to reach places. A good general cleaning is all that is needed, and was accomplished in very little time. I don’t want to leave out the additional cleaning tools. The upholstery brush alone is worth the price of the entire unit! It is the very first upholstery tool I have ever used that is actually EASY to use. It isn’t awkward or bulky, has a revolving brush and amazing suction. I had zero issues while cleaning the sofa and other furniture. The trigger on the batter unit that turns whatever part you are currently using is another ingenious aspect of the Tineco. It is easy to access and easy to use. This is what helps to make the upholstery tool so easy to use! CONCLUSION I am extremely happy and satisfied with the Tineco 7-Series Floor Washer Switch Pet Cordless Mop & Vacuum Cleaner. It is easy to assemble, and easy to use. There is a lot of information to process the more you use the machine, and for the most part I am glad for that. The more information given, the longer the machine will work to its full potential if we heed it. The storage/recharging station is something that requires some placement thought. Like probably most of us, I am not really into having vacuums and stuff out in the open for all to see. I chose an unused bedroom. As I said, I don’t much understand why the vacuum is designed to be dependent upon leaning against something if you need to empty the container while using. I appreciate the way it is designed to stand unaided in the recharging station. I love the idea of being able to switch the battery from one to the other so easily. The design and build of the vacuum and floor washer are impeccable, and will last for many years. I wish it could be just a bit better at the suction at the front of the unit, but the side suction somewhat makes up for that. I am jazzed at the super quick drying time. I’ve figured out because it is so easy, I just might use the FW for vacuuming as well, seeing as most vacuums create a bit of airflow which causes dust and hair to become airborne, and with the floor being wet, it will anchor that debris long enough for the FW to pick it up on subsequent passes. The upholstery tool is wonderful! Being a self-propelled machine is a HUGE PLUS! And the very generous supply of

I live in a medium sized house that is 99.9 percent hard floor with one small sized area carpet in the living room. I also own a German shepherd dog that sheds a ton of hair daily. The Tineco 7 Series Floor Washer Switch Pet Cordless Mop and Vacuum Cleaner is a two-piece system consisting of a mop cleaner and a traditional vacuum cleaner only for hard floors. They come with a docking mechanism that charges the battery. It has transformed the way I clean my hard floors especially with the mop cleaner. Both cleaners are well built with ergonomic handles that feel comfortable in your hand and a modern look. They run on a battery pack that is the brain of the system, and can be switched between the two. Attached to the battery, a great looking digital display that is well lit and provides useful settings information. it also has a voice prompt for alerts and settings status. it comes with an app with a solid user interface and it connects to your wifi. The mop function is outstanding, effortlessly removing my pet hair and all other dirt, leaving my floors sparkling clean and streak-free with every trials. Despite a bit of heft, the cordless design provides excellent maneuverability, making it easy to navigate around obstacles and tight corners. A cleaning and deodorizing solution is provided in the package to be mixed with the water in the water tank. The manufacturer only recommends this solution to be used. Many different settings are offered but I find the auto settings to perform really well. The vacuum cleaner, on the other hand, is much lighter than its mop companion and is even more maneuverable. It comes with two additional tools that can be fitted when detached from the long tube. This one only has two settings: Eco or Max. The dust bin is on the small size and fills up quickly. I was impressed with the good suction and its ability to remove some fine cleaning powder that sticks to the hard floor. My only gripe with this cleaner is that it is strictly for hard floors. I have a small area rug that I cannot clean with either machines. However, both the mop and vacuum operate significantly quieter than all the vacuum cleaners I've owned, which is a major advantage for me and the rest of my household. The battery life is a moderate disappointment with the mop cleaner. On a full charge, after cleaning the whole house , which is not very big, the charge would drop under 50%. I believe this can be inconvenient for larger homes or more extensive cleaning sessions. I've encountered issues with the wifi connection after a few days. It's been difficult to reconnect and without the connection, the app is useless. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Tineco Floor Washer Switch Pet has become an important tool in my house cleaning arsenal. The exceptional mopping capabilities and quiet operation outweigh its limitations. For anyone looking for a versatile cleaning tool that excels on hard floors, I would recommend giving the Tineco a try.

As a pet owner (cat dad), I’m always on the lookout for ways to keep my home cleaner without having to break my back. When I first came across the Tineco Floor Washer Switch Pet Cordless Mop Vacuum Cleaner (7 Series), it immediately caught my eye with its sleek design and promise of tackling both vacuuming and mopping in one go. I was very intrigued and wanted to test it. After using it for about a week and half, here’s my honest take on this cleaner. First Impressions & Setup: Right out of the box, I was impressed by the sleek, modern design. I like how it looks minimalistic and the black color finish gives it a premium feel. I must admit. Assembling it was a tad tricky. The instructions weren’t as clear as I hoped, and it took me longer than expected to put it all together. I was very determined to make it work, but it was definitely frustrating. Once I got past that hurdle, though, everything clicked into place, and the unit felt sturdy and well-built. The cleaner feels solid in your hands, not too bulky or heavy. The handle is ergonomic and comfortable to grip, making it easy to maneuver around tight spaces. Overall, once assembled, it has a good balance between feeling durable and light enough to carry around the house. I like how I was able to use this on floors and tile. It worked equally well and transitioned nicely. I wish the water tank was a little larger, but I realize this isn’t intended for fully mopping your floors. It’s more of a “let’s do the surface area your pet might have just went number 1 or 2 on.” As mentioned on the instructions, not meant for carpets. So it might be a deal breaker for those that own carpets and need to spot clean it. Plenty of good products out there for that. Pros: Cordless Convenience – I love the cordless feature! Excellent for Pet Hair Dual-Action Cleaning – Being able to mop and vacuum simultaneously. Battery Life Self-Cleaning Feature Lightweight & Easy to maneuver Multi-Surface Performance Quiet Operation Cons: Challenging Assembly Small Water Tank Not for Carpets Damp Floors Post-Cleaning Overall: The Tineco Floor Washer Switch Pet Cordless Mop Vacuum Cleaner is a solid investment, especially for pet owners. Its sleek design, dual functionality, and overall ease of use make it a standout in the world of floor cleaners. While the initial assembly could be easier, and the water tank size could be a bit larger, these are minor setbacks compared to the convenience it offers. If you’re looking for a cleaner that tackles both vacuuming and mopping in one go, this might just be the perfect fit for you. It’s a bit of an investment, but the time and effort it saves are well worth it!

I have used a Tineco floor washer in the past and i was very pleased with the quality/performance of their product, specially now knowing that it passed the time test as well i can truly say that this set Tineco Pet Switch Cordless Mop & Vacuum cleaner is my GO To solution for keeping my floors clean and little ones happy! The product is nothing but AMAZING! Very well taught thru as a design and the way it performs, it is powerful yet looks good. I have 2 dogs in my household and sometimes they will get messy from outside sneaking in the house before i can clean them so now having the Mop and Vacuum and being able to switch so seamlessly between the too it comes in very handy! It really makes washing floors such a pleasure now and the results are fantastic. Never had to worry about their hair getting tangled in the brush and relying on the same powerful proven motor i can tackle pretty much any mess in the house, either something i spilled in the kitchen (that happens a lot) or taking care of paw prints or keeping the pet hair away from carpets and couches. The self cleaning solution it works well having the brush clean and dry, ready to go in about 5 minutes. This really makes cleaning the floors in my house a breeze, i do recommend it to anyone specially if they have kids or pets!

As a pet owner, a dog and a cat, I’m always looking for something that will help me keep my house as hair free as possible. In searching, I learned about Tineco’s Floor Washer Switch Pet cordless mop and vacuum cleaner 7 Series. This package looked extremely interesting and I decided to try it out. Tineco’s 7 series comes in a pretty big box as it is a pretty big system. You’re getting a machine mop and a separate vacuum, both of which are cordless. In the box is also a charging base that mostly holds the mop device, and also serves as a drying mat / mop cleaner. There is also an attachment to hold the vacuum device, as well as the vacuum attachments that come with the system. To go with the devices, there is one motor/battery that is used for both the mop and the vacuum. The last thing in the box is a bottle of Tineco’s floor cleaning solution for use with the mop. Set up is pretty quick, plan on about 30 mins to unpack everything and put together the base unit. Tineco recommends charging the battery for several hours and to full charge prior to first use so that’s what I did. To charge, you have to have the motor attached to the mop device on the plugged in base, the vacuum device will not charge the battery. Once charged up, I was ready to try it out. I started with the cordless vacuum. I detached the motor from the mop, attached it to the vacuum, carried the vacuum downstairs, and pressed the trigger to turn it on. The first thing I noticed was the lightweight of the cordless vacuum and how smooth it rolled on my laminate flooring. The second thing I noticed was the LED light on the vacuum head showing me exactly how dirty my floor was. The vacuum defaults to eco power mode, which did an ok job for a cordless vacuum, but an underwhelming job for a system labeled for pets! While the LED is wonderful and shows every little speck of dust/dander, I feel like I have to go over the same spot over and over to suck up everything. Sadly, it doesn’t get much better when increasing the suction power to max, even though the sound is much louder and the battery depletes insanely fast. There are two other drawbacks to this vacuum compared to other vacuums I’ve had. One is the versatility of the attachments. The main vacuum head does not have the ability to adjust its height. The other is the dustbin, which does not always easily let the dirt you’ve sucked up out. I’ve had to stick my hand in there far too many times to pull out clumps of pet hair. After vacuuming, next up was to try to wash the floors. Finding a pet system that is also compatible or usable on laminate flooring was nice. To prepare, I filled up the water reservoir to the max line and pouring in a cap of the included solution. Next, I switched the motor over to the mop and carried the heavier device downstairs to wash the floors. Turning on the mop starts it in auto mode, which auto senses how dirty the area of the floor is and changes the flow of solution, the speed of the brush, and how much suction is needed. It’s quite nice. Another thing that nice is that the mob has a auto motor to assist movement so pushing this mop around is very easy and smooth, you really don’t have to use any force to clean your floor. Clean up is pretty good as well. You can easily pour out the dirty water and then remove the top section to remove any solids/hair that the mop sucked up along the way. When you return the mob to the base for storage and to charge the battery back up, the mop will self detect whether you need to put mob on self clean mode, which will clean the brush and the internal components. Then the base helps to dry the mop brush. It’s a nifty feature. Overall, Tineco made a decent system but is quite pricey. The vacuum leaves a little to be desired with underwhelming clean up power for a system intended for pet owners, while the versatility and the features on the mop device make up for it a little bit. The switch motor serves its purpose, to easily switch between and power each of the devices, even if it feels a little gimmicky. It would be nice if the battery could charge while attached to either device. It would also be nice if the vacuum had an auto clean mode like the mob does of if the main vacuum attachment was more a little more versatile or adjustable. As is, the system overall is just decent.

The Tineco Switch Pet 7 Floor Washer and Vacuum Cleaner set is a powerful set of cleaning tools. The Tineco Switch Pet 7's electronics dynamically change the suction when using the floor washer or dry vacuum. You can use eco and max modes. The unit's voice says the unit is "Charging" when you put the floor washer on its dock. A battery power indicator is on top of the battery/motor cylinder. Unboxing: The Tineco (pronounced tin' cō) Switch Pet 7 setup comes neatly packaged using purpose-built, fitted, recyclable inserts in a box with no wasted space. The box is large and heavy with a carrying handle and contains lots of parts. The floor washer and dry vacuum are beautifully engineered, and you can assemble them intuitively and quickly. Parts are designed so that you can assemble them only one way. Tineco supplies a bottle of cleaning solution, an extra HEPA filter, an extra brush roller, and a "bottle brush" cleaning tool. I am handy and can put most things together just by looking at the parts. I assembled both units and had two items that required research. First, what to do with the clear tray? This tray that sits on the wet mop dock to catch drips. Second, how to charge the stick vacuum, since there is no power to the stick vacuum's side dock that attaches to the floor washer dock. Tineco supplies only one motor and battery that you switch between the floor washer and stick vacuum—thus the name "Switch" for this wet/dry tool set. Pros: Both the floor washer and dry stick vacuum are cordless. Controls are conveniently located at and near the top of the handle. Both are relatively quiet during normal operations. The stick vacuum converts to a handheld unit and has a powered mini brush roller and a crevice tool with a retractable brush. Voice commands alert you when the unit is charging, and guide you through the self-cleaning process. You can change the language of the voice commands. The floor washer is self-propelled and takes a few minutes to get used to. Rather than using a back and forth motion as you would with a dry vacuum, guide the unit in straight lines, or a rectangular cleaning pattern to get the most out of its self-propelled feature. The Tineco floor washer moves along quickly and is efficient, using little water. You can run it in automatic mode or press a button for maximum power. It picked up plenty of dog hair, human hair, and grit from floors that were washed a few days earlier. The self-cleaning cycle is handy. Make sure to empty the dirty water tank and leave adequate solution in the cleaning solution tank for this self cleaning process. You might be surprised just how much hair, grit and grime come off the brush roller. The Tineco vacuum cleaner automatically adjusts suction to the surface being vacuumed. The vacuum head is light and is easy to move, though it does not track straight on short pile rugs or hard floors, because most of the unit's weight is near the top. The vacuum's powered brush head worked well for cleaning pet hair off my furniture and for cleaning carpets in my vehicles. I needed the crevice tool with the retractable brush to get into in tight places in my vehicles and into crevices between furniture cushions. The vacuum picked up plenty of dust, dirt, and pet hair and the dustbin was easy to empty. Cons: The floor washer and the stick vacuum share a motor and battery. The clear cylinder that comes with the stick vacuum is just for show, when the motor and battery are attached to the floor washer. You must charge the battery with the floor washer in its dock. The floor washer worked in straight lines most of the time on my natural stone floors, but slid on the smoother, porcelain tiles. Its traction could be better. The battery may not hold a charge long enough to vacuum a large house and wash the floors, too. Such a pricey tool set should come with two motors, to allow whole-house cleaning with plenty of power. The benefit would be power to spare. The floor washer is heavy; this might be a concern when lifting the machine on and off its charging dock. Only Tineco cleaning solution is recommended, and it is costly. The cleaning cycle takes several minutes and can get loud. Some people might be intimidated by the technology associated with this product.

The Tineco Switch Pet Cordless 7 series floor washer is a near perfect device for my needs. I only have a few gripes about it, but over all it does everything that I am looking for. If you spring for this combo, its about $100 more than the floor washer alone, but you get the benefits of a stick vacuum as well, the unique motor/battery swap system makes this possible and I have never seen this before and I find it very cool and unique. The biggest downside of this is not having a spare battery to play around with as I do with my other Tineco S12 vacuum. A bit of a bummer, but the battery that is built into this S7 Switch system has been long lasting so far and I have been able to clean my entire 1200 sq foot down stairs area with battery left over. Included in this kit is a stand system to hold everything, 2 total rollers for cleaning, two filters, crevice cleaning tool with brush, charging cable, an LED anti tangle brush for the vacuum, mini vacuum power brush, small cleaning tool, and some cleaning solution. You only need a capful to each clean water tank fill, and it seems to work well, and of course the motor/battery unit. Using the floor washer takes some getting used to, at least it did for me. I was expecting to have some ‘trigger’ button for the solution to be put down, but in auto mode it does it all by itself. You can manually move it into Max mode or Suction mode by using the mode button. I found that the auto mode was best for nearly all situations, and it worked really well for the everyday messes my kids and dogs make on my hard floors. Don’t expect it to remove some stubborn sticky messes, but not much out there will, except some hard scrubbing. After you are done, you simply empty out the Dirty Water Tank (DWT) and you will notice that any solid objects it picks up are separated by a section of the tank top portion. Then fill up the Clean Water Tank (CWT) and set it on the charger base, cleaning takes about 3 minutes, and it does a really good job. The roller is nearly dry after this, I would say about 90%. I also remove the roller cover and give that a good wipe down since there is some dirt build up on there. This also allows the roller to get fully dry as well if you leave the cover off for a bit. Clean up is a breeze and it is recommended after each use to avoid odor build up. Using the stick vacuum portion is just ok in my opinion. I feel that the motor head, while is great at keeping hair from getting tangled, just simply moves too much left and right and it too wobbly in that way. I can’t really use it for stairs, but the smaller mini power brush works good on the stairs. I also noticed that the stick vacuum doesn’t seem to have a dirt sensor the same way the floor washer does. Usually Tineco’s will display a blue/red circle on the top of the screen (motor battery) and you can see with a visual how dirty the floor you are cleaning is, so this works great with the floor washer, but when you put it on the stick vacuum, you don’t get the same display, it only shows Auto, Max, and the current battery. You can manually toggle between auto and max with the button on the end. Also, the Tineco powered attachments for the S7 do not work on my S12, they are the same shape, but now there are three pins instead of two. The non powered attachments fit just fine though. Overall, this will save a lot of time since you can clean your hard floors with just one pass of this and not have to vacuum or sweep before and the self-cleaning at the end is a real game changer, I feel it encourages me to use it more since it’s a lot easier to clean than previous devices that I have had.

I had no idea what to expect when I ordered this setup but I am so happy I did. It arrived in a huge heavy box and after unpacking I laid all the pieces on my dining room table to be sure complete. Read through the manual and figured out how to get it assembled. Tineco gives you an extra filter and roller for the mop feature as well as a long handled brush to get down inside the dirty water tank and clear away hair, debris. Also included was a bottle of their cleaning solution which is the only brand they recommend using. The stick vacuum part has a mini power head and crevice too that sits on an attachment which fits on the side of the mop charging station. I then proceeded to charge it overnight. When I was ready to start I placed one capful of their cleaner in the fresh water and filled it to the MAX line. Then as the machine was at 100% battery life I started in. The default setting is AUTO which I kept it on most of the time except for a couple stubborn areas where I hit the MAX. I must admit I thought my floors were pretty clean but I couldn't believe how much extra dirt this was sucking up! I did have to refill the clean water once when she announced it was empty and then emptied the dirty water. There was a lot of cat fur and some of my long hair in the dirty water tank. Honestly I found cleaning that gunk out sort of gross but once it was done everything was fine again. I do want to mention that is why I clean using my own vacuum previous to mopping which removes most all the debris and just makes it easier to pour out the dirty water and rinse. After my floors were done I placed it on the charging base and she announced the mop roller needed cleaning. What an awesome feature! After about 7 minutes or so I felt the roller and it was dry! Be ready to hear some noise while it's in that mode but worth it to have a fresh roller for the next mop job. After my cleaning I still had 28% battery life left but that was only using the mop and not their vacuum. Now here is the part I'm not too crazy about. When you want to use the Tineco stick vacuum you must remove the battery from the mop and place it on the stick version. I wasn't super pleased with how the stick picked up things but it sure wasn't the worst one I've ever used. I accidentally kept hitting the switch under the handle and shutting the vacuum off. If Tineco would provide 2 battery packs ~ one for each ~ it would certainly be much better. If you use their stick vacuum before doing the mopping by the time you're ready to mop you need to recharge the battery and wait. But as mentioned, I use my other cordless vacuum so have no issues. I am rating this beauty 5 stars because the mop vacuum is outstanding! I finally feel like my hard flooring is really clean and I'm very impressed! Its self-propelled movement helps so much too, especially since I have a bad shoulder. It glides along perfectly ~ forward and backwards. The digital readouts and vocal suggestions helps you to know what needs to be done. Highly recommend this Tineco! I really love mine and can't figure how I managed without it now!!

The 7 series Tineco Switch Pet Cordless smart vacuum, and washer is really a game changer when it comes to cleaning the home, or any space with hardwood floors. The multi attachments that it comes equipped with, smart features and WiFi, as well as cleaning ability really makes this a necessity that will stand out above others. Unboxing can be a bit intimidating, and time consuming, but keep in mind there are two separate machines included, along with 2 attachments and a base. The physical setup is very easy and getting the handles attached to the washer and vacuum is simple enough. There are physical instructions, and a QR code to be able to download instructions. Downloading the app gives you the opportunity to be able to take advantage of all of the smart features available. Connecting the WiFi was seamless and done within minutes. After letting it charge for the recommended 4 hours, I was able to first vacuum which is very lightweight, and does a great job getting my dog hair vacuumed in one sweep, but it does not stay upright without leaning on something which is unfortunate. You instantly notice the battery life isn’t the best, and drains quickly. You have to switch the one battery between each device, so, if you have a bigger job you may not be able to vacuum and mop afterwards. There is a lavender solution included to use with the floor washer, that doesn’t smell the best but works well on my hardwood floors. The floor washer also has multiple settings to use, and the auto mode will actually move on its own and detect where you have cleaned, and what’s left to clean as well. The self cleaning mode is a great feature, but it takes 5-10 minutes and you have to have at least 30% battery life, which is hard to do considering how quickly the battery life drains. The 7 series Tineco Switch Pet Cordless smart vacuum, and washer Is powerful, quiet, jam packed with features, has a great base and multiple attachments that allows you to clean multiple surfaces, but doesn’t have the best battery life.

The Tineco "Switch" power floor washer and vacuum combo is a really nice set of tools. It comes with a stick vacuum cleaner and hardwood/vinyl floor mop system in one package. The 'Switch" part of the title is a bit deceiving. I initially thought it was one tool that swapped between vacuuming and mopping. That's not the case here. The 'switch' is the motor. You get two separate tools in the box- a standalone mops system and a stick vacuum. But they share a single motor/battery unit that you swap between the two as necessary. Charge one unit and then decide if you want to vacuum or mop. I guess it's a way to keep costs down instead of providing separate batteries and motors for each tool. Sounds like a novel idea, but it doesn't work well in reality. The system comes with a higher end (similar to the S5 floor cleaning system) Tineco vacuum/mop. It's a pretty nice tool. The unit vacuums up dry debris ahead of laying down floor cleaning solution (or water), scrubbing the floor, then sucking up the liquid. There's no need to vacuum ahead before mopping. It does it all at once. The system has sensors that detects debris and dirty and will adjust the power/suction as necessary for the task. You can even turn off the mopping portion and use it just as a vacuum on hard surface. We used it on our hardwood floors at home and were amazed by what it picked up. It comes with a sample Tineco floor cleaning solution, enough for a moderate area, but make sure you read the label about what types of floors the solution is good for. We didn't fully trust the solution on our hardwood, so we used just water. The mop still cleaned remarkably well. The liquid capture bin is fairly small, so expect to empty it a lot. The unit had plenty of power. You cycle through the various modes using a button on the handle. It has a Auto mop mode that controls the liquid dispensed and runs the powered wheels (a really nice touch). It also has a Max mode and a suction only mode. Did I mention it also talks to you? It calls out the modes, when more liquid is needed and when the tank needs emptying. It even asks to be put on the dock when finished. My wife thought he vocal callouts were neat at first, but they got old after a while. As for as a power mopping system goes, we had no complaints. On the vacuuming side, it's a very standard stick vacuum with a main power head and a few attachments such as a upholstery brush and crevice tool. The power head has a headlight, so you can see debris. The motor has a Eco and Max mode for varying suction levels. It did a good job cleaning up our hardwood floors and our carpeted areas. It doesn't match the power of some other high end stick vacuum systems, but it does a good job. Overall, you will get a very good cleaning system with this purchase. As for the downsides, there are a few. It comes with a charging base for the mop tool. Place the unit on the base and it will charge the motor in between runs. The stand itself is pretty solid, but the way the charging system engages, puts the mop slightly above the point of fully sitting in the base which makes the whole unit wobbly. It's a bad design. It should sit down fully. The vacuum has a base attachment that is just silly. It clips on to the mop base and then the vacuum clips on to it. It's EXTREMELY wobbly in this position. The whole assembly is overly large when both the mop and vacuum are attached. There's no hiding this in a closet easily, it's big and ungainly. The 'switch' motor/battery unit, the secret sauce of this system, works fine. The unit provides enough power for both the vacuum and mop. We got about 40 minutes out of it which is fair. The biggest problem is there is only one motor/battery. You can't mop and vacuum at the same time. While my wife mopped, I usually try to vacuum ahead in another room. Can't here. And the real killer is the motor/battery will only charge while installed in the mop. You cannot charge it in the vacuum. We mop maybe every 2 weeks, but we vacuum a little every two days. We kept having to get the motor out of the mop, put it into the vacuum, vacuum the house, put the motor back in the mop, and repeat every time we wanted to vacuum. It was annoying. The vacuum will be used more, the charging should be tied to it. There is a Tineco app that you can use with this system. I can't comment on it because I could never get it to connect properly to my iPhone. II tried for an hour. 'm not sure what I was missing with the app, but I didn't seem to need it to get the most out of the tools. Lastly, there is the issue of value. This is not a cheap system. It does a tremendous job of cleaning and I guess there are some who value the bundled package. But you can buy a really nice stand alone Tineco vacuum/Mop AND a nice Tineco stand alone stick vacuum for less than this bundle. They wouldn't need the wobbly combo stand as each would have their own with a much smaller footprint. Easier to hide away somewhere. More importantly, separate units wouldn't share a battery/motor. You could charge and use either whenever you needed it without having swap the motor unit between the two. I recommend this for the tremendous job it does cleaning. It has it's faults though and buyers should go into the purchase with their eyes open.

This set came in a huge box. Unboxing and setting it up was not difficult at all as there were visual instructions printed on the box, and putting the pieces together was intuitive. I will say that the entire set takes some space, so be ready to find a nice nook for storage. The design language is modern and sleek. The floor washer is on the heavier side and the vacuum is quite light. The motor adds some considerable weight, and may take some getting used to, especially when handling. The charging base is also heavy, but this helps with balancing, since both devices hook onto it. The battery is charged via the base when attached to the floor washer. There is a handy and vibrant LCD that provides information such as battery level, status, and so on. I also downloaded the companion app and set up the Wi-Fi. The app is pretty basic, but it is nice to have. The instructions have a QR code that goes to a video, which I recommend watching. Once I got it all ready, charged, added water and the cleaning solution, my wife and I were rather impressed with how easy it was to handle the heavy floor washer. Although it did feel strange at first, as if the washer would go on its own, the wheels push and pull in sync with our handling. The head swivels well and can cover most corners. I wish there was an option to change it for a slimmer one for those hard-to-reach nooks. Nevertheless, the washer was efficient and effective in cleaning a wooden and a tile floor from regular soil and fine dog hair. The real test was cleaning around the dog’s feeding area and the entrance, where gunk and dry food accumulate. We were pleasantly surprised that using the proper mode cleaned these areas completely. The washer also did a great job in cleaning spills. The LED light helps in ensuring the floor is truly clean. Also, the included washing solution works well and has a pleasant scent that does not last long. The vacuum also performs well. I cleaned the rugs, and the suction was strong enough to pick all debris and up most of the dog hair. Again, we have a small dog whose hair is super finite and needle-like and insert themselves everywhere. While the vacuum did pick them up, it took several passes. To be fair, this is the same with the other two vacuums I own. I appreciate the accessories and hand mode that allows for cleaning the furniture, blinds, curtains, ceiling corners, etc. The LED is bright and helps in cleaning under furniture. Cleaning and maintaining both devices are straightforward. The washer reservoirs can simply be dumped in the toilet, using an exclusive drainer that I use to drain debris, which I dump into the garbage. There is a scrubber included and rinsing is easy. There are replacements for the filter and roller, which is welcome. The self-cleaning process when the washer is placed on the base is incredibly convenient and effective, taking the tiring washing and draining of a conventional mop. The vacuum is also easy to clean and emptying the waste is intuitive -just do it close to the can as the dust can go everywhere. So far, the experience has been mostly positive. However, there are a couple of nitpicks. The so-called quick-switch means that the motor/battery has to be shared between both devices. While the process is easy, there were times when I needed to use the vacuum when mopping and had to change the battery back and forth. Although better than advertised, the battery life is on the short side and depends heavily on the mode and type of cleaning. The battery lasted less than an hour when washing the floor and 60-90 minutes when running the vacuum. That means I cannot do a full house cleaning session at once and had to take breaks for charging. The battery adds considerable weight when handling the vacuum in handheld mode. Those are all quibbles that may not affect everyone, and I found ways to work around them. If anything, the biggest thing to get past is the premium price. The way I look at it, you are getting two devices with several options and modes for any type of cleaning. I certainly appreciate the convenience of not carrying around a mop and bucket. In the end, I can see this floor washer-vacuum combo become a great addition to our cleaning habits, making house cleaning something to look forward to.

You get two very functional and high quality vaccums for the price of one. My favorite is the vaccum mop it does a phenomenal job at cleaning surfaces, and even when it looks clean, it will pull the dirt off the floors and you will see how dark the water gets after cleaning. It self cleans which is a huge plus and the other regular vaccum is so light in weight but with super strong suction power
